Geography

- Area: 3,673,321 mi²

- Comparative Size: Relatively the size, not shape, of the United States (Does Not Include Colonies)

- Coastline Length: 1,465,412 km²

- Maritime Claims: Sea of Inabi, directly on the coast of Inabi

- Terrain: The northern area of Inabi is a relatively mountainous region. It has a steep, rugged landscape that rarely exceeds the height of 1,200 meters.

The interior of Inabi is more level, having many rivers flow through it. It is an area of extensive and fertile plains that provide excellent agricultural land.

The southern area of Inabi is a hilly country with broad flood plains. It is also the only part of Inabi that is next to a large body of water, correctly named the Sea of Inabi.

To the east of Inabi is mostly dry land. The one large desert that exists in Inabi lies in the eastern region.

The western part of Inabi is a mixture of terrain features. It also has extensive plains that provide agricultural land. The famous forests on Inabi used to lie here, before the mining companies were granted permission to cut them down to get the uranium that was below it.

- Climate: Inabi has a humid, monsoonal climate. The mean temperature in the winter is generally below freezing. Summer in Inabi is hot, with most of the country having a mean temperature in the summer of 25 degrees C. The range of temperature of the coldest and hottest months in the capital of Inabi, Jakar, is about 28.1 degrees C. The range is far greater in the north and interior of the country then it is along the south, where the coastline is.

- Elevation Extremes:
Sea of Inabi - 0 m above sea level.
Jeku Si - 2185 m above sea level.

- Natural Resources:

    - Uranium
    - Iron
    - Steel
    - Copper
    - Rubber
    - Fish
    - Silver
    - Spices
    - Wheat
    - Deer
    - Coal

- Land Use: Most of the land is used for agriculture, however, some parts of Inabi have been subject to deforestation for mining. The land that hasn't been deforested or used for agriculture are made into settlements that grow into suburbs, cities, etc.

- Irrigated Land: Areas that do not have a natural source of water of their own, such as the eastern part of Inabi, is irrigated. The irrigation comes solely from the rivers that flow through the center of Inabi.

- Natural Hazards: Due to Inabi's many rivers and flood plains, the center and southern part of Inabi are subject to floods during the monsoon season. There have been cases of Tsunamis hitting major cities in the southern part of Inabi, but none that created massive amounts of damage. Luckily, there are no active volcanoes in Inabi.

- Environmental Issues: After the industrialization of Inabi, pollution has been on the rise. After the discovery of uranium in the country, nuclear power plants have been popping up around the nation as well. Those plants will consequentially create nuclear waste, and the nation still hasn't found a reasonable way to dispose of the waste. The mass deforestation has also caused some species of animals in Inabi to become endangered.

- Environmental Agreements:

The Waste Removal Act: Drawn up to figure out a suitable way of removing nuclear waste from the nuclear power plants without shutting them down completely. It was decided that the nuclear waste would be pumped into underground tankers, which will be stored until they can be sent to the massive complex that will convert the waste into glass.

The Tree Hugger Act [REPEALED]: Drawn up to create laws to prevent the mass deforestation that was occurring in the western region of Inabi. It was decided that there would be restrictions to how much the mining company could cut down, and there would be set regions to where they could actually mine. Several areas of the rain forest have been given the status of National Landmark, protecting them from any sort of deforestation.

History

- Opression, Revolution, and Formation (1700s - 1781):

The President of the Republic of Sameria was not a benevolent one. The crushing tax rates made even the most essential products almost impossible to obtain. Public executions regularly took place by firing squad, and mass genocides were not a secret. This, however, only happened in the poorer districts of Sameria. It was as if there was a massive line between the poor districts and the rich districts. Obviously, life in the richer districts was much better then the poorer districts. Finally, a man that was only to be named Lord Protector would not stand to take this anymore. People flocked to his charismatic presence, and took up arms for him. They began to wage guerrilla warfare against the military of the Republic of Sameria. They named themselves, "Dragons of Inabi," named after the district the Lord Protector was born in and the dragon as a symbol of power.

