"What?"
Dr. Yeardling achingly gets off the ground.

Dr. Yeardling takes off his beret and bows to her.
"You are truly the leader this place needs. I commend you."

She returns the bow. "Thank you kindly. I just need to get Culdranthine to step in line... They're being very 'iffy' about assisting us or not. And I'm pretty sure half of their senators are dead now because I've been trying to eliminate the ones opposing intervention."

He smiles warmly.
"I'm sure you'll figure something out."

Dr. Yeardling strokes his chin.
"You know, I have some ties to a resistance group back in my home country. They've been quiet for a bit, but they love helping overthrow evil tyrannical governments. I might be able to get them to support you."

"As much as I'd love accepting help I would like to keep this a strictly Tinellian affair. When other nations get involved they almost always have some sort of outside agenda. Like when the King of Reiltam was overthrown by a 'homebred' Communist coup. Bullshit. The Soviets were in on it."

He nods.
"I understand."

"Besides, this'll make for a far better story. The Reils, once considered pests, a nuisance, a scourge upon the land... Led by a former enemy and assisted by holy orders from across the land, supported with an alliance from Culdranthine finally defeating the dreaded Arkadacians? Oh, if Adicei could see me now..."

"Adicei?"
He pulls out his pipe and lights it with the strange black lighter given to him by Drake.

"My adoptive mother, so to speak... After my tribe was killed she stumbled upon me and Crysal and raised us. I never saw her face, she always had it covered but she contributed to who I am, even thousands of years later..."

He smiles a nervous smile.
She turns around and blinks. "I have to get the ships fixed and send word to the Knights. It's not like I'm going there now. It'll be a few days. Have patience."
