In any case, I highly condemn the use of the WA for the advancement of Raiders or Defenders, unless raided regions didn't want to be raided.

Good lord you're dense.

If you'd paid any attention at all to the recent Liberate Haven crap, you'd have seen that I was one of its main opposition. Hell, I fucking organised the unapproval campaign.

That doesn't make sense. You have stated multiple times on this forum that your goal is to drag every region into the raiding game. So, unless I'm bad at catching sarcasm, in which case the reason you made this piece of legislation was solely to bring attention to your issues with NS++ (in which case this is not the place to be doing it). Otherwise, not only are you an a**hole, but you are trying to hide it by calling me dense.

For those of you who still have some doubts about voting against this proposal, the Founder of Capitalist Paradise would like to address your concerns.

The fact that Capitalist Paradise has a Founder and no password should be enough reason for people to vote against this silly proposal.

You know, we already have a precedent for getting back at someone without supposedly breaking "tit-for-tat", you know like Elke & Elba's proposal.

Elke & Elba's repeal was unfortunate in some of its motives (the pettiness of the attack), but in the end, its grounds were reasonable. It may have been set up as an attack somewhat akin to Liberate Capitalist Paradise, but unlike this proposal, its stated grounds were that the region had essentially lost what made it commendable (its members); here, the grounds are to punish a region for one and only one of its member's mistakes, to "further interregional peace" (but Capitalist Paradise has not, as a region, done anything to damage it, and neither are they a threat to it) and to "help fulfill a region's potential" (whatever the hell that means: its vagueness could be used in future liberations like this, and was actually used somewhat in Liberate Haven, which I believe is part of the reason why some people still support this).

This proposal's blatant support of mindless mob globalist tyranny is almost refreshing, insofar as it doesn't even require a detailed explanation as to why it should be consigned to the legislative abyss.

I was the NSUN Delegate for Capitalist Paradise some many years ago, and was ejected after a period of relative stability for not condoning the founders wishes. Happy to see this supported, if only for bitter revenge ;)

It is pleasing to see common sense prevail and see this ridiculous resolution defeated. How such a poorly written and obvious revenge based resolution managed to reach quorum is beyond me, but I'm glad to have seen it go down in flames.

It never stood a chance. Apparently, Capitalist Paradise never even had a password. It was just someone going off and trying to kill a region they had issues with without knowing anything about that region.

So, because you got ejected, you want a password-less region "liberated"? This proposal was flawed from the beginning. Revenge does not belong in the Security Council, it belongs to yourself.

That's what I've been saying all along. The region has a Founder and never had a password. I strongly believe that the only reason this got the support it did is because people, specifically Nierr, wanted revenge on Afforess and decided to punish the region he happened to be a member of.

I believe he said so, a few pages back.
Anyway, it is finished. Let's not pointlessly continue this discussion by continuing to post in this thread, especially since such actions might lead to more butthurt. THREAD LOwait, no, I'm not a mod.

No, but the proposal is pretty closely related to Liberate Haven, and I don't think anyone wants to even mention that anymore (except me, coz' it flows down the tongue so smoothly).

Because it's really easy to get stuff to quorum.

Had Liberate Haven not even been made, this one wouldn't have been made either.
