Not only would that be extremely stupid, as the speuto (Sebytania's currency) is not tied to Sebytania's gold reserves but floats freely, but also very hard. How to commit theft on the Sebytanian Gold Reserve:

1) Locate a storage (they're pretty well hidden, mostly underground, and scattered around the country)
2) Locate an entrance (even more hidden, it may be through the sewer system, it may be via the elevator of a 5 star hotel, or something else)
3) Enter (armed guards, locked blast doors with codes changing every 6 hours, security cameras, tripwires, you name it)
4) Locate the gold (Sebytanian bunkers are generally built like mazes to make navigation difficult for those not supposed to be in, even more so for bunkers containing valuables)
