Can you beat a Dorsetian Hoplite?

Well, I have been inspired by all the deadliest Warrior based threads, including New Emprica's, Conservative Mortality's and my own. Yet I fail to see any ancient matchs so I think I'll give it a shot. Rules:

No metals better than Steel
Nothing better than a crossbow
It will be 5 on 5 for those of you who have warriors who would never be found alone(also how many times have you seen a knight on foot by himself with every single weapon available to him?)
No gun powder weapons(emphasis on this)

Armor: Most do not have any, but usually they tie thin metal sheets to their chests and wear cooking pots as helmets.

X-Factor: They may be weak and untrained, but they want to fight desperately.

Name: Prole Street Gang
Training: No organized training. However, each member has survived a life on the streets of the Prole Slums of one of Skorzenia's vast cities. They have survived the chemical spills and toxic runoff from the Fraternity's factories (sometimes accidental, sometimes intentional, most often simply negligent), the occassional purges by the Army, sweeps by police, and the predations of other prole gangs. By forming their own small gangs, they claim a small slice of the slums to lord over and dominate themselves.
Armor: Usually none. Sometimes patchwork suits jury-rigged from scrap metal.
Short Range Weapon: Machetes and other crude farming tools, improvised weapons from urban debris.
Mid Range Weapon: Thrown rocks, homemade slings.
Long Range Weapon: None.
Special Weapon: Improvised incendiary/explosive weapons (molotov cocktails and the like).
X-Factor: Tough, vicious bastards who survive the intense overcrowding, grinding poverty, and crushing oppression of Skorzenia's slums by preying on their fellow man.

Armor: brigidine (composite steel and leather plates jointed to allow maximum manuverability and maximum cover, with multiply layers of silk underneath (to stop penetrating arrows)
Short Range Weapon: katana (and bare hands of course)
Mid Range Weapon: 10m Jumonji yari spear
Long Range Weapon: spung steel compound bow with 200lb draw strength firing steel shafted foilcloth arrows (designed to penetrate plate mail) with barbed shafts to prevent easy removal. and tipped with arious poisons to debilitate those struck.
Special Weapon: various small items such as shureken and caltrops to disable or disorientate the target, poison powder and other such items.
X-Factor: can fight mounted on horse back or on foot. usually sit in an ambush position with large shields for cover while raining arrows down on their enemy grabbing the shields to provide cover from counter attacks. when the enemy closes they switch to the Jumonji yari forcing the enemy to remain at a distance. should teh enemy manage to break past the spear they switch to their katanas in which they have exceptional training but are trained to use everything they can to their advantage.

Moose Warrior

Training:
Every Moose Warrior had already been an infantry man for nearly 4 years, and a knight for atleast 2. By the time they'd become a Moose Warrior, they'd seen 6 years of bloodshed and warfare. In addition, they are tought a martial art similar to pankration, although more focused on maiming and killing the enemy.

Armor:
-Torso
A solid plate that is smithed to a fine, reflective angle on the front and a solid plate on the back. The plates are covered in 3 inch thick hardened moose hide. Underneath the plates, is regular chainmail.
-Legs
On each thigh is a solid plate smithed specifically to envelope the entire front thigh ofthat particular warrior. The back of the thigh is covered with a smaller plate. The knee is protected a small, circular plate covering the kneecap. The front half of the shin is covered in a plate similar to the thigh plate, but extends to the ankle. The calf is covered by a plate similar to the back thigh. Under the leg armor, is chainmail. Above the armor, is 2 inch thick hardened moose hide.
-Feet
The front of the foot is protected by a solid iron plate that interconnects with the plate protecting the back of the foot leading to the heel. The heel is protected by a circular iron heel(think a boot heel). To protect the back of the foot, several very small interconnecting plates are used. The top of the foot armor is covered in moose hide, but the bottom is covered in standard leather.
-Hands
The hands are protected by hardened leather gauntlets with a series of platemail rings covering the gauntlet.
-Arms
The top part of the forearm is protected by a singular iron plate. The bottom part of the foreamrm is protected by a smaller iron plate. In order to increase efficiency, the 2 plates are connected via a locking mechanism and chainmail strips. The bottom plate has a pointed piece that extends past the elbow to offer it protection. Under the arms is chainmail, above it is 2 inch thick hardened moose hide.
The bicep is protected by a singular iron plate, as is the back part of the upper arm. The 2 plates are connected via locking mechanism. The chainmail worn under the breatplate has slleves, so it also provides a layer under the arm armor. Of course, the moose hide also protects the arms.
-Shoulders
The entirety of the shoulders are protected by a circular iron plate that overlaps the arm plating.
-Helmet
The helmet is made of iron, and covers the whole head. In order to protect the eyes from arrows, iron screens are placed over them. Although this restricts visibility somewhat, it increases security. Inch thick moosehide also covers the helmet. In order to complete the helmet, moose antlers are attached the helmet. For the moosehide, it would be a moosehide vest-type thing, moosehide chaps, and a moosehide-covered iron helmet. Basically, the Moose Warriors looked like sasquatches with antlers.

