8. Transnational Disputes
Disputes - International: OpForce currently has several Maritime border disputes with Egypt, Sudan and Iran.
OpForce and Eritrea have had a history of conflict in relation to the Dahlak Archipelago; the two nations cannot agree on the sovereignty of the island territory and are therefore in a de-facto state of war, although no exchange of fire has ever occurred between both nations.
OpForce currently occupies a small portion western Somalia. OpForce claims that Somalia has failed to keep Somaliland secure, especially from radical extremist movements, which OpForce says is a threat to national security and has therefore had to take the initiative to secure its territories. The 20 mile thick occupation zone of Somaliland, next to OpForce's State of Djibouti, currently serves as a screen to defend it's border against illicit drug trafficking, piracy, extremism and most importantly terrorist organisations.

Illegal immigration from Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar has brought heroin, marijuana and various other substances into OpForce; mainly due to pressure or conditions by gangs and traffickers, immigrants are forces to act as drug mules when traveling to OpForce.
