Our society is a post-gender society, with a high degree of androgeny. The citizens are rather asexual, though all forms of gender and sexuality are not frowned upon. There is no need for femnism because sex does not affect one's status within the society in any way. Most of the non-genetic biological differences between men and women have disappeared, and since machines have replaced humans in manual labor, there is no reason for jobs that require masculine workers.

One could say our entire society has been femnized, in the sense that our government has systematically eliminated "alpha males" through selective breeding and disfavor of charisma-driven "leadership". Assertive males are no longer required for our government or economy, as the elimination of capitalism and its replacement with a technocratic thermodynamic economy has fostered a system of cooperation in all of our social projects, a trait that is traditionally (outside of the Federation) considered "feminine".

The Adrian Empire has never found feminism, necessary, women have been able to earn their citizenship and thusly vote and even run for political office since the founding of the Empire in 446 AD, though the were earlier barred from serving alongside men (only serving as nurses, and in a few rare cases all-female equite squadrons), this was rectified in 1971 when women were first allowed to serve along side men.

Feminism is particularly wanted in the Empire, though most women are homemakers, those that choose to go into work are not barred from excelling the very top of their fields and industries. And though men make the majority in work-places women are paid the exact same wages for most jobs, and are just slightly under-represented in Universities (43/57).
To most Adrian women, homemaking just makes good economic sense, should their husband ever lose his job, they will both be able to look for employment, and living on the savings of one income is immeasurably easier then living on one income where there was once two, further it keeps purchasing power reasonable. Adrian Homemakers are not just women either, men may choose to do so, though uncommon, simply put the dynamic of one member of the couple taking care of the home and the other out at work just makes sense. Adrian Women aren't only taking care of the home after all, they also manage community groups, organize charities and do important shopping making sure to spend time on getting the highest quality products affordable.

In short, feminism is all but rejected here, because we are happy with current circumstance
