And unfairly so given this in all intents is definitely not a joke proposal - and for that - I think to owe everyone you derided in this thread for being too serious an apology.

No; this is the Security Council, not the General Assembly. There is nothing wrong with "joke proposals" having individual threads here.

Also note that a proposal that is intended as a joke, or not entirely seriously, or that is humourous in some fashion is not necessarily a "joke proposal" that is illegal under the rules. There is plenty of precedent for proposals being passed with non-serious intent or containing humour.

Well, I think what we all want to know is, do you mean that you seriously want Bitely condemned? Or was it meant as a joke? If it was serious, like I stated before, you'll get nowhere with a condemnation. Your currently good reputation will be crushed. I absolutely hate Bitely, but I don't think condemnation will do anything. Look at other nations that were condemned. Did it stop them? Is this about you wanting the WA to know how much you hate Bitely? Or is it about stopping Bitely from causing further chaos?

That's the problem, though, if this somehow passes at vote, even once repealed, it is there forever. You will lose any and all credibility you have in the SC, and a fair portion of the GA. If you really want to pursue this, at least wait until Protection of Sapient Rights 2: Electric Boogaloo is passed.

I don't see the issue. The proposal is about the GA, so presumably players can RP it if they wish. GP-based proposals are another matter.
