However if i was provided with delegacy (non-executive) for an indeffinant term than id shut up. Would have me put a lot more trust into the region and strengthen ties betweem AoI and CoF. I feel this is a good thing - however if the citizen base disagrees than so be it.

The goal is a democratic region. Removed from the tyranny indefinite rule can lead to. You're not going to get an indefinite term of office unless you march in and take it by force, period.

You can live there, you can run, you can win, you can run for re-election, and if you follow the constitution and it's limits on powers, you can keep that seat for as long as the people want you to. But we're not giving it to you for life.

And sending more TG's might just make them vote the other way at this point.

If he mentions TBR multiple times, however....

No, we are not a nation of cat people. We're all humans (and a few annoying gnomes) here. The cat's just there because our king is such a genius, he saw that it would be a good military strategy to have a distractingly cute flag, to blind our enemies to (our) victory!
Technological level: FUTURE TECH. We also have MAGICAL TECH, and a lot of the people here still play with MEDIEVAL TECH and PRESENT TECH. We're cool that way.

Let's be clear here about why the liberation passed in the first place. The Delegate of the third most influential region in NationStates (according to a recent survey) authored it, it referred to The Black Riders as many times as possible while still maintaining coherent sentence structures, several big Delegates voted for it early, and it had "Liberate" in front of it.

Anyone who thinks they're responsible for it passing, and can prevent a repeal from passing, is delusional. I don't even think I'm completely responsible for it passing, and I'm a Sinker Delegate and the guy who authored the resolution.

What you all need is a healthy dose of humility and a swift kick in the arse. In the meantime, I've approved the repeal and will vote on it according to the regional vote in Osiris -- as I do on every resolution, including the initial liberation -- but otherwise I wash my hands of this whole mess and I'm not going to be further involved. People should vote however they feel is best on this repeal; I have no position at this point except disgust with all involved parties.

I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy day to show how disgusted you are with me 8)

Coming from you it really means a lot

You don't have a history involving destroying a region by sneakily gaining access to a shared founder, among other offences, as far as I know ;)

EDIT: I almost forgot! Thanks to EVERYONE who approved! We've reached Quorum and will be at vote in just a few hours!

@Rifty - oh, so just other past behavior stuff then :P ANd the general thing involving the fact that bans for mistaken "hackings" are hard to reverse. One of my pups got killed for that once after someone asked me to help them figure it out when they lost it...it took a GHR filed by *him* saying I was innocent for it to be reversed.

Honorable Delegate %NATION%
As you have been aware, you have been subject to non-stop spam from The Incorporated States of Riftyl, trying to stop you from approving the proposal to repeal the liberation of Coalition of freedom. His plan is to annoy everyone enough that they will not approve this proposal. I myself have absolutely zero interest in what happens in this region, but I like you an tired of his constant spam.
I would ask that you APPROVE this proposal and vote for it, so this nightmare will end. I assure you this is the only telegram on this matter you will receive from me.
Regards and thank you for your time,

The current poll occurred as extremely shocking to our government. Therefore, we have to ask all of you non-newbie fellows: Do most of the nations vote not knowing what a resolution will impact? Does anyone actually read and make sure they understand the resolution?. The same group of members, passing a bill with a clear majority, then immediately attempt to repeal it, with an overwhelming support.

Quite ridiculous, if you ask me.

We were already expecting a repeal, as we were engaged in the discussion in the forums of the original liberation thread. What took us by surprise, though, is how the votes of the fellow WA nations has had... such a dramatic change in this utterly short timeframe. Not even that many WA nations, let alone Delegates, frequent these forums; yet the votes suddenly shift in favour of a repeal.

Unless, of course, Rifty's, or anybody else's, TG campaign has had a massive brainwashing success.

If this situation were to happen in real life, the governments of the WA and the WA itself will be at the mercy of political commentators, criticism from opposition parties, and in more political sensitive ones even open bombardment from the voters that hates its government being wibbly-wobbly. Reminds me how much the WA is both a realistic supranational political entity, and is not such an entity, at the same time.

Our nation has quite a vibrant history, you can also check out our national map. You can also click here to request an embassy.
You should check out our overly complex government structure.
