Main Parties
Conservative Party - pretty much what It sounds like. Quite conservative. Traditionalists, largest party in Impireacht.
Socialist Party - Left-Wing, favoring Socialism. Obviously. Progressive, often "overly progressive"

Obscure Parties
Imperialist Party - again pretty self explanatory, these guys are a small group that want to revert Impireacht to it's ancient imperial government, and crown an emperor. Largest obscure party.
Feudal Party - The feudal party wants to see the medieval peerage re-emerge (titles are still recognized in Impireacht but are just for show - nobility has no special rights). As you might guess, it's mostly made of people who think they can claim titles because their great-great grandmother's friend's roomate's cat used to belong to minor nobility.
Anarchist Party - Down with the government, let's all go live in the woods!
A few dozen parties not even worth mention later...
Pirate Party - A group of people who claim to be descended from pirates, and say pirates should rule the nation because they were "so important" in it's history. Really just a group of 10-20 lunatics. This one isn't really recognized by... anyone. Smallest party in Impireacht.

Liberal Party of Plata - The Liberal Party of Plata is the most historic and well accomplished political parties being based on the British Liberal Party. It advocates equality for minorities, universal free healthcare as a civil right, known to allow Spanish to be recognized as a language spoken in public of Plata. On The Topic Of Partisan Politics

For at least two centuries the Arthurian Federation and its cantons have been dominated by a multi-party democratic system. Currently, a political party can be established by any Arthurian adult citizen whether they reside in the federal territory or abroad. A multitude therefore exist representing diverse ideologies and philosophies. In the present Folketing, the country's lower parliamentary chamber, nine parties are represented alongside ten independent, single-issue or single-constituency parties. Five of those parties are also represented in the Storting, the country's nine-person directorial head of government.

Because of the federal system employed by the Arthurian Basic Law, far more parties are represented in the cantonal Lagting. The Landting - the upper chamber of the Arthurian parliament and the representative body of the cantons at the federal level - contains representatives from only six of the major parties.

The federally-represented parties are as follows, in order of number of seats held in the Folketing. Where applicable, the parties' representation in the Landting is also noted.

