World Census 2011 OOC + ANNOUNCEMENTS

Okay, first off, I want to explain that I would have already started compiling results, but I am extremely busy (RL), and have not been able to do so. The bright side of this is that once the results are put together, they will be extremely accurate and representative of the world. So, no worries, keep on and post your survey results, if you have not already done so.

Now, because the census thread is only for answering the survey, I have decided to create this thread so that I may post announcements, possibly give sneak peeks to some of the results, and most importantly, allow for OOC discussion of the census. What could be improved? What did you not like? How much are you anticipating the results?

You can discuss anything relating to the 2010 or 2011 census here.

The results will be presented same as last year, with a variety of charts and graphs (with some technical breakdowns for some data). I would give a specific release date, but I have MANY RL commitments right now. I am working for long hours at a time right now, along with additional involvements and such. Please be patient. This is on my list, and I will work on it when I have the chance.

As for sigs, keep them or don't keep them. Polling will be open up until all results are published.

That's when I remove it. I want as many nations as possible to take the census.

A warning: due to recent RL issues, I am very unsure on when I will be able to compile results. It could be as late as April if the RL issues go badly. I apologize for this inconvenience, but I do have a life outside of NS.

Due to the fact that it will take quite awhile for me to get around to this (possibly as late as the early summer), I would like to allow distribution and processing for any of the data within the census. You may create your own graphs for your own private or public benefits, so long as you do not claim it as official WC011 data. I hope this helps with your patience. Your patience is appreciated.

I don't think they should be, because they're no longer part of the world, therefore shouldn't be counted.

Yes only because it would be difficult to make sure all nations are still active while compiling the data.

How do we get the statistics for a lot of the stuff on the questionnaire? Just make it up?

It's called tallying... not all one them are tallyable, however. Some are just for reference.

someone needs to understand that Denecaep doesn't have all the answers and is doing you a favor for FREE, now calm down.

I think that ex nations should not be counted
