Geography:
Located in the North, Nogalia is a medium-size country with a large variety of landscapes. Its large sea shores inlcude placid beaches and ice-covered regions. Its mainland is crossed by several mountains and valleys, covered by woods. The southern part of the country is mostly flat, with warmer temperatures. Weather is cold, with snow in winter. Most northern Nogalia is covered by ice during the year. Rain is regular.

The Kingdom od Nogalia´s mainland is in contact with other countries by the south, west and east.
Nogalia´s territory also includes some islands, among which Foggy, Upper Hill and Salutation are the largest. Those islands are included among the "Nogalian Overseas Territories"
Administrative Divisions
The kingdom of Nogalia is politically and administratively organized as follows:
Nogalia, plus its neighbours territories of Svilland, the overseas territories and the Nogalian dependencies constitute the Kingdom itself. Nogalia is the largest country, where most of the armed forces are located as well as The Crown. Nogalian territory is usually divided into "northern, central and southern" areas.
Svilland is a large territory which responds to the Nogalian Crown for governmet, but it keeps some powers in order to maintain an autonomous government. Its defense depends on Nogalia´s armed forces, and is usually included into the "Southern" military district. Svilland is a large place, almost as large as Nogalia, but it´s barely populated.
Nogalian overseas territories, as well as Nogalian dependencies, are islands and lands located abroad, under control of the Crown. Its main difference is that Nogalian Overseas territories have a local government elected by the people, but dependencies don´t.
All the territories included in the Kingdom of Nogalia rely on Nogalia for its defense and foreign representation, and pay a tribute to the Crown.
Finally, the Commonwealth of Nogalia is formed by the Kingdom of Nogalia and its former colonies, which keep the Nogalian Queen as their Head of State.
Economy
Nogalia´s economy il lead by Information Technology industry, followed by Machinery and Automobile Manufacturing. Very significant parts of our economy are integrated by Banking, Mining, Steel, Shipbuilding, Energy, Agriculture, and other industries and services.
Defense plays a key role in our industry.
Language:
English mostly.
Spanish is also spoken, and antique Nogalian is used as a written language in official texts
National Holydays:
- January the 6th: Independence day: the date Nogalia decided be an independent nation.
- June 1st: Victory day. Althoug it conmemorates and celebate Nogalia´s first military victory, that took place in 1990 after a quick war against a neighbour, todays is used to conmemorate all military victories.

Queen Maddeleinne is an popular monarch, who represenets the ideal of civilization and dignity that is expected from the Crown. HRH is a relative of the former Queen, and after finnishing her military service she obtained a degree in Structural Engineering.
She has a very active sport life.
The Queen lives in the Royal Palace, located at Fort Walnut.
The Government
The Head of Goverment is the Prime Minister (CoP)
Election of the Prime Minister:
The prime Minister is elected by the people of Nogalia among candidates presented by the three more important parties in our country: Conservative Party (CoP), Liberal Party (LoP), and Practical Party (PoP). Although people are free to form their own parties, only the 3 with the largest number of members are allowed to present a candidate for Prime Minister.
Once a candidtae is elected, he is appointed by Her Majesty, who can not reject it since he (or she) is the resoult of the people´s will.

The Prime Minister is the Head of the Governemt, and he is charge of what may be considered the excecutive branch of the governmet.
The legislative branch is formed by the Parliament, where Nogalians are represented by candidates elected by district. They elaborated and vote laws, which are enacted by Her Majesty. The Queen can not reject any law passed by the Parliament. Nogalian Parliament consist in one house.
The Judiciary is formed by the Supreme Court and the rest of the courts. Justices are selected by and independent committee, and its decissions can not be overturned. Justices remain in their offices for 5 years, and must re-apply to keep their jobs, based on their performance. People can also vote for or against a candidate.
Everybody is subject to Nogalia´s laws, even the Queen.
