Foreign Embassy Program of the Sultanate of Isbana
Assalamu'alaykum, esteemed leaders of the world. May peace be upon you.
In order to strengthen diplomatic ties between Isbana and the international community, the Royal Government of Isbana has established a proper Foreign Embassy Program under the oversight from the Ministry of External Affairs. To nations willing to establish or further improve their relations with the Sultanate, you are most welcome to participate in our Program and open an embassy in Isbana.
The Isbanish Sultanate or the Sultanate of Isbana, simply known as Isbana, is an island state situated in southwestern Europe, approximately thirty kilometers off the coast of Iberia. It is a unitary state governed by an Islamic constitutional monarchy currently headed by His Majesty Sultan Ghabi Ar-Rahim VI. Isbana consists of two main landmasses and over a dozen smaller islands, known for its pristine beaches and mild Mediterranean climate. On these islands over 60 million Isbanans of many different cultures, languages, and ethnicities, live in peace and harmony.
Since the Sultanate's formal formation in 1861, Isbana has gained many allies yet also made enemies and rivals. In accordance to the Royal Act #76 regarding Isbana's Foreign Policy, the Isbanish Sultanate through its External Affairs Ministry will always aim to establish friendly relations with the nations of the world, for one country may not be able to stand on its own.
(Further information about our country could be found in Isbana's official Factbook here).
FInally, on behalf of His Majesty Sultan Ar-Rahim VI of Isbana, His Excellency Premier R.Adrian, and the people of Isbana, I am delighted to hereby announce that the Foreign Embassy Program of Isbana is officially OPEN.

Principal Rules and Rights of Represented States
From this point on, the term "represented state(s)" will be used to refer to the nation which wishes to/have established a diplomatic mission in Isbana.
Embassies will be located in various districts across Palmera, the proud capital city of Isbana and a major trading hub. Each represented state may have a maximum of sixteen (16) diplomatic staff and twelve (12) service staff, along with administrative staff and the Ambassador themselves.
Embassy security are provided by the Isbanish National Military Police, though represented states are allowed to provide no more than ten (10) security personnel of their own. Security personnel are not allowed to carry any of the following weapons under any circumstances:
Conventional Isbanish laws under normal circumstances are considered void inside foreign Embassy compounds, and laws of represented states are instead valid inside their respective chanceries. Isbanish authorities are not permitted to enter represented states' chanceries without the formal permission from the Ambassador of said represented state.
Ambassadors and ambassadorial officials of represented states are granted full diplomatic immunity, while Embassy staff may be granted partial diplomatic immunity while inside Isbanish territory. However, the Isbanish Sultanate has the authority to detain certain members of the Embassy staff should they are proven to have committed a major crime, e.g murder, with the approval of the represented state's government.
The External Affairs Ministry of Isbana, on behalf of the Royal Government of Isbana, has the right to accept and deny applications, with or without a formal reason.
Traditional Isbanish cultural conventions/practices
Isbanish women above the age of 17 are required by tradition to wear hijab covering their hair while they are outside of their homes. Although it is not a serious crime (if at all) for women to go outside without hijab, they would be frowned upon by most of the society. Though not required, women of the ambassadorial staff of represented states are suggested to wear a veil to cover most of their hair, and clothing that covers the entire body with the exception of their hands and feet, when traveling outside the represented state's chancery.
As we are a Muslim-majority country, both Isbanish law and traditions prohibits the use of recreational drugs and alcoholic beverages. Therefore, all drugs and beverages brought inside the chancery must be screened by the local police beforehand to ensure they comply with the law.