Short Range Weapon:
Dodekackov( a short(2.5 feet) axe. What made it special was the blade was razor sharp and thin at one end, and grew thicker as it reached the other end(like a modern axe head). The wide side was used as a bludgeon, and had 4 large, solid iron studs. This focused the energy, and made it more deadly. In addition, the bladed end was tipped with obsidian the entire length(the entire bladed end had obsidian), which would splinter when it cut into something, causing further damage. Also, 3 skinny spikes were attached on each side of the bladed end, and were usually dipped in poison. The spikes(except where attached) ran parallel, and the tips poked out just beyond the blade of the axe. Also, the head of the axe is attached to the handle with a simple locking mechanism, and can be removed in less than a second. Once removed, the handle works as a bludgeoning club made of ashwood, hardened with beezwax, and had an iron strip going across the end. This handle also turned into a bladed weapon. On the other end of the handle(not the one the axe head attached to) was a small sheath. And once removed, unveiled a 4 inch blade. The blade is wavy in design, and also tipped with obsidian.

Mid Range Weapon:
Dorchckevzkov(A longsword with a 14"(35 cm) grip, 45" (100 cm) blade. 1 foot below the tip of the sword is a secondary blade, shaped like one used on a scythe. This was used to rip away shields, attacke men behind shields or corners, etc. The entire blade(including the secondary blade) is kept extremely sharp, and is was used to sever limbs, lop off heads, bludgeon, break bones, etc. In addition, the hand of the blade contained a small dagger, so if the blade was broken or snagged, the gagger could quickly be removed and used, The dagger itseld was nothing special. Just a normal iron dagger, with a blade about 4-5 inches long.)

Long Range Weapon:
Nzolipov(A large crossbow-type weapon, although it has some distinct differences. It vaguely looks and operates like a fishing pole. The bottom of it is a long(3.5 feet) wooden pole with half of a cylinderical iron pipe on top of the pole to keep the bolt in place. Near the back of it is a small locking mechanism that locks the bolt into place, that is attached to a large spool of twine. The twine is contained in a 'shell' and has a a lock-bolt and an opening, in case the twine brakes. On the side of the twine shell is a small turning mechanism that comes with a key-crank. Once the key crank has been inserted into the turning mechanism, you crank it to tighting the twine and reel in the bolt, making the range farther. Once it has been tightened sufficiently, the key-crank is removed and you can fire the bolt. Do to the size of the pole, the bolts are roughly 3/4 the size of a javelin, which means they can also be used as weapons themselves. Th eend of the pole is also bladed, allowing it to be used as a spear in emergency. In addition, the end(handle) is extended and made of ashwood, as well as hardened with beezwax, making it work as a club in tight situations.)

Special Weapon:
-Voloshaz( a small shield(only about 2.5 feet) made of solid armor. In addition to the iron, the front of the shield is covered in 2 inch thick, hardened moose hide for extra protection. In the very center of the shield is a 6 inch spike, designed for stabbing anyone who gets to close before a weapon can be drawn.

X-Factor:
-Options. Every weapon was designed to be used for more than one thing, making it multi-purpose.
-Layered armor scheme. 2 inch thick moose hide(which is extremely strong), followed by armor plating, followed by chainmail. Most arrows are stopped by the moose hide, most bolts are stopped by the armor plating. And anything managing to pierce both are usually stopped by the chainmail. Of course, that is assuming it isn't stopped by the shield first. All in all, the whole package keeps anything from touching the warrior inside.
-Due to all the armor, most fighting styles are rendered moot.

Backround:
The Moose Warriors started out as the elite bodyguards of Kazimir the Beheader: 5th century king of Rustonia. However, after famine and war ravaged a nearbye kingdom, immigrants flooded Rustonia. They quickly began to swarm the towns and villages, and murders, robbings, rapes, and general mayhen was caused by the immigrants.

In order to send a message, Kazimir ordered the borders closed, and half of the immigrants killed. In order to complete this task, the Moose Warriors were sent. They made quick work of the immigrant mobs, and the streets ran red with foreign blood. In order to bring an end to this bloodshed, the Sultan of the kingdom from which the immigrants came sent 2 delegates to Kazimir's palace.

