The idea of Mickey Chang using any kind of weapon is hilarious. What would he use a weapon for?

Mr. Chang is the epitome of the principle that the pen is mightier than the sword. He might offer you autographed copies of his novels, The Geese in Winter and The Geese Remain but he probably wouldn't know what a gun was if he saw one.

-- Capt. Kono, Parliamentary Chaplain

P.S. I have been informed that Mr. Chang has retired and has been replaced as Prime Minister by former Foreign Minister Harlan Escrow. While Mr. Escrow is not exactly a man of letters, he shares Mr. Chang's disdain for weapons. The question is still: What on earth would a Fatatatutian civilian need a weapon for?

Empress Taunja is the wielder of the Sword of Imperium, also known as Terminus Est but the blade has not been a true weapon in a long time, the last known battle in which it was carried being the Siege of Eringrad, in the Ixolian Wars, some two centuries ago.

King Randolph the Third, also known as Randolph the Wicked, carried it as a morale boosting symbol, hoping the spirit of its first wielder, the mighty Queen Zelda the First, would protect him. It did not, and he was dragged from his horse and cut to pieces. The sword was lost for a long, long time, finally being unearthed in a goatherd's pasture.

Well, I carry a CR-3 Pistol, I try to keep in practice with it, but I've never had occasion to use it. My esteemed Colleague Faustus carries around a MDR, it's a nice little revolver, he says he's had it since he was in the army, which probably hints that he's used it once or twice, what with his classified record. I know that several other Senators carry various sidearms, a few prefer knives for God knows what reason, and one carries a modern gladius replica with his toga, a complete contradiction, but he's yet to be attacked by some mugger in a dark street, so I suppose it serves it's purpose.

Lets see...

Gun ownership is illegal. The King is a citizen of the Kingdom, so he's subject to the laws of said Kingdom. Therefore, he does not own a gun.

However he does own a dog. A 5'2" harlequin Great Dane named Tiny.

OOC: Take your time when you make a post. It's no rush... And please condsider the use of words over text. It is much nicer to read words than see a few images taken from google.

IC:

The High King Conrad the IV does not carry a weapon on him, for the most part. During Formal ceremonies and events, Conrad the IV has upon him the saber used by King Alexsander the II.

The King, who was in the Royal Imperial Marine Corps of Vinstin, does enjoy a personally collection of firearms which he uses at the range. For the most part, these weapons are either historical firearms, military grade firearms, shotguns used for hunting, or merely firearms the King has collected.

But Conrad the IV has not used a weapon in his own defense since his time in the Corps, so there is little reason to call them weapons, and more ‘firearms for recreational use.’

Your leader,s weapon.

My Lord, what has happened to people these days? Have you ever thought that his nation leader is also a citizen? Much like how a Prime Minster is a citizen, or even a King like myself? I dread to think what will become of the world.

Unlike the vast majority of Sharadans, the Administrator uses his sharp wits as his chief weapon, as intellect is valued over some rote martial skill. However, the Administration is issued a simple handgun if they do not have one already.

The Chrisman Union's leader, President Christian Veldt, is an ex-soldier and is quite proficient when it comes to weapons. However, serving in the Northern Chenkovian theatre has made him an ardent pacifist, and thus he does not own any working weapons personally. That said, he still owns a Torakev TT pistol, and old battlefield trophy, though is unlikely that the weapon still functions.

When Pappa carries any weapons, Pappa is well liked by Grittonians and thus does not fear for his life besides, Grittonians often wear weapons to protect themselfs and others, he carries only one weapon which is a Ares Folding Machine Gun which Pappa likes for it's small size.

However, Pappa also has the black belt in Karate and thus his hands are also weapons of destruction but also bringers of pleasure and joy.

my leader has full control over the countries military forces. why bother carrying a gold plated AK47. when you got to date 11,100,000 man military services under your thumb.

Other than the .50 "War Pistol" that the Grand Commander carries visibly, he carries the following weapons in concealed holsters and the like...

Image

Four of them.

Image

I know I used PMG, but I always use PMG to get a general idea of guns before I make them in paint.NET. He carries both of them.

Image

Like every soldier/sailor/law enforcement officer in the GWO, the Grand Commander carries a KM2000 knife in a special boot-mounted holster.

Image

Occasionally he'll also carry a spring-loaded sleeve knife...

Unless those 11,100,000 soldiers follow him everywhere he goes and even watch him piss, there's still a substantial security risk. Hell, having so many bodyguards is in itself a security risk- someone could just join the military and kill him.

I seem to recall meeting Pappa Nick at a party a while back when he was wearing a little gold revolver on a chain around his neck. Was that just an ornament?