It was not hard war to fight, the population was almost completely in the favor of the rebels. Picking small skirmishes against the military of Sameria, they took down large numbers of troops while losing very little of their own. It was a perfect time to rebel, Sameria had just gotten itself out of a war that it was sorely losing, it's military was in a terrible condition. More and more people flocked to the Dragons of Inabi, while the military of Sameria grew less and less. Finally, after the bribery of several key political officials, an assassination took place of the President of Sameria. Consequentially, anarchy began. The Dragons of Inabi had to fight long and hard against several gangs that were popping up, and during one of the battles, the Lord Protector took a hard knock in the head. This rendered him psychologically unstable. However, the Dragons of Inabi were loyal, and kept the Lord Protector as their leader. Finally, the Dragons of Inabi were able to make a country of their own, securing many provinces that was once part of Sameria. The Republic of Sameria was in no condition to fight back against Inabi.

The psychologically unstable Lord Protector summoned up the bribed political figures and some of his friends from the Dragons of Inabi to draw up a government. They debated about several forms of governments, and numbered five possible types. The Lord Protector I was the deciding vote, and he chose the third one, a Dominion. A man shot up in protest, but the Lord Protector I took out his pistol and shot the man dead. This is a completely reasonable act, of course, the Dominion of Inabi need not any traitors. The friends of the Lord Protector and political figures were given their positions, the economy was set in place, the Dragons of Inabi became the military of Inabi, and the fledging nation of Inabi took its first steps.

- Lord Protector I Period/First Steps Period (1781 - 1801)

The new Dominion of Inabi, as a fledgling nation, was not particularly stable. Pretenders were popping up all over, each claiming after one another that they were the true, rightful leader of the Dominion of Inabi and the Lord Protector was denying them of this right. Thankfully, the Inabian military didn't even need to mobilize, the pretenders starting going after one another and eventually just wiped each other out. Even when they escaped, the Inabian army rounded them up and executed them after a brief imprisonment. These pretenders didn't pose to be the only problem, however. The economy was in shambles after the revolution. They had no official trade partners to deal with, and not many nations recognized them as sovereign at the time. People were often finding themselves out on the street, without a job or a home.

Lord Protector I, after recovering from his psychological instability, soon realized that there needed to be a massive economic overhaul, one that would turn the tide of the disparity that was spreading over the nation. He implemented several plans in order to revitalize the economy. The war had ruined several portions of the land that the Inabians had taken from the Samerians, so the Lord Protector created jobs to help repair the damage that had occurred. The capital was still just a random city that was picked out by the Lord Protector after the separation, so the Lord Protector created even more jobs to help construct several buildings for the government. However, construction wasn't the only job that was made.

Soon after, it was made mandatory for educational facilities everywhere to let students enroll without paying funds. This made the tax increase slightly, but nothing that caused permanent damage. The tax was used to fund this program, an investment that payed off in the future. As the work and education began to take its toll, the Dominion of Inabi was starting to look like a more like a nation should look during the time period. Most of the new students were eventually graduating, going on to levels of high education. These students would then later become the doctors, educators, and such of the Dominion of Inabi. Of course, this did make the manual labor pool drop, but after the majesty of the Dominion of Inabi spread to Sameria, immigrants began to flood in.

With Lord Protector I feeling satisfied with his work, the last few years of his reign were peaceful and prosperous. He had single-handedly revitalized the economic system of Inabi, allowing money to flood in and be invested in other parts of the government. He had given children the opportunity to learn and become the specialists needed to help the Dominion of Inabi running. He had made Inabi a better looking, more modern place. The date of his death, April 9th, 1801; was a very sad day indeed. After taking power at the age of thirty-two, he died at the age of fifty-two of heart attack. He left behind a legacy worthy of the people.

    Accomplishments

  • Revitalizing the Inabian Economy
  • Bringing forth a public education
  • Modernizing Inabian architecture

    Government and Political Structure

    - Country Name: The Lord Protector's State of Inabi

    - Government Type: The Lord Protector's State of Inabi is one ruled by the Lord Protector. He is the single most one with most of the power in the government, however, due to recent changes in the country's policies, elected officials have started to gain more power.

