It's called the Honor Knight.
Since it's a light mech, we gave it complete honor and politeness. it never fights someone innocent, someone without a weapon and always makes the fight fair by giving the opponent a weapon if it doesn't have one. it also gives mercy once the opponent is too weak or in pain or had a vital injury and sometimes helps the opponent by taking him/her to the hospital, or if the opponent is a mech takes it to a repair shop. but, if the honor knight is facing someone supposedly stronger than the honor knight, it doesn't even give the opponent to say "I challenge you" or "Attack" because it would've already hit the opponent really hard. then, it would show no mercy or remorse, even if the opponent becomes weaker than the honor knight or can't fight or lose it's weapons etc. that is the only time the honor knight will kill.

The T-39 Bogatyr is considered the PRIMARY light mech of Ruskarkand.

However, when desperate times call for desperate measures, a light mech just will not cut it.
Meet, the Atlas, our Heavy Mech.
In general, it is the equivelant of a Titan class skyfortress, except, it's on the ground.
It also likes to make a city block dissapear when it goes down, IF it goes down.
(It has a big reactor to power it, it is referred to as the core)

Note: The Bogatyr is approx. up to the height of the knee of the Atlas.

We aren't known for being small, but we do have a few guys who would qualify as sapient "light mechs." They hardly get any mention lately, but in some operations, they have served quite admirably.

I present Ravage:

His alt-mode is still a cassette tape, which means he needs an upgrade before he can return to his active service role with Decepticon Foreign Intelligence. As you can see, in his full-sized robot mode he's only the size of a puny human. This still works well for him, because as is also obvious, humans are naturally afraid of having their throats chewed out by large predatory animals - including robotic ones.

Oh, and he's a robo-panther, not a dog.

The M60 light walker, designed to support squads and platoons, whereas the heavier and more powerful M91 was designed to support companies and battalions.

We currently have no such hardware in active service, though the research and development of similar technology is being worked on.

While our military scientists have repeatedly stressed the numerous impracticalities of larger mechs such as those designed to replace the role of tanks, they have approved the concept of a smaller, more "powered armour" style of mech, not too much larger than a man and lightly armed, relying on agility rather than straight "stand and fight" power, designed more for infantry hunting in tightly packed battlefields such as during urban engagements where tanks are often useless. In short, they are being designed not to replace either tanks or infantry, but to supplement them in certain specialised cases.

OOC; That's largely the design thoughts behind the ESWAT power armour and the 'hero' mecha from Gasaraki.

PMT-IC;
The RIDF's sole mecha is the heaviest phase of the Staged High-Impact Equipment Load and Defence suit. The SH-IELD suit in it's heaviest stage is an all-purpose close combatant, making use of it's relatively small size (compared to comparable foreign systems) to provide organic fire support and additional equipment loading for RIDF infantry. It is nominally armed with an Ion Beam rifle, four tubes for guided fire-and-forget munitions, such as small missiles, an active anti-missile system, integrated 20mm automatic grenade launcher, 6.8mm enamel assault rifle, and a specialised enamel vibroblade with plasma channelling along the blade for use in mech-to-mech melee.

Like all iterations of the SH-IELD loadout, it is highly focused around protection and user comfort. It is capable of loading up three times a standard trooper's load, and is often used as a pack mule for additional munitions in FIBUA and running battles. As with all support elements in the RIDF, they are available for call and deployment at almost any time, and will be used by Ordinators to turn the tide of a pitched battle.

Deployment is generally handled by airdrop, utilising a double-load of inertia arresting gas cannisters to stop the suit from cratering. Unlike RIDF enamel rifles, the Ion Beam rifle is capable of firing when immersed in the gas'es gelatin-like viscous state, meaning that they do not have the same kind of opening that other RIDF units may provide in the time it takes for the gas to evaporate and disperse.

OOC: Dammit! Nobody has a picture of it online - not even AceWikia!

Well, the GRDF's main light mech, is the Antlion Walking Tank. It's paradropped from a large transport plane onto battlefields, and can take large amounts of damage (and cause more than enough damage to the enemy as well) before being knocked out. It has a simple air defese; mini-SAM launchers are mounted on the kneecaps of its legs. It can move surpringly fast, around 50 MPH, as it runs on a steady supply of aeons collected from the aeonosphere. General Resources private military forces like it especially becuase it is effective at taking small arms fire, able to launch multiple guided rockets and munitions, & and is more than capable of stepping, maiming, or crushing enemy ground troops. It's usual color comes in silver black, and is manned by a five-man crew.

Our standard light mech is the Armacham Elite Powered Armor. Featuring dual arm mounted triple barreled gatling guns and two shoulder mounted missile pods. Ammunition is inexhaustible. Also comes equipped with infrared cameras and a built-in range finder. Also our EPAs are modified to be much more electrically resistant than the standard one.

Here is a vehicle of one of our light mech brigades. We use a lot of light mechs.

Oh, wait, you mean walkers? Yeah, we don't use them since they're utterly impractical. Really, they are teh fail.
