Welcome to the official Communist Party Headquarters for the Aurentine Commonwealth (OoC: NSG Senate). The Communist Party sets forth a perspective for a future society, overthrowing capitalism and advancing to communism. The party advocates the position of a “step-by-step advance,” that any social change can only be made when people think such change is necessary and conditions for it are in place. The party is also based on the theory of “revolution by the majority” that any stage of social development will be brought about only after the majority of people have agreed and supported it.

The Party also stands strongly for the protection and preservation of, and working together with our natural environment. The Communist Party also stands firmly against militarism and wars of aggression, as well as the unnecessary use of violence in attempting to reach a communist society. We see national boundaries as arbitrary, our only real differences being those of class. We seek to establish a stateless, classless, moneyless society structured upon the common ownership of the means of production.

Platform of the Communist Party

Statement of Principles
The platform of the Communist Party is the platform for a workers’ republic. That is, our platform is not designed to bring about a more democratic capitalist system. The current material conditions in society have demonstrated the impossibility to resolving even the most minimal of democratic tasks. Moreover, the actions that the working class has undertaken over the past few years have shown that, when our brothers and sisters do begin to make their break with the system of the exploiting and oppressing classes, the transition to revolutionary (and communist) consciousness is relatively rapid and direct.

The Communist Party struggles for the complete victory of the social revolution of the working class and the introduction of the communist program in its entirety. The Party believes that all hitherto advances of human society in the economy, science, technology and standards of living have created all of the material conditions necessary to establish a society of generalized freedom without classes, exploitation and oppression (i.e., a world communist society), and that the working class upon taking political power must introduce its communist program.

The first historic step in the introduction and implementation of the communist program will be the abolition of the private ownership of all capital, including the means of production, distribution and exchange. This act of abolition will be universal; not only will it affect large- and medium-scale businesses and industries, but also small businesses and shops, and privately-owned cooperatives. This capital, however, will not simply be transferred from private to state ownership. Ownership of capital will be abolished in all ways; such capital will have no owners of any kind. Instead, capital will be seen in a light similar to that of forests or the oceans: as a part of the commons — a resource to be preserved, maintained and used for the good of all.

While there will be numerous issues that will confront a newly-liberated proletariat, we believe the following general principles represent a starting point and foundation for the fulfillment of the struggle for a classless communist society:

Minimum Program
  1. Establishment of political and economic structures based on working people’s direct and permanent participation in the administration and exercise of power;
  2. Establishment of far-reaching, unconditional and guaranteed civil and human rights, social equality, and freedom for all; abolition of any kind of discrimination according to race or nationality, gender or gender identity, sexuality or sexual identity, citizenship or residency, religion, age, ability, etc.;
  3. Adoption of measures to radically and swiftly push aside socially-reactionary, discriminatory and degrading beliefs, customs and traditions, and to help with the development of a free and open culture, values and human relations;
  4. Reorganization of the state into a revolutionary workers' republic, replacing arbitrary geographic divisions with organic democratic workers' councils centered around economic production;
  5. Development of a syndicalist participatory planned economy, organized by a federal system of workplace assemblies and delegated committees;
  6. The progressive dismantling of the state terror apparatus, including but not limited to the abolition of punitive prisons for effective rehabilitation, the abolition of standing armies and state security systems for citizen-militias, and the reorganization of the police into an accountable, democratic institution of public safety instead of class rule.
  7. The reorganization of all economic activity to promote a social ecology, organizing human affairs to promote biological diversity, stable ecosystems, and healthy relationships among humans and with the environment.
This account is run by the collective leadership of the Free Communists of Baltonia (NSG Senate Reboot). At the present, it is being managed by Osea 767 and Sahrani DR.

Party Organizations

Local Revolutionary Committees

It is of extreme importance to our party that local organs exist to support the advancement of the party's goals. Therefore, the central committee authorizes the establishment of the Local Revolutionary Committee (LRC) as such an organ and encourages the formation of Local Revolutionary Committees throughout the territory of Aurentina.

The Local Revolutionary Committees shall be granted oversight and managerial powers over local branches of party organizations. The LRCs will be subject to the same by the Communist Party Central Committee. The Local Committees will be empowered to created subordinate committees if needed to enable it to better fufil its functions.

These committees will be given the following tasks.

