Commissioned for the government's defense in 2050, The Ministerial Flagship (MF-7701) is operated by an elite crew of the MOSDC and is used to convey its VIP passengers from one end of the galaxy to the other. The most advanced starship in the IFMO, and possibly in the JSA, The Ministerial Flagship is highly secretive for the sake of the Prime Minister's security when aboard. She is fitted with a variety of weapons and defensive systems, most of which are kept on an extremely restrictive basis. The project was a full nine years in the making. Due to the extensive development being put into it, The Ministerial Flagship is the single most expensive vessel in the MOSDC to date, topping the old Excalibur class carrier models. The exact price is, of course, restricted from public knowledge. According to a recent government poll, the production project was so secretive that about 90% of the workers assigned to the project, from various producers, had no idea what they were actually constructing. Many still do not know. Its most stunning features, by far, are its stealth systems. Installed in 2056, The Ministerial Flagship's stealth systems are some of the most advanced in the galaxy producing unbelievable amounts of power in order to absorb the ships signatures and hide it from hostile sensors. It is, to date, the largest Omegan vessel to be equipped with stealth systems. This great ship continues to operate in complete secrecy as the IFMO's most prized and honored military vessel.

General Training

The Magna Omega Stellar Defense Command or MOSDC is the mainstay of the IFMO's naval and exploration force. It is comprised of 21, 37 ship fleets with the capacity to defend the IFMO and her allies if need be. Most recruits join the MOSDC strait out of high school and, if training is completed, they agree to serve a 5 year term in the MOSDC (3 years for special circumstances). Basic training and courses are 4 years with many other years of non mandatory extra classes such as pilot training, advanced pilot training, advanced stellar cartography, officer's course, command course, battery 1, battery 2, martial arts, advanced engineering, propulsion, and much more. In order to become a senior officer the officer's course must be taken. Command courses are shorter but more rigorous for Captain training.

Personnel and Gear

General Training

The Intergalactic Shock Marine Corps or ISMC are the primary infantry fighting force for the IFMO and, like the MOSDC, requires a 5 year term of service. The training, however, is mostly combat related with an 9 month basic training course. Other extra programs offer more like advanced mathimatics, engineering, ordinance disposal, jump school, sniper school, officers course, platoon leader program, advanced physics, scientific theory, martial arts, and more. The ISMC also has the Sentinel branch which is a biotic usage special training program to help train biotics in using their powers with combat effectiveness. They are equipped with advanced Tech armor with improved kinetic barriers and defensive capabilities. The armor is still light enough to allow sufficient biotic usage by the wearer.

The Advanced Bio-Mechanical Infantry Corps or ABMIC is an elite group of super soldiers bred for war. While 80% of their bodies are mechanical , especially their AI brains, the other 20% is still syntheticly produced organic parts. These bio-mechanically engineered soldiers are top secret and their whereabouts and operations are kept quite low. Little is known about them other than they are 8 feet tall, abnormally strong, and can perform missions that no other soldier can do, even the ISMC.

Notable Decommissioned Military Vessels

Marus class cruiser
Image

General Statistics:
Size: 1 km long
Purpose: general purpose military light cruiser with combat capability
Armament: 1 primary MAC gun, 2 secondary MAC guns, 4 ID27 missile firing stations, 4 standard torpedo tubes
Crew Compliment: 832
Power plant: LSP-553 FTL engine with AX-37 power plant stabilizer systems producing 993,000,000 Hyperwatts of energy thrust
Additional power systems: 2 Dg-28P integrated energy systems with merging plasma conduits and aft sensory networking hardware
IFMO service length: 13 years
Production price: 12,234,000,000 Credits
History:
The historical Marus class cruiser was the first warship to ever serve with the MOSDC. Six years before the creation of the MOSDC, the Stellar Military Board, a branch of the senate at the time, began production of the IFMO's first stellar warship. In 2012, with the creation of the MOSDC and ISMC, the military took over production efforts and finished the first five of the Marus class cruisers in August of the same year. The cruiser took its distinguished name from the Marus shipyards, over New Omega, that produced almost all of these cruisers. Back in the early days of stellar production, the Federation's reasoning behind the christening of vessels was quite simple. The pride of the fleet, the Marus class took on a flagship role before the production of the dreadnoughts and carriers of today.

