[Huswyae]

In 1555, the British discovered Huswyae. They claimed the East and Germany nabbed the west before the British could do more work. The UK was all like "Meh" because the western part included what is today Western Borders and W. Borders is known across the country as the nation's shithole.

On the 12th February 1772, to avoid tensions like the ones happening to America, the UK gave Huswyae its independence. The tribes that had once been oppressed could finally be free and their language evolved rather quickly to what is today Huswyaen, mainly because most of what makes Huswyaen the language it is had already come about then. Germany kept their claim on Huswyae though.

This language evolution and high populace had lead to what is still happening now, called the "Lacrott Growth". Since the River Lacrott (Lacrott literally means "Long River") area was rich in resources which rushed it's way south, the southern part of Huswyae became densely populated and evolved with modern times. Lacrott City is a prime example, as it is still exponentially growing to this day. Lacrott City was the largest settlement in British Huswyae and so when it became independent, Lacrott City became our capital, and still is today.

The city of Erdes suffered a battle the British won against the Spanish. Cestin became the main way in and out of Huswyae.

Skip the uneventful times to Word War 1. Germany lowt, so part of the Treaty of Versailles was to give Western Huswyae to the UK. The UK, almost done with empires, merged West Huswyae with already independent Huswyae on 12th February 1920. Huswyae had remained neutral for all of the rest of the 20th century's wars.

In 1992, the Libertas Tower Attacks happened. These attacks were carried out by Grimeloidian military officials who opposed Huswyae's Embargo on G-A. The attack replayed itself in 9/11 in New York, USA. 10,000 died in the Libertas Attacks, 6,000 of which were in the Libertas Tower, including our leader, Prime Minister Bruno Smithton. The Embargo on G-A has since ended but the citizens of the two nations have made it clear that they aren't greatly fans of each other.

In 2007, Josuba Ladiro of the liberals came to power. He tried to criminalise the right wing, and abused human rights in the name of Liberalism. He was arrested in what is known as the Ladiro Scandal. The liberals split into Libertarian Capita (whose full name is the Libertarian Capitalism Party for a United and Better Huswyae), a right wing Libertarian Party, and the Social Democratic Party (whose full name is the Social Democratic Socialist Libertarian Party against Liberalism). Libertarian Capita has ruled ever since and the idea of having the liberal party ever run again terrifies a Huswyaen shitless.

Huswyae allied with the Intergalactic Universe Corporation under Katherine Hedlock's rule, and has allowed Huswyae to recover fully from the Ladiro Scandal.

They later land on the Versilian coast, and set up cities all across the isles. They have become the first Versilians. The Dov explain they were sent by the Great Old One, Kremvh. The Versilians adopt Kremvh as their god.
The Versilians keep to themselves and do nothing except evolve their culture, art, species, and technology. The Dov later disappear. Tensions rise amongst the Versilians, causing a war to break out between the citystates. Shaakhij later wins the war, and the Lawdreys become the Royal family of all Versilians. They go back to isolation, with occasional trade and exploration to nearby landmasses. Then WWI happens; we don't care. WWII happens, Japan invades us; we don't care and send them back. We slowly emerge as best super power. We take over USA, Turkey, Syria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Israel, we improve their standards of living, and install fully secular governments. We later leave and let them do their own thing. We colonise Mars, and the Moon. We gain Alvion. We plan to join with Japan.

Adainia and another western nation somehow come out alright and unscathed. The west and especially Adainia have de facto global authority by the end of the war.

