A Cold War did occur on our Earth and we sided with whom we have always sided, the Russian Empire over the British Empire. Our immediate neighbors, the Republics of Deseret and Texas were neutral in the Cold War, while the United States of Columbia formed their own smaller power bloc called the Third Way. The Republic of Mexico, our Sworn Enemy, sided with the British. The Cold War ended in the 1990s amidst thawing relations between Britain and Russia, it is also during this period that Columbia became the premier world power, though the 'old powers' retain importance in world affairs.

The term "Cold War" reminds Yannians of the 2002 price war of ice cream vendors. Early in the year, one of the country's major ice cream vendors decided to reduce the prices. This move was quickly followed by most other vendors, while some others sought to maintain their prices by improving quality, or increasing promotion. By the end of the tourist season, prices were back at the normal level, and several vendors, including the war's initiator, had gone bankrupt. Many Yannians expected another war the next year, but that never happened.

It would have been a neutral country, The Great Leader and his people hates/hated aspects of both country's. Soviet Union for being too communist, and the USA for not being capitalist enough and for their democracy. The Great Leader believes democracy to be a Socialist plot to end Capitalism and thinks the United States government is infiltrated with Socialim.

The Fourth Reich would have formed their own side of the Cold War, with it being a fascist pact of sorts fighting both the Warsaw Pact and what was left of NATO.

The Glorious Republic of Uruguay was formed from the people escaping the military dictatorship in Uruguay and other Latin American nations. These dictatorships were supported by the West, so the Glorious Republic of Uruguay sided with the USSR.

As Tegrad was part of the Soviet Union back then, obviously them. Although there were plenty of Tegradian freedom fighters (battling against the USSR for a democratic, less oppressive form of socialism) they most certainly wouldn't have sided with the capitalists due to massive ideological differences.

In our timeline, the Federal Republic of the Socialist Mexican States is currently allied to the Union of Operarian Socialist Republics, a state roughly corresponding to the USSR, but which follows the ideology of Shevchenkoism, an agrarian form of Communism which stresses the empowerment of the peasantry as well as the urban workers. Mexico's state is set along those lines as well, as promulgated in the 1913 Constitution, which placed all political power in the hands of the worker's councils and syndicates through the framework of a federal presidential republic.

Mexico would likely have numerous ideological disagreements with the USSR post-Stalin, but the Leninist state would probably have found an ally in us. In the Cold War of this world, we would most likely have been neutral, at best favouring the Eastern Bloc.

Despite what you might think, Reijekstan would probably join the Non-Aligned Movement. We are Communists, but we would like to do our own thing outside of Soviet influence. I guess you could compare us to Yugoslavia.

I would be neutral but depending on situations internationally, we would help the side that is the moral. But since both are mostly immoral by our people's beliefs we would aim to isolate ourselves, but also impose greater military presence in foreign territories.

YellowApple, Inc. was originally founded as an American corporation in the 1970's, so it did naturally side with NATO during the Cold War. In modern times, more than two centuries later, YellowApple, Inc. would continue to align ideologically with NATO, but generally prefers to be a neutral party in such conflicts, profiting off the ever-growing arms races.

Neutral due to being a nordic social economy, trade with the eastern bloc would occur. Though due to being a monarchy and differences in ideology, Sjealand would not support the soviets. We would most likely not be in the americans either as the USA would not be well liked

As a former British colony Petrolheadia has sided with the capitalists, although it also did import cheap products (mainly cars, electronics, appliances, furniture and food) from neighbouring communist countries.
