How are leftists treated in general: They are considered the "norm".

Are leftist thoughts legal in your nation: No, distribution of leftist propaganda is punishable by brainwashing, a technique where we cut the leftists head open and pour a mixture of bleach, ammonia, and isopropyl alcohol to cure said leftists of his or her violent and unnatural opinions.
How are leftists treated in general: Any and all anti-government opinions are banned within Ralkovia as being anti-patriotic, unnatural, and filthy ideas that will lead to large scale societal collapse.
What percentage of your population support leftist ideas: Because of Ralkovian policy there is no accurate number, but it is believed that some 30% of the population harbors at least some leftist ideals.

Are leftist thoughts legal in your nation: Yes, we do not banish thought crimes or advocacy for certain political beliefs. The problem is that you have to convinve people addicted to their iFruit phones and Vapid cars that capitalism is bad...
How are leftists treated in general: Not any differently, supported by some, mocked by others.
What percentage of your population support leftist ideas: Um....I guess we can go by the fact 72.9% of people voted democrat in the last election, but the Democrat party isn't really that left...

If applicable, what kind of leftist idea does the government follow (ie Stalinism, Socialism, Marxism, etc.): Social liberals currently control the government, though they will likely have to align their policies more with their social democratic allies in the next parliamentary session.

If applicable, what kind of leftist idea does the government follow (ie Stalinism, Socialism, Marxism, etc.): Somewhere inbetween Council Anarchy(better known as Direct Democracy) we may call ourselves a republic but the only government we have is a council taht controls the military and enforces law

How are leftists treated in general: Leftists are respected strongly in Siberia. Liberal Socialism is strong throughout Siberia and is really popular. Right Wingers only make up very small percentage of the population.

Is your nation leftist: Depends on how you define NARO's and by extension, AUA's policies. They do lean to the left (civic nationalism, social democratic policies, minority rights and endorsement of multiculturalism)
If applicable, what kind of leftist idea does the government follow (ie Stalinism, Socialism, Marxism, etc.): If social democracy counts as leftist then yeah.
Are leftist thoughts legal in your nation: Yes?
How are leftists treated in general: Idealistic and childish if they are left-left, so they are treated with slight mockery. If they are a NARO or YLA leftist they are generally seen as pragmatic, snobbish, champange socialists and treated with respect and satire.
What percentage of your population support leftist ideas: Not known, however, leftist political parties make up a fair portion of the AUA coalition.

Is your nation leftist: Depends how you define it. On the one hand, Geadland does have a large public sector, high taxes and liberal culture. On the other hand, the economic system is still fundamentally capitalist, and the current government is right-wing.

Are leftist thoughts legal in your nation: Yes, we have freedom of speech.
How are leftists treated in general: We generally don't think your political views should define you and dictate how you should live. The mainstream left is quite popular at the moment due to the lack of popularity of the national government. The hard left and far left are distrusted, but does have a dedicated following.
What percentage of your population support leftist ideas: In the last general election (June 2013), the Social Democratic and Labour Party took 29% of the vote, while other left-wing parties and candidates took about 8-9% of the vote. In the last two years, the percentage of votes supporting these parties has increased by about 5-7 percentage points in the polls.

The current government has been taking the country further to the left economically since it took office earlier this year after winning the parliamentary elections in March. Before that, successive center-right governments took the country in a more rightist economic direction since the mid 1970's. Before the 1970's, the country was solidly to the center-left economically and the current government is trying to get the economy back into a center-left position.

Also, there is a provision in the Brandenbourgish Constitution that allows the Justice Minister to take organizations to court to have them banned if they perpetrate or advocate violence against those who think differently than themselves.
How are leftists treated in general: Admired and supported by many, criticized by many - especially by people of the social "elite"/upper class.
What percentage of your population support leftist ideas: According to recent surveys, around 55 % of voters support social democratic or socialist economic policies, around 8 % support centrist economic policies, 16 % support moderate rightist (center-right) economic policies and 21 % support far-right economic policies.
