Education is the backbone of society and the economy. It is of the utmost importance to stress this ideal, and not to add a social stigma to the institution like 'Oh, you're a teacher? Insert 'witty' and disrespectful remark here.' It is because of education, education that encourages the growth of curiosity and endows one the ability to think beyond to solve relevant issues and the institution that makes all of us functioning members of the greater society, that we as humanity have progressed as far as we have.

Education is the near perfect way we as humans have developed to establish equality. Equality of opportunity, and the cultivation of endless potential. It is in the corporation's, government's, and above all the people's best interests to invest in this institution so that every single one of us may benefit in the end.

It is not simply a privilege for the rich. It is a right for all. A fundamental right, so not only does one become a fully integrated member of society, but one will be able to reach their potential and feel satisfied and content with who they have become.

Education is many things, but above all it is what identifies us as an ever changing and ever blossoming group of beings.