    - WA Definition: Capitalist Paradise

    - The Position of the Lord Protector: The Lord Protector is the sole leader of the Dominion of Inabi, however, the position is surrounded in mystery. The Lord Protector revokes his/her name after being put into the position of the Lord Protector, and all history before taking power (with an exception of the Lord Protector I) of the Lord Protector is removed. The Lord Protector's face is often concealed by a mask, or their entire body surrounded by shrouds of cloth. Due to this, the gender of the Lord Protector can only be determined by the sound of their voice. It is questioned by a vast number of the population, political figures, and historians if the lineage of the Lord Protector is one dictated by one royal family. Due to the fact of having to information about their past, it is quite possible that the Lord Protector's throughout the ages were all part of different families, each taking power when they thought the time was right. Many politicians below the rank of High Advisor think that the Lord Protector is only a figurehead for the populace to admire, and that the High Advisors are the real power behind the government, but such suspicions are dismissed by the Inabian KOTO, and therefore, these politicians keep their opinions to themselves on the matter.

    - Capital City: Jakar, Inabi

    - Major Cities:

    - Administrative Divisions: Inabi is separated into 26 provinces, all named after the capital city.

    - Date of Independence: December 17th, 1781

    - National Holidays:

January 8th - Lord Protector's Birthday (Celebrated in honor of the Lord Protector's Birthday)

February 14th - Religious Recognition Day (Celebrated for the founding of the Holy Office of Inquisition)

April 30th - Green Crustacean Day (Celebrated in honor of the national animal)

August 4th - Military Day (Celebrated in honor of the Inabian military)

November 7th - Honor the Fallen Day (Celebrated in honor of troops KIA)

December 17th - Founding Day (Celebrated in honor of the founding of Inabi)

    - Legal system: The legal system of Inabi follows Common law. In other words, the law is developed by judges and through decisions made in courts. There are at least one court in every minor city, and one major one in the province capitals. The highest court of Inabi is the Holy Office of Inquisition. Any court cases brought up to the Holy Office of Inquisition will often end in a ruling where one person is burned at the stake for heresy, or another form of execution. It is often said that the legal system of Inabi is choked and corrupt, but such statements are often suppressed by the Inabi KOTA.

    - Suffrage: The Lord Protector is the highest ruler of them all. He appoints most of the ministers, and officials, but the people have started to gain the right to suffrage after several protests for their own rights.

    - Political Positions:

Lord Protector (Position of all Power): Lord Protector (Name is renounced)
1st High Advisor (Most Trusted Advisor): Go Sagye
2nd High Advisor (Trusted Advisor): Du-Ho Lee
THKL(In Charge of the Judicial System): Li Zhengji
TEO (In Charge of all Religious Affairs): Hyun Ki Kim

    Education

    Funding for Education
The Inabian government gives little to no funding to education, spending a vast majority of their budget on other things they consider more important. So, the ones that wish to gain an education must pay for themselves. In an economically booming nation like Inabi, this is normally not a problem, however, this leaves families in poverty having to send their children to factory, farming, or other jobs straight away.

    Basic Educational System:

      - Preschool Education: Ages 0-4
      - Elementary School Education: Ages 5-12
      - Junior High School Education: Ages 13-15
      - High School Education: Ages 16-18

Post Secondary-Education: Students usually apply for colleges after the end of their final year in High School. Students have the option on deciding on a college earlier, or going through the regular admission with the College Scholastics Ability Test. Most of the years the students spend during their High School Education, other than their electives, are based solely around the three categories of the test. The Korean Language/Reading, Writing, and Math. This test can only be taken once a year, and those who score poorly or want a better score take another year to study for the test.

Top Inabian Public Higher Education Institutes:

      - Jakar National University
      - Nara National University
      - LPIAST (Lord Protector's Institute for Advanced Science and Technology)
      - Orai University
      - University of Jakar

Vocational Education: After a Junior High School education, students have the option to partake in a Vocational High School rather than a normal High School. Most Vocational High Schools offer the subjects of business/commerce, agriculture, home economics, technology/engineering, and maritime/fishery.

    Literacy:

      Total Population: 93.7%
      Male: 95%
      Female: 92.4%

Compulsory Military Education: Every citizen of the Dominion of Inabi is subject to yearly military training in the case that they are called up to serve their nation. Children as young as twelve are trained in basic military drills, but it is clearly stated that these children would never be forced to fight for Inabi unless in the most extreme of circumstances. The military training is not divided between male or female, although most of the female are herded to become nurses and/or field medics. The only people that are able to get out of this compulsory military education are government officials, members of the Lord Protector's family, and those who are able to give a hefty donation for the betterment of Inabi.
