In Rhodevus, Marijuana is decriminalized and partially legal. It is under the same rules as cigarettes, so that they are not allowed to be sold in most stores or have commercials/ads made about them.

How do people look at it? Most people consider it safer than tobacco and thus it is more common. Especially in the Red District.

Seen as "hippie" drug, danger for the youth or being considered acceptable or even part of your Cultural heritage? It used to be considered a hippie drug, but has since been deemed acceptable.

Decriminalized and partially legal, marijuana is taxed heavily, grown by licensed growers in Rhodevus and is pretty cheap to buy, all amounting into a large amount of profit for the Rhodeve government.

A bill to hold a national referendum on legalizing medical marijuana is currently making its way through parliament.

Cultural attitudes on marijuana usage are generally neutral. Most people who don't use it still aren't very opposed to it, and most of the existing laws that make marijuana use a felony are outdated and don't reflect current public opinion. The usage of marijuana in many rural communities is common and has been for a long time.

Federal law enforcement, and the provincial law enforcement agencies in most provinces, consider marijuana law enforcement an extremely low priority. Drug task forces are much more concerned with heroin distribution in the cities and the distribution of methamphetamine in rural communities.