Before Welsh and Icelandic emigrants settled on Bridgewood back in the 14th century, the island was populated by stags and seals. Villages were established by the settlers which lead to battles between the Welsh and the Icelandic. Unfortunately the Icelandic lost and were forced into slavery. Then the English came along and forced the Welsh to get off island and to go back to Wales leading to Bridgewood becoming apart of Britain. In 1834, after centuries of abuse by the English, the Icelandic slaves revolted against the British rule and so the Kingdom of Bridgewood was established under the rule of King Donald I, an elected monarch. He became monarch after leading the revolt against the British. Now the Icelandic and Welsh were the majority, and the English the minority. Bridgewood was neutral during WW1 however was on the allied side during WW2. Approximately 2,210 Briwoodians died during WW2. We also fought in the Korean War which we fought against the Communist state of North Korea. In 2003, Queen Cathrine Williams was coronated and became the first Briwoodian female monarch. Due to this, Queen Catherine I and Queen Elizabeth II formed a mutual and diplomatic friendship. In 2015 7 people were killed after an ISIS fanatic went on a shooting spree in the capital city of Bridgewood, Alryne killing 7 and injuring 9 other people. The man, named Kamel-Al-Bahri, sentenced to lifetime imprisonment.

The first known inhabitants of Elykyellek were the Irhc, who first settled in northern parts of the island in about 2,000 BCE. The Irhc are believed to be descendants of those who crossed the Bering land bridge. Later inhabitants include the people of the Reh and Pots cultures, who settled in southern and central parts of the island in about 300 CE. The Reh and Pots are believed to be descendants of Austronesian peoples.

Norse vikings from Scandinavia landed on the northern coast of the island in about 1000 CE. What followed was 200 years of wars between the Norse, Irhc, Reh and Pots, which is known as the "Viking Invasion." By 1238 the Norse had conquered much of the island and Norse King Ragnvaldr forced the other rulers of the island, Reh King Nanco, Pots King Tela and Irhc Queen Ihtri, to sign the Treaty of Lund which unified the island under Norse control. King Ragnvaldr also took Queen Ihtri as his wife and they became the first rulers of the unified Kingdom of Elykyellek.

During the reign of King Helgi (1277-1328) the Acts of Inclusion were enacted. The Acts of Inclusion were created as a way to make the kingdom less divided and encouraged migration, commerce, and intermarrying between the Norse, Irhc, Pots and Reh. It was during this time that King Helgi tasked Jorgen Axelsson to explore Elykyellek and create a new language and religion. Axelsson traveled across the island for nearly fourteen years studying, learning and gathering stories from the people. The results of Axelsson‘s works were adopted as the Yellekan religion and language, both of which borrowed heavily from all four of the people’s cultures and languages. Over the next couple hundred years the Kingdom became a melting pot as the people and cultures of the Norse, Irhc, Reh and Pots merged.

In the early 1600s colonists from England, France and Spain arrived in Elykyellek. Throughout the 17th century the European colonies expanded their territories through a series of wars with the Kingdom of Elykyellek. In 1699 the Kingdom fell and the island was split into three territories: English Elykyellek, French Elykyellek and Spanish Elykyellek. As a result of the Seven Years' War (1754-1763), which pitted the English against the French and the Spanish, English Elykyellek greatly expanded it's territory.

The beginning of the 19th century saw radical social and political upheaval in the territories. Native Yellekans sought the return of the Kingdom of Elykyellek. While many colonist wanted to be free of European rule. These sentiments increased as the Napoleonic Wars spread to Elykyellek. In 1809, The French seized control of Spanish Elykyellek. On June 11, 1811 the Elykyellek Declaration of Independence was signed and the Yellekan Revolution began. The war ended in 1816 with the recognition of independence from both the United Kingdom and France. The Elykyellek Constitution was adopted on April 19, 1819 which officially formed the Republic of Elykyellek.

The "Progressive Era" began in the 1890s as large scale demonstrations were held across Elykyellek. Some topics of the day included political corruption, worker's rights, health, education, food standards, consumer protection and conservation. Famed author and composer Sigurd Stevenson became a figurehead for the Progressive Movement and was elected President in 1900. During Stevenson's presidency there were many significant government and societal reforms, including the expansion of the National Offices. Sigurd Stevenson is considered by many to be Elykellek's greatest President.

Elykyellek remained neutral during the First World War. During World War II, Japanese air raids over western cities of Elykyellek caused the nation to join the side of the Allies. After the war Elykyellek joined the United Nations. The "Bloom Years" is a catch-all term applied to the arts, fashion and cultural scene that flourished in Elykyellek in the 1950s and 1960s. The economic prosperity of the the 1950s and 1960s were followed by a major recession in the 1970s. The economy gradually recovered throughout the 1980s.

much of Ru's earliest history is shrouded in mythology but basically about 3,000 years ago, Ru started as a single but large ancient city (now known as Old Ru) eventually after many years through numerous military conquests extended its borders to pretty much their current configuration. The various conquered kings and leaders became lords in a feudalistic system under the "King of Ru" which was the Rel dynasty that continues to exist to this day.

Slavery was extremely prevalent all throughout ancient and feudal Ru before reforms in the Faith of Cael caused a fundamental change in the religion including the Faith's strong opposition to slavery and causing it throw its support behind what was a small gladiator led slave revolt. When the young King Conan joined up withe the Faith it kicked off one of Ru's largest civil wars eventually leading to victory for loyalist forces and the abolishment of Ruvian slavery.

Many years later as technology began to lead the empire to modernize a military coup led to the introduction of Ruvian democracy and an end to the feudal nobility, as well as another large civil war. Today's Ru is much much more progressive and peaceful then it's long and violent past.

Unfortunately, the evil capitalists assassinated him in the 1990s, but he miraculously rose to the heavens and began to rule from above. Since then, His Supreme Divinity has delegated power to his descendants, Kimmjong Il and Kimjong Unn.

Northeast Fadriotho is, according to most accounts, the birthplace of modern humans. Fadriotho also serves as a cradle of civilization, and has been home to an ancient civilization which has thrived by the Congo River and the African Great Lakes region. For much of its early history, Fadriotho was split into many city-states, which stretched from the southern outskirts of the Gulf of Guinea to the Zanzibari Archipelago in the east. These city-states were involved in a series of complicated diplomatic relations with each other. During the European Age of Discovery, these city-states banded together in a loose confederation to protect against the Europeans. This confederacy, the Fadriodense Confederacy, was then incorporated to the Fadriodense-Sicilian Empire, and the Italo-Fadriothoan Diarchy in 1877 after the formation of Italy. It then gained independence just before the collapse of the Italian Kingdom in 1946, as a directorate.

The beginnings of the Queendom can be traced back to 1716 when the Prophetess Paloma began her teachings of the Diyosan religion. Over the next several years, the Prophetess traveled across New Spain and attracted thousands of devout followers, and established an army.

In 1723, amidst religious prosecution the Prophetess Paloma and her followers decided to leave New Spain and start a new nation. In July of 1723, they set sail across the Pacific Ocean to find a new home. On September 27, 1723 they landed on on uninhabited islands that are now known as "Islas Sagradas." The Prophetess Paloma, who was the High Priestess of the Diyosan Church, was named as the first Queen of Islas Sagradas.

Eventually the various settlements formed a sort of vaguely democratic council that ruled them over for a few years. Council eventually dissolved and was replaced by an absolute monarchy in the early 17th century.

Gandoor's territory grew over the next couple centuries as they took land that belonged to natives (either by force or by treaty). A constitution was enacted in the mid-1880's, making Gandoor a constitutional monarchy.

However, there was a non-violent revolution at the start of the 20th century that led to the abolishing of the monarchy and the modern day Democratic Republic of Gandoor was established in 1904 after a couple years of an interim government.

We were a dictatorship from 1940 -1951, when the leader of our nation during that period died. This was followed by a civil war, which was followed by a large economic crisis that lasted from the late 50's to the early 70's.

The point of divergence between the real world and alternate-reality began on July 12, 1995 when a state-owned collective enterprise called Baolei Solutions was established by Chen Baolei, who was an electronics engineer and computer programmer working for the Scientific Military Research Bureau. However, the geopolitical landscape of the world in the alternate-universe remains the same as in the real world until the aftermath of the September 11 attacks, when the entire world witnessed a traumatic and shocking event that forever changed the course of history. However, even before 9/11, Baolei Solutions had already began producing and selling smartphones in early 2001 to the domestic market in Zhouran and later expanding to the global market by early 2003. The smartphones produced by Baolei Solutions, created at a time where smartphones were still rare, featured large touchscreens for direct finger input as its main means of interaction instead of a stylus, keyboard, or keypad typical for smartphones at the time. As a result of this technological breakthrough, Baolei Solutions began to rise, which would have a major effect on not only the future of Zhouran, but also for the geopolitical landscape of the world.

Since its creation, Baolei Solutions has produced electronic and electrical appliances including televisions, calculators, refrigerators, air conditioners and washing machines, as well as semiconductors and mobile phones. Sales were initially poor as the company struggled with poor quality and inferior products, however on May 3, 1996, it was decided by Chen that the company needed to change strategy. The company shelved the production of its few under-selling product lines and instead pursued a process of designing and manufacturing components and investing in new technologies based on Chen's electronic research. In addition, Baolei Solutions outlined a 10-year plan to shrug off its image as a "cheap brand" and to challenge other electronics company in Zhouran and around the world as the world's largest consumer electronics manufacturer. It was hoped in this way Baolei Solutions would promote technological research and give a technological lead sometime in the future. This patient vertical integration strategy of manufacturing components has borne fruit for the company in the late 1990s.

On April 12, 2003, Baolei Solutions holds its first keynote address at Hexie, where Chen introduces his smartphones, as well as a new line of tablet computers, to the entire world. Because the keynote address had brought international attention, this brought the company into the global electronics market as millions worldwide become interested in acquiring the hi-tech products the company produced. By the start of 2004, not only did the company became the largest and most popular consumer brand worldwide, it also became the largest mobile-phone maker in the world. The rise of Baolei Solutions had in fact caused many Zhouranese people, especially the technologically-savvy youths, to embrace a new wave of Zhouranese nationalism, a wave that calls for a combined technocratic-stratocratic utopian society where pragmatic thinking, traditions and cultural virtues can be combined in order to create and maintain unity and prosperity.

On June 18, 2004, the entire world was hit by the Great Economic Crisis. A period of financial crisis that gripped much of the world and raised fears of a worldwide economic meltdown due to financial contagion, the economies of economic powerhouses such as the United States, China, Japan and the European Union did not recover, and as a result, once-economically strong nations began to lose their status as economic powers. However, for the People's Republic of Zhouran, the nation had only dipped into a short recession. The short duration and milder effect on its economy was credited to the active management by the government. In less than a year, the Zhouranese economy fully recovered and continued on its growth trajectory.

For the US, the economic crisis had a devastating effect. Because of the Great Economic Crisis, the US economy did not recover and was forced to withdraw all their troops from Asia and other overseas countries. Because of the absence of American military presence in Asia, the Zhouranese government saw this as an opportunity to expand their influence across the world in spite of US diplomatic protests.

On August 7, 2005, Chen Baolei had passed away from a heart attack while on a holiday in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Following the loss of its founder and genius, the company had quickly began to invest more heavily in research and development, investments that were pivotal in both pushing the company to the forefront of the global electronics industry and expanding the influence of the People's Republic of Zhouran. On January 26, 2007, during the 2007 Leadership Election, an alleged clandestine coalition of influential Kunbangist hardliners called the "Kaiming Beiguan" (Putonghua: 开明悲观) (also referred to as "Pessimistic Kunbangists" and "Kunbangist Aristocrats") had secretly taken control of the nation. At the same time, they also took control of Baolei Solutions and its assets, since they saw the company as the perfect tool for their hardline expansionist agenda.

After taking power, the Kaiming Beiguan had began investing on the research and development on hyper-advanced weaponry, which has placed them in conflict with the West and leading to an arms dispute and NATO's intel on highly-sophisticated Zhouranese military technology.