  • Fjalserälet - The Liberals: Centre-right. Led by Hilde Manus, the current Federal Minister of the Treasury, the primary focus of the Liberals is on reducing the level of government involvement in the economy to a significant but not unsustainable level. They have spearheaded a reform of the economic model of Arthuria over the past six years, opening up services and industries to private competition and improving the freedom of doing business. The Liberals also fight hard to defend civil liberties, particularly individual and familial privacy. They are the largest party in the Folketing at the time of writing, holding forty-eight seats. Three of its Folkemaður are represented in the Storting and they also hold representation in the Landting.
  • Vinsters Bundet - The Left Alliance: Centre-left. Led by Henrietta Ipsen, the current Federal Minister of Home Affairs, the Left Alliance is a social democratic party that focuses on improving Arthurian citizens' access to welfare and providing them with strong protections against employers. They were the traditionally dominant party in Arthurian politics from the 1060s to 1080s A.R. (1970s to the 1990s AD), but have lost seats to the Liberals since then. They are the largest party to advocate a more activist role for Arthuria in international affairs. At the time of writing, they hold thirty-nine seats in the Folketing and two seats in the Storting. They are represented in cantonal governments and consequently in the Landting.
  • Midsæts Parðil - Centre Party: Centre. Led by Andriður Jónsson, the current Federal Minister of Defence, the Centre Party tends to strike a balance between the Liberals' free-market reforms and the Left Alliance's protections of workers. It generally supports a reduction in state interference in the economy, but is supportive of policies that would restrict demerit goods such as cigarettes, fatty foods and drugs. Socially, it supports a strong welfare state but objects to the diminishment of employer power. It is supportive of limiting Arthuria's role in global affairs. The Centre Party currently holds thirty-five seats in the Folketing and two seats in the Storting. It is represented in the Landting.
  • Grøns Parðil - Green Party: Left. Led by Lief Kierkegaard, the current Federal Minister of Nature and the Environment, the Green Party focuses primarily on environmental affairs and matters of social justice. It does not strongly support workers' rights, like the Left Alliance, but believes that the free market must be heavily regulated for the good of the environment, going much further than either the Liberals or the Centre Party in this regard. The Green Party advocates a universal welfare state, a reduction in defence spending, a massive investment into healthcare and environmental protection and global activism to support this platform. At the time of writing, the Green Party possesses twenty-three Folketing seats and one has one representative in the Storting. They hold positions within the Landting.
  • Sparenmaðurs Parðil - Conservative Party: Right. Led by Johan Oðinsson, the current Federal Minister of Health and Sports, the Conservative Party focuses on the economy and immigration. Economically they desire to see a radical reduction of state control, except for the agricultural sector which they argue should be protected with subsidies and tax-breaks. They also call for stricter immigration policies, including a reduction in the current quota to only 25,000 per annum. Before the successful disarmament referendum, the Conservatives campaigned fiercely to retain nuclear weapons. They wish to increase defence spending to ensure Arthurian neutrality, while refraining from global activism. At the time of writing, the Conservative Party has twenty-one Folkemaður and one seat in the Storting. It is the last of the parties which holds a vote in the Landting by virtue of its place in some southern cantonal governments.
  • Krists Maðurstríks Parðil - The Christian Democrat Party: Centre-left. Led by Max Thornsson, the CDP is similar in policies to the Centre Party. It does, however, lean more towards the Left Alliance's views on workers' rights and therefore is more interventionist than the Centre Party. It has no seats in the Storting but nine members in the Folketing.
  • Grøns Fjalserälet - The Green Liberals: Centre-left. Led by Freyja Oðinsdottir, the Green Liberals espouse similar economic and social policies to the Liberals, but they advocate for greater efforts on environmental protection. They also favour greater global activism than the Liberals. Their primary goal is to uphold civil liberties, so their environmental efforts are less radical than those of the Green Party. They have no seats in the Storting or Landting but are represented in the Folketing by seven Folkemaður.
  • Fœðerabundstäts Bundet - The Federal Union: Right. Led by Hilde Schmidt, the Federal Union is an anti-immigration party that favours abandoning the long-term Arthurian policy of neutrality and becoming militarily involved in global affairs. Specifically, it believes that the Arthurian Federation should openly support and attempt to join the Pol-Nui-Ra alliance in Noctur and its associated economic organisation R.I.C.H. It does, however, support environmental protections and a strong welfare state. The party possesses six seats in the Folketing and no representation in either the Landting or Storting.
  • Fabins Parðil - Fabian Party: Left. Led by Kristian Jensen, the Labour Party is a Communist-leaning party that is similar in many ways to the Federal Union. It advocates abandoning neutrality and taking strong stances on international socialism, not siding with any of the current geopolitical blocs in Noctur. Domestically it supports a command economy dedicated to promoting workers' rights and equality of outcome. It is therefore supportive of a strong welfare state beyond that espoused by most of the mainstream parties. It is not represented in either the Landting or Storting but holds two seats in the Folketing.

The Popular Movement of the Cultural and Social Revolution (Mouvement Populaire de la Révolution Culturelle et Sociale), better known by its French-language acronym MPRCS, is the only legal political party in Mambenga. Membership is compulsory. All citizens automatically become members the moment they're born, and remain members until they die. Attempting to create an alternative political party is considered to be an act of treason.

The only party are the parties I throw for everyone where we all discuss our issues and get them resolved peacefully. We have tons of food there too.

The government party of the Republic of Vitalia is the Central Vitalist Party (CVP), which fights classism, ageism, speciesism, racism and sexism. The United Front (UF) leads the opposition, but it is a coalition. Besides, there are other parties like the Muslim League (ML) or the Pragmatic Radical Party (PRP), which appears in the issues:

Whichever parties our people create and fall under. Our Leader prefers to identify as a libertarian, himself.
