Documentary - Heart of the Empire - Part 3 - The Imperial Ministry of Information

...After the First Astoli War, the Imperial Ministry of Information had tried various means to encourage reservists and pre-enlistees to sign up as regulars for the Imperial Defense Force. The posters produced are aimed primarily at invoking patriotism in Wolfeners to join in the fight against Amythyist. These efforts were done in order to train more specialized troops in the Imperial Defense Force in a shorter space of time which is otherwise difficult to accomplish with normal draftees.

Unfortunately, the success of this campaign is limited at best and recruitment rates remain fairly low. Given the relative peace brought by the armistice, it was natural for Wolfeners not to take up the offer in favour of more lucrative ventures. When this was brought up in a meeting between military and Ministry officials, one Orden colonel came up with a radical solution...

Women! Nothing drives men to do crazier things that with hot, pretty girls! We already have so many babes in the Order, so why not put them to good use?

Hence with great reluctance, the Ministry approved of the new plan, using the photgraphs secretly taken material given by the colonel.

Too big to fit

Things... did not go as planned. Although the new campaign itself was met with huge success, the poster blitz had to be put to a stop due to the severe lack of recruits with appropriate qualifications and fitness, as well as violent opposition from 'some' of female commanders involved. The commander in question did escape with only a reprimand from his lieutenant and a public apology. However, a week after the fiasco, he reported to office with a broken leg and arm, multiple bruises and a black eye among other injuries and staunchly claimed that he had a fall. Rumour has it that he was attacked by a mob of women in Orden uniform the night before - the same ones found in the posters...

One contributing factor as to why we are getting steamrolled. There is also an effective subversive group aiding the opposing forces, multiple defections by soldiers of all races, and just an inferior force. Much of the propaganda does suck, too. There are many, mostly moral and conscientious reasons for defections, but some soldiers have simply run over to enemy base camps partially because they have sat feed and wireless laptops with full satellite web connection and Hulu, while all the SUA soldiers in the field have for entertainment at base camp is grainy battery-powered televisions that only get one signal- a shitty show called "Doctor Creampie", which I'd rather not describe. The opposing forces treat prisoners well and take defectors with open arms, as well as being very free nations with vastly superior militaries, so they are often seen as far more appealing.

In fact, if we weren't concerned about the drastic shakeup of prices that would result in seizing your nation and its vast veins of molybdenum(which you foolishly call "tiberium," as if this common mineral had some mythical properties), we would be more than glad to give said hot showers to your populace, maybe by force.

This poster is one of the most effective. Mushroom soup on the left, turtle soup on the right, terrorist with spoon. If they win, you'll get eaten (never mind the poisonous mushrooms that live in TS).

TurtleShroom has a huge terrorist problem and recently went to war with them after the first NS Issue (choosing the option to accept the terrorist demands, resulting in the "government crippled under frequent terrorism"), and the second one ("seeking peaceful forum with terrorists"). Now, we're locked in, quote, "an expensive and bloody war to stamp out terrorists abroad" (NS Issue).

The terrorists fight the Republic because it contains animals and fungi that have sentience equal to that of humans, and because they have religion (like the Christian faith, for example), something that "lesser creatures" don't deserve. The humans in TurtleShroom are a minority, but some of them have support for this war, but not many. The turtles and mushrooms stand united in squashing the terrorist threat, but the humans... not so much.

Documentary - Tales in the Lost Territories

...as the First Astoli War escalated, the fight for the border provinces of Halkeginia became increasingly dire for the Amythysians as Wolfen imperial forces continued to break deep into Amythysian territory. In the light of the situation, the Amythysian military began a widespread propaganda campaign calling for all Amythysians to take up arms against the southern barbarians. The posters are printed in multiple languages, primarily both Ilyavian (Russian) and Britannian (English - the mother tongue of the Amythysian royal family).
