3. History
Pan-Freeland has been inhabited by native peoples for thousands of years. Many tribes populated the area. In 1706 The island on witch Pan-Freeland Is on was colonized by the British. The British fought many wars against the native peoples.
In 1900 feeling oppressed the citizenry of Pan-Freeland entered a 3 year revolutionary war against the British. In 1903 the war was won but at the cost of 100000 Pan-Freeland citizens. From 1903 to 1958 Pan-Freeland was a regular white capitalist country of the era. However in 1958 this all changed with a massive race riot in the capital city Capatilia. Over the years Pan-Freeland had built up a significant communist population coming from the race riots and the class inequality. In 1960 after massive public outcry on the race relations and class struggle in Pan-Freeland
53% of the eligibly citizenry voted in a communist president. For 5 years he was President. In 1965 congress voted to amend the constitution(again) and he went from president to dictator. For the next 10 years the country was ruled as the Peoples Republic of communist Freeland. This nation suffered supply shortages corrupt government and sanctions. In 1975 a massive revolution happened and the dictator was overthrown at the expense of over 300000 men. After the overthrow A new government was installed under the premise of libertarianism and limited government. For the next decade massive economic liberalization occurred as western countries used Pan-Freeland for a source of cheap labor. In 1985 though the situation Improved still half the populace lived in shacks and in some cases corporations owned slaves. In 1985 the libertarian party was voted out and replaced by the democratic socialist party. Massive reforms were initiated welfare, public education, etc, etc, and these policies worked. In 2009 The Southern Province Revolted because the population felt the federal government had gotten to powerful. As a counter measure the Government Launched a nuclear strike,
An massive international response occurred, along with an invasion by Libertarian Governance. Since then the government has downsized,
and a coalition of Conservatives and Libertarians now rule, Provinces now have greater Rights.
4. Military
The Federal Military is organized into the Pan-Freeland Defense force. There exist three types of defense organizations in Pan-Freeland:
The Pan-Freeland Defense Force(Federal)
Provincial Reserve Defense force(Provincial)
Community Guard(Local a joint military-police project)
Citizen Militias
In Pan-Freeland All males between ages 18-26 are required to report for 3 months national service.

5. Government and Political Structure
Pan-Freeland is a Democracy.
The Head of state is the president, he has the most power in all areas
The head of government is the Prime minister, She generally runs the internal workings of the country
There are Two Functioning houses of parliament and another 2 ceremonial ones
The 1st house is made up of two members from every province
the 2nd house is made up of 1 member for every district
A bill needs 51% vote to pass in parliament
A constitutional Amendment requires a 3/4 vote to pass
An Impeachment Requires a 7/10 vote to pass
For A Referendum to be held a bill requires 500000 signatures
If it is proposed by the citizenry, it is also voted on by the citizenry
for a referendum to be passed(depending on what kind) it requires at least a 51% vote of the registered population.
Pan-Freeland has a supreme court that rules on the constitutionality of things.
Judges are elected directly.
The Length of a term for president is 5 years, A maximum of 3 terms are allowed.
