Government Policy:
Please briefly describe the structure of the government in your country:
Complex system of Soviets and Congresses of Soviets on District and National Levels. Intensely Federal, the national Congress of Soviets (Nakonsov) exersizing little power without the support of the District Congresses (Diskonsovs) and Local Soviets.
Please briefly describe the economic structure in your country:
National Abundance Economy. Economically isolated autarkic non-monetarist system, focusing on the needs of the people, rather than restrictions of profit.
Please briefly describe the status of Queers - including intersex and transgendered people - in your country:
In a legal level; The individual differences of residents of Immortallia are of no concern to the Nakonsov, nor the Diskonsovs, nor the Local Soviets, except where those differences relate to their productive abilities, economic desires, social desires and requirements for a full and contented life.
In a cultural level; After years in our fruitful abundance, almost all prejudices have withered away, having been mostly economically motivated in their original inceptions. And futhermore, due to the almost complete lack of religious institutions, old irrational prejudices are nearly unheard of.
What is your Government's Stances on...
Ideology
Ideology itself:* Ideology is a fact of life. Literally every individual has an ideology. And those that claim otherwise are the most ideological of all! So fixed in their ideology that they even deny it's existance in motivating their thoughts, rather claiming themselves to be 'realists' or othersuch nonsense.
Republicanism: In the philosophical sense or the modern US definition? For the former: Rule of Law is an inevitability of State power. Expressing an opinion on the reality of this divorsed from it's real basis is naive. For the latter: "A conservative is a man who will not look at the new moon out of respect for that "ancient institution" the old one." ~ Douglas Jerrold
Liberalism: A Ideology that promotes economic fascism, giving rise more often than not to a very real political fascim. A regressive Ideology.
Socialism: *The basic requirement for the maintainence of Capitalism, as they are slowly realising, and not a long term progressive ideology.
Fascism: Capitalism in decay.
Religion:* An emotional crutch for those who require it.
Economics
Capitalism: A revolutionary doctrine, destroying all irrational bonds between humans and replacing them with pure egotistical calculation, however, Capitalism promotes an incredibly restrictive monetary based system as it's regulator, not only at great human cost but at great cost to the forces of production, inhibited by the flow of capital.
Socialism: As a general economic system of re-organising the economy on Need not Greed it's success or failiure hinges on a single point. That of the monetary system. If the monetary system continues to exist, then capitalism will take over, as the most effective exploiter of that system. If it is on the other hand abolished, then 'Socialism' could flourish.
Social Issues
The Environment: New Immortallia is strongly 'environmentalist', recycling all waste, organic and otherwise, and using only renewable techniques for everything part of life.
Women: Same as men. (taking into account small biological differences)
Ethnic Minorities: i.e. 100% of the population. We tend to like other humans!
Unemployment: As a concept: A degenerative evil, spawing criminality and the abuse of civil liberties. Economically: Doesn't exist within Immortallia.
Foreign Affairs
Nuclear Weapons: Reluctant possessor.
Military Intervention: Depends on how the People in the Local Soviets vote. Immortallian psephologists have noted however increasingly interventionist overtones in modern voting patterns.