As customary, the delegates were ordered to bow down to the idol of the Rustonian god: Tew. When they refused, several Moose Warriors subdued them. The flesh on the bottom of the delegate's feet was removed, and their hands were placed behind their back, and nailed together. Afterwards, several Moose Warriors marched them to the border, as if challenging the Sultan to retaliate.

Of course being a muslim, he did. He declared war on Rustonia, and marched his 30,000 man army to the border. But when they attemted to cross the Viol mountain range, they were met with 5,000 Moose Warriors. Over the course of several weeks, every onslaught by the enemy was stopped by the Moose Warriors using a mixture of better tactics, better training, better armor, better weapons, and a knowledge of the maountainous terrain. Once the Sultan's army had been thoroughly beaten back, the Moose Warriors opened up a path for the Rustonian army to invade. Because the Moose Warriors crushed the enemy forces, the Rustonian army was able to conquer the nation.

The Dorsetian Hoplite was moving into the woods. His gastrophates ready while his spear and shield was on his back. His steel armor was heavy but light enough for him to carry around all day.

The militiaman was wandering the woods. He was in search of a lone Dorsetian Hoplite on his way into the country. He had orders to stop or delay him as long as possible.

The militiaman spotted him he had a catapault set up for him so he retreated to it. He got the lone hoplite in his sights and fired the rocks. The rocks which were no bigger than a 3 inches wide came closer to the hoplite. The numerous rocks could easily kill the hoplite. The hoplite ducked behind his shield. The bronze stopping the rocks and protecting him. The Hoplite stood up, put the shield back on his back and grabbed the gastrophates and closed in further. When he got within shooting range he shot the bolt. The iron tip hit a tree near the militiaman and didn't even graze him. The militiaman took some rocks out of his satchel and then looked over to his spear by a tree. He chucked a rock at the Hoplite. The hoplite lifted the shield in front of his face and kept running towards him. Ther militiaman dodged the charging hoplite and ran to grab his spear. The hoplite turned and went to thrust with his spear. The iron tip missed and hit the catapault. The Hoplite went to pull out but the iron got caught and the spear tip just completly came off. The hoplite dropped his spear and took out his Dorsetian axe. The axe was designed to be able to stop swords as well as take away shields. Essentially the axe was a mini halberd only having a two and a half foot shaft.

The Dorsetian Hoplite charged at the militiaman who had by now grabbed his spear and his metal rod he would use to hit the hoplite. The hoplite charged again when the Militiaman thrusted with the spear. The spear completly bent on the Hoplite's shield and the hoplite went to chop with his axe, yet the axe got caught in wood. The amount of strength the hoplite puts in his weapons allways causes them to get stuck. His last weapon a shield was his best bet. The militiaman went to hit the hoplite with the rod. though it did not pentrate the hoplites armor, the amount of energy the militiaman put in the blow knocked the hoplite down. The metal rod wnet for another swing at the hoplite who put the shield over his body. The metal of the rod and the bronze shield made a loud clang giving the hoplite enough time to get up. He charged the militiaman and hit him with his shield as hard as he could. The Militiaman fell back. The hoplite now had time to grab his axe. He went over to the militiaman who had gotten up and hit him with the shield again. The militiaman fell. The militiaman who couldn't get up watched as the hoplite thrusted the spear part of the axe into the militiaman's throat. The militiaman gasped and died. The hoplite yelled in the air

Armor: Sloth Knight- Bronze scale mail hauberk, conical helmet. Retainers- breast and back plates, conical helmet, stiffened rawhide shield.
Short Range Weapon: Dao-like iron sword (all)
Mid Range Weapon: long spear (2 retainers)
Long Range Weapon: atlatl and sheaf of 7 javelins (Sloth Knight and 2 retainers)
Special Weapon: The Sloth Knight rides on the shoulders of a 16,000lb giand ground sloth with subcutaneous dermal ossicles
X-Factor: Giant ground sloths weigh as much as a bull elephant, can roll a glyptodon that weighs as much as a VW bug, and terrify horses even worse than war elephants do. The dermal ossicles are bones in the skin that function as natural armour. The Sloth Knights (Inuto nobles who can afford the upkeep on one of those monsters) ride on them the way other ancient peoples rode war elephants. Each Sloth Knight would typically come with about 20-25 armed retainers, but you specified a 5-man limit, so I will cut the numbers of retainers.

Another interesting battle might be a lone Sloth Knight against 5 of your Hoplites...