The Marus class cruiser performed exceptionally to fit the needs of the time. Its large drives enabled it to meet FTL speeds better, faster, and more efficiently then any other starship in the IFMO at the time. Its small crew compliment of just 832 was a problem, however. With a plethora of new and advanced systems consuming the vessel, little space could be made for expanded crew quarters and stations. Its crew capacity barely exceeded that of a modern day Omegan frigate.

Still, the vessel performed admirably on patrols across the vast Omegan frontier, often ferrying hundreds of thousands passengers from the old Earth country in Sol to the new stellar territories in the Titus Verge, an eight and a half month journey at best. Convoyes and smaller patrols were frequently accompanied by the mighty Marus class cruisers as a show of force to the few outsiders that took notice of the tiny Federation. The Marus class was capital in expanding the horizons of the Federation, in her early years of stellar expansion and development.

Unfortunately, the Marus cruiser failed to keep up with the times and all vessels were officially decommissioned by the MOSDC on March 5th, 2025, without a single one ever seeing combat. It was soon replaced by the highly advanced and modernized Olympus class cruiser, which would continue to earn fame throughout the Kray war, just three years later. Still, the Marus class is a favorite amongst military enthusiasts and the old breed of MOSDC veterans. It is a prized showpiece and a marvel for those who are fortunate enough to see one in person. Out of the 17 Marus class cruisers ever made, just 6 remain intact, only two of which are in fully operational condition. It still remains one of the rarest historical star vessels in the IFMO.

Nesius class frigate
Image

General Statistics:
Size: .5 km long
Purpose: standard combat and patrol frigate
Armament: 1 primary MAC gun, 2 secondary MAC guns, 2 ID19 missile firing stations, 4 standard torpedo tubes
Crew Compliment: 477
Power plant: LSP-477 FTL engine with AVR-327 power plant stabilizer systems producing 981,000,000 Hyperwatts of energy thrust
Additional power systems: Integrated energy feed systems, E-141 plasma coolant systems, ELR8 primary feed, ELR7 secondary sub-feed
IFMO service length: 13 years
Production price: 10,921,700,000 Credits
History:
The brainchild of Fleet Admiral Robert Nesius, the Nesius class frigate was officially commissioned in December of 2012, along side its companion, the Marus class cruiser. The Nesius class was the second warship to serve in the MOSDC and was thrust into service with the MOSDC's blessings. Though quite small, in comparison to the Marus, the Nesius class frigate packed a punch and was rugged. She proved to be an essential component in stellar naval operations and was a marvel for her time.

The Nesius class earned her reputation as a frequent escort for long range supply runs throughout the western sectors of the Delta Quadrant. It integrated the newest systems into a tightly compacted vessel. With a operation crew of just 477, the frigate class still exceeded the short term expectations of the Admiralty Board. In 2018, Clichank Industrial Corp, stationed on New Omega, designed new forward MAC guns designated "FCF-12". The first and only ship to equip the prototypical guns, the Nesius class ushered in a new era for onboard ship weaponry. The advanced design for the MAC guns exceeded anything that the Federation had at the time. Within ten years, far more advanced variants would begin to take shape and would be placed on newer generation craft just in time for the Kray War, in 2028.

The Nesius class frigate, like its Marus class brother, did not see any military action and, thus, never fired a single shot in anger. Still, the frigate played a useful role in the ever growing Federation's history and would change the outlook on technological warfare forever. In December, 2025, the Nesius class cruiser was decommissioned to make way for the coming finantial strains of the new Excalibur class carriers. It outlived the Marus class by just a few months. Out of the 20 Nesius class frigates ever produced, 15 remain intact, 13 of which are operational. Despite its relatively uneventful service record, the Nesius class frigate was one of the many prides of the MOSDC in its early days and is always prized amongst those who served aboard these famed frigates.

