[DRAFT] Commend The Rejected Realms

Postby Stuzemstazem » Tue Oct 07, 2014 4:32 pm

Applauding the fact that the Rejected Realms are the only ejection-free zone in NS.

Also Applauding the Rejected Realms for their high amount of Civil Rights and Political Freedoms.

Praising the RR for protecting and defending nations that were once being raided.

Congratulating the RR for maintaining neutrality in conflict unless its security is threatened.

Hoping that is Commendation will encourage The Rejected Realms to continue being politically free and ejection-free for as long as it may exist.

Hereby commends The Rejected Realms.

Yeah no. Much of what's been said, aside from the game mechanic qualities of the region, can be applied to other regions.

Is this the thread for the currently submitted proposal Commend the Rejected Realms? There are some discrepancies, the draft in this thread is completely different from the submitted proposal and they have different authors from different regions.

Nope - post a new thread if you want to debate the one submitted by Brunerist Delegate.

We're honoured to have two commendations being written for us! Thanks so much for taking the time and effort to write this draft, Stuzemstazem. While I think Todd McCloud is right that this proposal could be more specific to us, it's nice to know someone thinks we're doing something right! Cheers.

Yours,
Unibot.

The other one is not expected to pass due to improper formatting, and the author is that of the region.
I wont submit this until that one is off the table

Ah...

It is pointless Commend only Game Created Region where ejections are impossible for that reason. Then, it is also place where all ejected/banjected nations end, which means raiders and invaders ejecting natives to TRR are back upping this Commendation by their practice, The HQ of The Failed UDL? Are they?

If there are something commendable in TRR, it is the fact it is biggest region of the game by number of resident nations, which makes its updating longer then any other regions in The Game. That gives to R/D updaters good moment for refill their cups of coffee, go to WC, call Auntie or what ever. The region is also relatively late updating region, which means it can be used as a relatively good jump point.

Hmmm.... Maybe raiders should start use it for their Jump Point. That would increase its activity and high profile further, needed for Any kind CC proposals.

You are trying to condemn them because of something completely out of their control, that is coded into the game, and that they have no choice as to whether or not to abide by. Next, try and comment yourself for being a nation.

I think you mean commend, not condemn. It doesn't really matter though. Either way, your argument holds.

There certainly are some things about the Rejected Realms that can be commended, none of which seems to appear in this draft. I'm sure if you dig around a little more you might find some stronger points to back up this proposal.

You mean commend right? That's great! To be honest nations and regions are proud also with condemnations...

On top of what has already been stated, which I agree with...

Congratulating the RR for maintaining neutrality in conflict unless its security is threatened.

As someone who is heavily involved in the military element of NationStates... The RR's military has a history of undertaking operations when its own regional security has not been threatened. So that part of the Commendation not only weak, but false.

I've only just read your post properly Uni, but time and effort? This draft took about 30 seconds to write, 15 of which the author spent looking for his crayons.

Anyway it's a moot point now as the author has been booted from the WA for using someone else's crayons.

...that is like commending NS for being made the way it was which is hardly what the Security Council is here for, is it? :eyebrow:
