Solm openly assists in "liberations" and "defenses" of regions when he's active. Does that make Ellorea a target?

The "evidence" in the OP is circumstantial at best and completely irrelevant at worst.
Anyone who was around for the coup and was paying attention could see that Havenites were involved. That shouldn't be up for debate here.

Then if that is the case, give us proof. Right now, if you want to have this liberation passed, you need to address the concerns of the RP community that accuse the OP of wanting to drag them into R/D. They and everyone else who finds this proposal quite ridiculous and the accusations baseless.

Ellorea would be a pretty terrible target. It has an active founder and a password. If the password is founder imposed then a Liberation wouldn't work on it.

I'm sure you'll figure out a way. I mean, we were told that passwords were our way of opting out. And now look what you've done. Also, I'm of the opinion that you should resign.
Govindia: Do you consider me a friend, or just an acquaintance or what?
hobbes: I don't particularly consider anyone a true 'friend'
hobbes: at least,not on NS
Govindia: why is that?
hobbes: because

Havenites may have participated in the TSP situation on their own accord, I have no concrete evidence one way or another, and nor does anyone else outside of speculation. But what can be proven is THIS. Yes, that's Gholgoth's flag flying over TSP, and Milo can confirm this is not a photoshopped image. Though it only flew briefly, we put our stamp on TSP. So that pretty much takes any wind out of the sails of this proposal, since Haven did not have "heavy involvement" in that incident, there was instead Gothic influence behind the scenes.
I like the part where you can see the Haven embassy being one of the most prominent. Also none of my evidence is hearsay. Thats not what that means.

It's really quite symptomatic of the problem at hand - this idea that we're 'nobodies'. We may not play this game the same way you do, Mallorea, but is it really appropriate to sideline us, and our deep-seated frustrations, because we're not like you?
Mallorea and Riva wrote:-The West Coast- wrote:When there are literally hundreds of peaceful RP regions out there, ones who have never even met or even spoken to members of Haven.
Which is why I'm not Liberating any of the peaceful ones, I'm choosing to try and Liberate Haven. There's a better chance of this passing with the line regarding TSP, otherwise I would have to try something else.
Mallorea and Riva wrote:Delmonte wrote:You're flipping back and forth now. At one point you'll say "Well, all I really need to do is show a connection between Haven and the coup" then when you can't do that you say "Well, RPers in general supported it so any action against any RPing region is justified." Pick one. And then resign, please.
It is both true that Haven was involved and that many RPers were involved.

R/D? You're gonna play and you're gonna like it or you can fuck off.

And the claims that "R/D is like RL war so deal with it" are just utterly bullshit. If the US and Mexico go to war, it won't send Vermont and North Dakota to try to steal Mexico's UN seat.

That's not the legal definition of hearsay, that's just a colloquial definition which has gained prominence. All anyone has to do is look at the list of embassies in TSP's history during the coup to see the pattern. They can close their eyes and plug their ears if they want, I've demonstrated Havenite involvement on a level far more extensive than what anyone initially admitted.Imperializt Russia wrote:Mallorea and Riva wrote:What definition of hearsay are you using?
Neat sidestep.
Hearsay is unverified information.
While Haven's embassy may well have been "prominent" (whatever the hell that even means), the significance you ascribe to it is hearsay. Your hearsay, funnily enough.

That meme came out of nowhere.
The embassy argument works because, as everyone involved in the coup knows, the embassies were traded for support an to stick it to TSP's government in exile. Unlike RL embassies which operate in completely different ways than the game's system.
