You may be thinking of the Commend Auralia proposal that was removed due to the nation illegally submitting the proposal while WA multying. The fact that the nation tried to commend itself was not the problem; rather, it was the fact that the nation was breaking in-game rules.

Needless to say, there are numerous examples that clearly show how self-commendations are typically mocked, frowned upon, and are socially unacceptable in this body. So while it's not illegal, it's certainly looked upon with scorn.

Yes, this is kind of beating a dead horse, but this subject has been confused several times in this thread (see the second link for some examples) so it's worth bringing it up.

I'm pretty sure that the operative clause isn't up to par. It never actually says "DEN" anywhere in the op clause, and also appears to be doing more than condemning.