. Education of the masses in socialist theory
. Dissemination of our propaganda and ideals
. Assistance to the proletariat in the creation of local worker organizations and associations
. Education of the masses on the various tactics for the struggle
. Agitation of the proletariat to encourage them to conduct acts of civil disobedience and initiate struggle, whether labour struggles or those of a wider class nature, against the bourgeoisie
. Oversight and management of the local branches of party organizations

Community Support Network

As a party, we recognize that the main causes of many of the problems of society can only be truly dealt with via the implementation of socialism. Yet we are not indifferent to the suffering of the needy. We will not wait until the day of revolution to provide aid. Therefore, the Communist Party currently runs a network devoted to the cause of helping those in need. It's services include:-

Homeless Assistance

The homeless assistance program has an important aim, that being to help the homeless improve their lot. Provision of rest centres that provide food and a place to stay is one method. Of course, that of working to enable the homeless to gain their own accommodation and help them overcome problems like a need to gain skills or deal with addictions are also included. Support to help the homeless access the welfare system and make the best use of what it offers are also included.

Another system of support is the Basic Necessities Distribution Network (BNDN). This covers items like clothes, furniture and important household devices and items. This system is one available to those with minimal income, though the homeless have a higher ability to access the resources of the network. Naturally, the system of provisions is not limited to the BNDN, with foodbanks also accessible.

Addiction Support

This service exists partially due to the condition of quite a few homeless people, though is open to others. The aim of the program, naturally, is to help people in dealing with and overcoming addictions, whether it be to alcohol or worse.

Minimal Income Support

This is support for people who, while they have a home and some form of income, find it stretched to the limits. This organization provides services like food banks and emergency financial grants. Other services include a degree of access to the basic necessities distribution network. A travel fund exists for those searching for jobs, plus a limited fund for education and training. There is also a fund for the elderly, ready to supply the elderly with additional funds during periods identified as times when they could need such assistance.
Committee for Culture and Entertainment

The Council of Socialist Constituencies has recently passed a bill creating a society for culture and learning. While these efforts are good news to us, we should not neglect to make our own contributions. Therefore, the Communist Party shall create its own Committee for Culture and Entertainment.

Culture

Like the People's Society for Culture and Learning, we shall commit ourselves to supporting the culture of the proletariat.

The CCE shall also create its own prizes. Special events for awards to the creators of works of workers culture will be fully supported.

Cultural Festivals shall be supported by the CCE.

The CCE will support institutions dedicated to finding those with potential in cultural fields and help them develop their skills. It will also help them promote their works.

The CCE shall run a monthly cultural magazine, containing news and opinions, plus samples from writers and artists. Free CD's will be included when samples on that medium are offered by artists.

Entertainment

The CCE commits itself to supporting efforts to make events and venues for entertainment are easily available for the masses.

The CCE will fund and run a network of theatres and cinemas, with the prices set to ensure affordability and communities given the ability to make recommendations to the CCE.

Musical Events and Performances will be given support by the CCE. Efforts will be made for the provision of venues that are affordable for the masses.

Comedy will be given support. Efforts will be made to provide affordable and comfortable venues for stand-up. In addition to this, opportunities will be made available for new comics to see how their acts perform in front of audiences.
Committee for Reason and Enlightenment

The Communist Party, as an organization centred around scientific socialism, recognizes the value of reason and rational thought as a means of understanding the world. It is also a committed supporter to the spread of reason and understanding, with its light shining against the darkness of ignorance and superstition. Because of this, the Communist Party shall support as a party organisation this Committee for Reason and Enlightenment (CRE).

The CRE shall commit itself to the following tasks.

. The CRE shall support the validity of the scientific method
. The CRE shall work to challenge superstitious beliefs, whether of religious nature or modern systems like homeopathy
. The CRE shall encourage rational debate about systems of belief and encourage people to consider the merits of non-religious systems and moral philosophies
. The CRE shall support the freedom of scientists to conduct research, unhindered by the efforts of the superstitious
. The CRE shall support systems of education that are on purely rational lines and shall resist efforts by anyone to introduce superstitious beliefs into the curriculum of schools
League of Communist Youth

As the largest revolutionary socialist party of Aurentina, the Communist Party is obliged to support young Aurentines in their development. To enable the party to achieve this goal, it has created the League of Communist Youth. This organization supports young Aurentines, providing a variety of groups and activities centered around personal improvement, developing community values and gaining an understanding of the theories of socialism.

"This guy is a State socialist, which doesn't so much mean mass murder and totalitarianism as it means trying to have a strong state to lead the way out of poverty and towards a bright future. We need to move to the next step, by which I mean the election of a new Central Committee. We might also do some restructuring, in the form of combining a few ambassadorships. We have a thread on the matter in the Communist Party external forum.