Neo class dreadnought
Image

General Statistics:
Size: 3.0 km long
Purpose: combat dreadnought and flagship unit
Armamant: 2 primary MAC guns, 8 secondary MAC guns, 1 MRG, 10 SBM missile launchers, 5 torpedo tubes
Crew Compliment: 5,220
Power plant: LB-142 FTL drive producing 997,974,267 hyperwatts of thrust energy (early version), MKI TLT-53 mass effect core producing 2,344,865,236,285 Promans of thrust. (later version)
Additional power systems: GH-26373(H) power reserve drive, backup energy systems, AI remodulation core, external reaction network (ERN)
IFMO service length: 20 years
Production price: 10,654,345,000
History:
The dedicated Neo class dreadnought was officially commissioned in 2027, just in time for the Kray War. It was touched up with the most advanced combat features that had ever been placed on any previous Omegan warship class. The Neo class was pressed into service at the Kray invasion of New Omega. The dreadnought soon proved to be a vital asset as the Federation's first dreadnought type warship. The highly produceable vessels helped greatly in beating back the Kray assault at Macedon and provided support for the liberation of the New Omega colony.

Throughout its remarkable service, the Neo class dreadnought deployed to various theaters such as the Second Bug War and the Hyperborian War. The ability to produce in mass quantities and easy maintenance of this vessel was only matched by the cheaper Olympus class cruiser.

The Neo class saw more upgrades than any other Omegan dreadnought class and was refitted with the best equipment the MOSDC had to offer. Through its last months in service, all Neo class vessels had their drives replaced by the new and more efficient MkI mass effect cores, after element zero's discovery on Cyras. This action is considered, by many historians, a waste of money due to the class's deccommissioning in October of the same year, 2047.

Despite its bitter ending, the Neo class vessels' legacies remain as the predecessor of the more cost effective New Rome class dreadnought, its replacement. With just under 60 Neo class types ever produced, nearly half were recreated into their replacements or smelted down for scrap metal. Still, many were reincarnated as valiant museums, which stand the test of time in dedication to the brave vessels and their crews.

Excalibur class star carrier
Image

General Statistics:
Size: 3.2 km long
Purpose: Carrier, flagship, Advanced Command Combat Vessel (ACCV)
Armament: 2 primary MAC guns, 6 secondary MAC guns, 4 MRGs, 3 ARCs, 15 SBM launchers, 20 torpedo tubes, 12 MAC defense turrets
Crew Compliment: 12,360
Power plant: MkII carrier class mass effect core producing 18,475,881,923,478 Promans of eezo energy and thrust
Additional power systems: Integrated power and eezo energy uplink systems, plasmatic enduser relay junctions (PERJ), primary and secondary feed systems with backup storage for energy consumption and secondary usage
IFMO service length: 21 years
Production price: 39,921,700,000 Credits
History:
One of the greatest vessels in Omegan military history, the Excalibur class star carrier was commissioned on the 4th of June, 2027. Being the Federation's first star carrier and the flagship of the MOSDC, it proved to be resilient in the many trials ahead. Its MOSDC board designers sought out a true flagship, one that could match those of their Imperial Combine allies at the time. By the time the carrier plan was approved, production for the awesome vessel had already begun. Soon, throughout the summer of 2027, production rates soared. The Excalibur class integrated the latest combat systems and shared many defining atributes along side its co-commissioned cruiser partner, the Olympus class, which was commissioned just months later. The Excalibur would become one of the the most expensive starship classes in Omegan history, costing nearly 40 billion credits per vessel.

Due to the economic strains of the time, the carrier units, and the acquisition of newer technologies, caused prices to soar, in early years. Still, it earned its fearsome reputation in the years to come, beginning with the Kray War, in 2028. After the Kray invasion of New Omega, the few Excalibur class carriers in the Titus Verge were forced to go against an opposing force far stronger than their own. Still, they proved their usefulness and unmatched strength at the battle of Macedon. With the Kray fleet repelled, they continued their relentless assault to liberate occupied New Omega. By the end of the war, the Excalibur class was hailed as the savior of the war against the Kray.

The Excalibur class would continue to serve, undergoing constant upgrades throughout its vast service. From the Second Bug conflict to the New Christ Incident, the carrier played an enormous role in the defense of Magna Omega and the JSA as a whole. Defensive upgrades came along with the adoption of an element zero core, shortly after the discovery of element zero on Cyras. These new eezo cores greatly improved the effectiveness of every starship in the IFMO and and rewrote the history of the IFMO forever.

