No religious paraphernalia is forbidden in the Rusyn state. Any symbols (amulets, rosaries etc), clothing articles etc are covered under the religious liberties promised to the Rusyn people by the State.

The Burqa is not banned. However, there is literally no Islamic faith in Cumberlanda. Mainly because we are on another planet.

The Burqa, like all clothing in Atlantica, is entirely legal, although both a low Muslim population and low rates of wearing Burqas among Atlantican Muslim women (although Atlantica technically has a state religion, Atlantica is not a very religious country) mean that the Burqa is extremely rare in Atlantica.

The Burqa is allowed and is even required for Muslim citizens. Sharia Law is enforced for Muslim citizens.

Ever since the Lacedaemonian Jihad, Burqas and the like have been banned, as they seem to promote the idealisms of Islamismós (ισλαμισμός).

Clothes were worn by humans, which have been our property since we invaded Earth about 200 years ago. Slaves - and therefore, humans - are banned from wearing any clothing at all in most places. The human cooling system relies on the evaporation of sweat in order to work, and any kind of clothing layer interferes with it. We will not sacrifice our livestock's natural cooling efficiency for silly cultural quirks.

When we use humans in environments that are truly too extreme for nudity, they all must wear whatever clothing has been approved by their overseers as adequate protection from the elements. These clothes are uniforms that are engineered to do the job. Covering the face is never allowed since inhibiting the slave's ability to see increases accidents and causes the owner to have to buy too many extra replacement slaves.

For us robots, clothes are so far out of the norm that they hardly need to be banned. Even so, there is a decree against adopting practices that would make us look stupid, and in practice, one of the things that it bans is the use of clothing. Paint and similar polymers are our proper outer coatings.

On top of all of that, burqas, niqab, hijab, and other such clothes are associated with a religion that is not Megatronism, and so are banned due to that as well. However, this was not a big consideration in our regulations about clothing. We invaded Earth, our biologists told us that human bodies use evaporative cooling and that their practice of wearing clothes interfered with that and made them work at less than 100% efficiency, and we responded by banning clothes. That was that.

There is no specific law on the banning of the burka itself, but it is currently banned in public under schedule 8 of the Public Safety Act as the burka covers the whole face. For this reason, full face masks that cover the wearer’s eyes are banned as well. An exception to this is full-face helmets, but only when worn in and on a vehicle. The burka and any other full face masks may be worn freely inside private premises.

Most moslem women in Forlini wear the hijab and only an extremely tiny portion of moslems wear the niqab publicly.

No, it's not banned. However forcing a woman to wear one against her will is illegal. However, in certain institutions and certain situations, burkas and head-wear must be taken off. For example, ID photo's, a court room, if an officer asks you, citizenship ceremony, testimony and personal verification,

The "Facial Consealment Protocol Law" is typically dubbed the "Burqa ban." The law makes it illegal to cover one face in public wether it be some sort of mask, a balaclava, or the Niqab (Burqas are rare to almost nonexistent here). While we are a predominantly Muslim nation this law has seen little in the way of opposition, Muslim women can wear any traditional head covering so long as it does not cover the face, same as with men.

Partially banned, due to the fact that you aren't allowed to cover your face in a way that it causes problems identificating you when needed. As such, it's banned in public buildings, public transport and on licenses. The population of muslims in Braberland is next to none though, and there's only one mosque in the capital.

The Vigilante Containment Act of 1939 prohibits people from wearing masks, capes and cowls, or any form of clothing meant to conceal the identity of the wearer. This is subject to local interpretation--e.g., eased for the celebration of festivities such as Halloween, occasional costume parties, etc., so anyone can dress up as Batman--one just cannot be Batman. In recent years this has been applied against law enforcement who use masks during raids, KKK members trying to hide their identities while marching in public, and the Unknown Comic when his source material bombed (figuratively speaking). Since the 1970s it has been enforced against burqas. Most recently (2013) it was ruled by the Admiralty Court that customs can keep out foreigners who refuse to be identified.

To be a citizen of any Canton of the Commonwealth, one must forsake any and all foreign allegiances, nor cling to or return to such. Allah and Mohammedanism (Islam) are considered a foreign allegiance. Thus a Muslim cannot be Narlandren, and a Narlander looses citizenship upon conversion to Islam. It is a Class III restricted ideology (-- a system of belief and practice that presents an intractable and irreconcilable conflict of interest against the concepts of Life, Liberty, and the Right to Freedom of Conscience that defines the common weal in general and Narlandishness in particular.) Muslims are encouraged to visit, convert to Humanism, Christianity, even Buddhism, but not to stay.

The Exceptionalists decreed that women must dress modestly, and they took the burqa as inspiration. Women had to wear "super-burqas" when in public, they not only covered every inch of skin, but they jutted out on top to hide the feminine form entirely. Incidentally, this made it very easy for women to smuggle stuff around.

When the Exceptionalists lost power, face-conceeling clothing was banned for both sexes.
