At the end of the Second World War there arose two nearly invincible and all powerful national blocs, along with several dozen other nations; each effected by these two nations in their own way. This is a comprehensive look at each parties strengths and weaknesses. [This applies to the pre-set nations only, NEW COMERS ADD THEIR OWN STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES, BALANCE ACCORDINGLY - If I feel that you have not balanced accordingly I reserve the right to tweak..]

The United States of Amerika:

Strengths:
Large Patriotic Population
One of the most elite advanced military forces on Earth
Plenty of resources
Large Intelligence/Spy Community
Large Sphere of Influence, very few nations don't care about what Baltimore has on it's mind.

Weaknesses:
Over-reliance on Technology, Army unable to advance without support from Naval or Air Force.
Military Suffers from a 'Barbarian Complex', harms foreign relations due to near inhuman brutality.
Mild Federal Corruption
Grows comfortable easily; doesn't adapt to situations or weapons very easily.

On Leaders.

To be frank; I do not care if you have the same dictator from 1950 to 2015, I do not care if they have aged a day. If you want to keep a recurring character young and beautiful/handsome by all means go for it. Though your population might be freaked out when the leader isn't getting any older. In case of Democracies [I Standalone] It's advised to change your President/Prime Minister every now and then.
