Esteemed Delegates and humble Ambassadors of the World Assembly,
Today I speak to you not just for myself but as the voice of the entire region of Gatesville.
Twice now the world assembly has singled out our region and attempted to condemn us, and twice your futile attempts have failed. For what were you trying to condemn us? For exercising of democratic rights to vote? Gatesville will tolerate interference from the WA no longer!
We are not always well received by you all, but I assure you that nothing you can do will make us go away. Gatesville was founded on the belief that the corruption of the WA's previous embodiment had spread too far. We saw resolution after resolution being passed, slowly little by little molding us all into the same dry form. It was this restriction of freedom and expression enforced on our sovereign states which drove Gatesville forward in it's mission. We did not fight for ourselves, nor for our region, we fought for all of NationStates in the hopes that one day we would be free from the oppression of a corrupt governing body. The rise of the World Assembly which once gave us hope of a new beginning, brought bitter disappointment as it too became full of corruption just as the old establishment had been. Hide behind your masks of unity and triumphant democracy if you will, Gatesville sees the true beast you keep hidden and soon your deceit will be revealed to the world.
Gatesville will no longer stand idly by as the WA spreads it's lecherous claws into the nations of NationStates in order to manipulate them into following some sick, twisted will. For too long we have been sitting in the background quietly watching the world. This recent attack on our region's ideals has caused the sleeping dragon to stir and soon the consequences shall be felt. The pedestal upon which Gatesville's torch of freedom once stood has transformed into a raging hellfire that will cleanse this body of the corruption which has been rooted here for too long. The oppressed cry out for aid but no longer shall they to be ignored. Like a phoenix Gatesville is rising up from the ashes and will not rest until we see the end of the World Assembly!
The recent attacks on Gatesvillian ideology brought about by the World Assembly has issued a blatant challenge which can no longer ignored. Gatesville accepts this challenge and declares war against the Security council, the World Assembly, and all those foolish enough to follow along blindly behind them. I will further state that any nation and their region that are sympathetic to the WA and the Security council will be fair game for attack.