By 2047, the Hyperborian Kahnate has invaded the Alpha and Beta quadrants in a violent expansionist effort. With a massive allied coalition already responding, JSA nations far and wide declared war. The forward combat fleets of the MOSDC were some of the first responders to the growing conflict and the Hyperborian aggression. The Excalibur class carrier would lead the JSA's fleets throughout the brief but bloody conflict with destination. At war's end, the Hyperborian steamroller was disabled and a neutral zone boarder was established around the neutral territories as per the Gal Mali Accords. Throughout its last years of service, the Excalibur class star carrier would play a vital role in holding the Omegan fortifications at the boarder.

In 2049, with the MOSDC's massive military reformation projects, the Excalibur class was decommissioned and replaced by the modernized Adamant class star carrier. Nearly 60% of the older Excalibur vessels would be converted into Adamant class ships throughout the course of its production. The remainder would either be scrapped or retained for historical purposes.

47 Excalibur class carriers were constructed in one of the most expensive and brazen projects in MOSDC history. The Excalibur class star carrier is set for the history books as one of the greatest Omegan space vessels of all time.

History:
The Exomax F-897 Spiker launched its first flight in the Fall of 2022. After an extensive overhaul, Exomax Industries designated it the Spiker with the intention of selling it at their intergalactic storefront. Unfortunately for Exomax, high IFMO international sales restrictions outlawed the commercial distribution of such an advanced fighter to the international community. Still, not all hope was lost for Exomax. With the MOSDC desperately in need of a viable service fighter, a deal was cut with ease. MOSDC would pay double for all F-897s and allow the growing company to continue sales of their legal items. With that, an "X" was added to the fighter marking its variant type for military usage. It remains, to date, the only IFMO starfighter to have retained its original variant type throughout service.

Soon, the impressive Spiker grew in upgrades and popularity, frequently seen at military demonstrations across the small Federation. Finally, the F-897 was pushed into service at the start of the Kray War in March of 2028. With the Kray invasion of Omegan space, many more than the original 2,819 were needed.

The MOSDC soon began mass production programs for the little fighter as she served valiantly throughout the dark days of the bloody Kray Conflict. By the time the Kray attack was repelled, the Spiker had racked up an astounding combat record. All in all, the F-897X claimed 189 Kray fighter kills and conducted nearly 80 ground sorties at the liberation of New Omega. By war's end, the Spiker numbered at around 5,800 active service craft with just 82 lost in combat.

Throughout the next few years, Exomax Industries, with great funding from the MOSDC, spewed out thousands more fighters from their factories. Come the Hyperborian War, the Spiker was at it again serving well during the brief but bloody conflict claiming an unknown dozens more Kahnate fighters in the process.

The next decades brought an era of greater production of an Omegan space vessel then the Federation had ever seen. The massive production efforts came with great improvements while still retaining the starfighters basic design and role. It served extremely well during the Malaklan War and Operation: Relentless Justice. At Relentless Justices, over the moon of Jayeefa, the fighters deployed in one of the most intense dogfights that they have yet experienced. Throughout the course of the operation to secure the Kray Pirate base, 31 Spikers were lost at a cost of 62 Kray fighters and the aided destruction of a Kray Degorah class carrier. The successful operation was a tribute to the unmatched skill of the F-897.

The Malaklan War presented the fighter class with a brief but costly challenge. The skirmishes above Alpha 1 and Ehan 12 cost the 83rd fighter group exactly 20 fighters. Still, victory was attained through the sheer might and technological prowess of the IFMO and her military force.

With later years coming to a close, the MOSDC soon found it hard to keep up with its increasing technological demands for an improved design. Soon, the NorthTech-Esterion F-2303C Dagger began to take the place of the old Spiker. By the summer of 2054, the Spiker's decommission was in the works throughout the Admiralty Board and by 2056 (present year - Omegan calendar) the Spiker was officially decommissioned as an Omegan service fighter. Within weeks, the fighter would be put up for sale on the interstellar JSA market. Exactly 12,105 were produced with only 133 ever lost in combat. Extremely reliable and combat capable, the F-897X Spiker (renamed the X-100 Barracuda for resale) is to be the hallmark of the IFMO's military production effort in the eyes of all who served.

Granted, but you stay in gerbil form for too long and can't change back. You are then put in your father's rectum during one of your parent's "kinky nights"

You can all remember me for my lack of dyingness.
