Suggesting that Yohannes is no such role model. Its global influence, while impressive, promotes the values of the nation itself. Citizens of Yohannes have heavily restricted civil and political rights in comparison to many other nations.

Indicting the apparent neglect to citizens by the government, in order to further its aristocratic interests. While one of the largest and richest nations, Yohannes citizens suffer one of the shortest known lifespans and are kept constantly in line with oppressive policy by omnipresent police forces.

Dissatisfied by the civil freedoms afforded to the citizens by the omnipresent Yohannesian government as representing a world benchmark

Conceding that Yohannes as a nation is largely successful and a world leader in many important innovations

Believing that Yohannes in most ways however does not represent a moral or ideological benchmark worthy of promotion by the security council

Argument: Opposed

This is essentially an attempt by the imperialist and raider alignments to give themselves a trophy. If they really cared about Nazis or their presence in NationStates like they claim, they would have come up with some great purpose for Nazi Europe like making it into a memorial or something instead of turning the WFE into a trophy for themselves, then trying to bag another trophy for themselves through a WA repeal.

All of the authors are from Osiris and/or other imperialist regions listed in the proposal. It's essentially a backhanded self-commendation.

Doubtless this proposal will end up passing with the votes of raiders, imperialists, and "independents", but to me it's saddening that even a topic as serious as Nazis is fodder for certain regions' relentless drives to glorify themselves above all else. It's especially ironic given that the proposal states that Nazi Europe is no longer deserving of any attention...except for this self-serving purpose, apparently.