As the geopolitical situation around the world deteriorates following the wake of the Great Economic Crisis, Baolei Solutions had expanded into the defense industry in early November, 2009. As a result, the company had began producing hyper-advanced military technology, and by 2010, Zhouranese military technology was already decades ahead of what the West had. Because Baolei Solutions has a good reputation for producing hi-tech but cheap products, the company had brought the attention of the militaries of China, Russia and other nations who are interested in acquiring highly-sophisticated military equipment at a low price. To the Kaiming Beiguan, they saw this as the perfect opportunity to expand its path to expansionism, not through the use of military force, but through subtle means of using electronics to gain control of a nation's military. As years past by, China, Russia and other nations with an active military-industrial complex, began using electronic components from Baolei Solutions for their weapons and military equipment, while numerous nations became more reliant on the company while at the same time embracing it.

At the start of 2010, Zhouran had entered into a prosperous period of economic and technological growth. This is mainly influenced by Baolei Solutions, which has been playing a prominent role in Zhouran's digital and economic miracles amidst a rough financial era.

By 2011, Zhouran had contributed to keeping the economies of Asia and Africa from collapsing through economic support and cooperation. Not only that, the Zhouranese had helped rebuild and modernize Southeast Asia and Africa, which all had been hit hard from the economic downturn. By 2014, Zhouran had rose as the dominant economic and military superpower in the Asia-Pacific region. Because the US had earlier withdrawn its overseas military presence due to internal economic and social issues, the entire region was left defenseless against the Zhouranese expansion. Throughout the 2010s, the Zhouranese People's Army had participated in numerous peacekeeping operations in Africa and the Middle East, receiving praise by supporters and allies worldwide. As a result, the international image of Zhouran had improved greatly. The Zhouranese government had introduced its international peacekeeping program known as "Operation Forever Peace Worldwide" on September 25, 2013, and because of Zhouran's efforts, the nation was applauded by diplomats worldwide. However, in reality, the Kaiming Beiguan had used the peacekeeping operation to simply "win the hearts & minds" of the international community, and it fully worked with several nations being swayed by what many thought was a "massive Zhouranese humanitarian mission."

By 2016, several nations were already using Zhouranese electronic products, mainly from Baolei Solutions. The company had gained stronger ties with the Zhouranese government, and because of this along with the fact that numerous nations worldwide relied on Baolei Solutions, Zhouran had gained the ability to simply switch-off an entire nation and its military by a single press of a button. As civil unrest and violent conflicts become the norm in the 21st Century while conventional warfare starts to become obsolete, China, Russia and other numerous nations had all turned to Zhouran for increased investment in Zhouranese military technology, especially from Baolei Solutions, while at the same time increasing their military expenditures. However, this caused numerous nations to be greatly indebted to Zhouran and become overly-reliant on Zhouranese technology, especially that of Baolei Solutions.

On January 4, 2019, the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the Russian Armed Forces, and the militaries of every Southeast Asian and Central Asian states had been simply turned off. As a result, their military equipment became useless and their respective nations become vulnerable to any foreign or domestic attack. The Zhouranese had remotely deactivated the bulk of the Chinese, Russian, Southeast Asian and Central Asian militaries and almost all of their technology - all of which are Zhouranese-made hardware. On January 5 of the same year, the Zhouranese People's Army had been quickly deployed to China, Russia, Southeast Asia and Central Asia as part of a "humanitarian intervention operation", however by January 6, the People's Republic of Zhouran was replaced by the Greater Zhouranese Federation and each nation that had their militaries shut down became an autonomous region of the newly-formed superstate. This blatant annexation goes unimpeded as the United Nations stand helpless to intervene due to its member states having their own reliance on Zhouranese military and civilian technology.

Following its establishment, the Greater Zhouranese Federation had became a major almost-uncontested superpower. As years past by, the nation remains strong and united, however decades of brutal Zhouranese rule has led to the creation of numerous resistance cells all across the autonomous regions. As a result, a possible rebellion is brewing, which could possibly lead to the end of several decades of Zhouranese occupation, however this is yet to be known until a massive rebellion does take place.
