NSG Senate General Discussion Thread (Former Lobby)

Postby NSG Senate Administrators » Wed Jun 04, 2014 10:42 pm

The NSG Senate is on hiatus for now, this thread is used as a discussion for a potential future reboot.

Original title: Baltonian Parliament Lobby: Please Give Potato [NSG Senate]
Anyone who is a current member of the NSG Senate may post here. This rule will be changed when we start redoing signups for the reboot.

This is the official lobby thread of the reboot of the NSG Senate. This OP will be updated several times over the next few days with appropriate information, including links and other relevant connections to the rest of the roleplay. The lobby is for IC and OOC discussion.

Overview of Disciplinary Procedures

Rules
All normal NS rules remain in force
Warning Levels
Green- Level 1, equivalent to one warning
Blue- Level 2, equivalent to two warnings
Yellow- Level 3, denoting 1-3 days of suspension time total
Orange- Level 4, denoting 4+ days of suspension time total, and also denoting that the next offence will likely result in a ban
Black- banned from Senate

Further points:
-After being suspended once, each subsequent infraction results in more suspensions (not necessarily of more time), not further warnings.
-Posting past suspension results in an automatic upgrade to the next level of delinquency
-Warning levels can decrease over time:
-From Green to None: 2 weeks
-From Blue to Green: 3 weeks
-From Yellow to Blue: 5 weeks
-From Orange to Yellow: 6 weeks
-From Black to Orange: Admin discretion after 8 weeks

Dovydas gives the man a nod before turning to address a new man in the room.

OOC: Alright, I guess I'll just have to wait for the signups. I had previously been part of the old senate as United Timelines, but it would be more fitting for this nation to be part of the new senate. Hope this isn't too rule-breaky.

No, it's fine. We'll have the app thread up within a few days, anyway, so stay posted and you'll get in soon.

That's the name we'll use most often. I'm inclined to accept Glasgia's proposal of Baltonia/Kalengiya/Heldmark for ethnic division.

So if my party used the word Kalengiya instead of Baltonia, would that make sense?

You're the Soviet nationalists? Yes, that would make perfect sense as far as I understand Glasgia.

Nope, just to be difficult :p Kalengija is the native Baltic name, while Baltoniya is the Russian name. I'd imagine Soviet nationalists would use the latter.
