Introduction
Operating under the Imperial Aurician Bureau of Foreign Affairs, the Aurician Embassy Programme aims to develop closer ties with nations of the multiverse. The Intergalactic Empire is ruled by a Grand Emperor, who always wields absolute authority, but delegates legislative power to a Senate and Congress. Auricium has lasted for ages, seeing the rise and fall of many great Empires we are technologically advanced. Sometimes, this advancement creates great cultural disparity. For one, we lack toilets or a sewage system, simply because we don't need it. If your ambassadors or delegates are biologicals, and require instructions as to how to operate an Aurician "bathroom" we will be happy to provide instructions on waste disposal and hygiene in the Empire. Robotic civilizations will be provided with psionic repair stations instead of the normal psionic refreshers.
Note to the Modern Tech Nations:
Auricium is an intergalactic Empire. As such, the embassy will be located on Ecumenopolis Prime, most certainly a different planet, in a different galaxy, possibly even universe. We can provide transportation for free, as well as technological services.
Radio is not used in Auricium. It has been replaced with the Holonet, which is the hard-light/holographic equivalent of your interconnected computer networks. Anyone can use the Holonet, and create their own websites.
Ground Level on Auricium means ground level, i.e. the lowest levels of Ecumenopolis, utilised by the Military and Secretive Government Research. If you wish to interact with pedestrians, which we assume is what you mean by ground level, we can place you at a more suitable level. Every five levels is what is known as a pedestrian level, where pedestrians are able to walk around, and enjoy the city's many parks, galleries and artwork.
If you bring vehicles, note that they will be restricted to the ground level, and be essentially useless on Ecumenopolis. Streets, however, have multiple levels, and spaceship travelers should read the traffic laws of Auricium before continuing.
Basic Info:
- Ambassadors will be required to follow the laws and regulations of the Empire. By establishing an embassy here, you recognize the full authority that the Aurician Government wields over its territory and people. They are free to bring in their own vehicles, instead of using the Empire's extensive Mass Teleportation Network if they wish. Maintenance and other services will be provided, and bringing in outside maintenance is subject to approval. All of the traffic in the Empire is for leisure, and Auricium is willing to provide guides if Ambassadors need to navigate around the city-planet of Ecumenopolis. Most citizens get around through the use of the mass teleportation network. This will be included on every floor of each embassy building.
- Your embassy will be located in one of the various Imperial skyscrapers in the central district. The Embassy neighbourhood, as it is called, is also the area where your Ambassadors can live. The Empire will provide suitable accommodations based on your nation's size and technological level.
- High tech nations, such as ones which have achieved Tier 0 technologies, may be granted access to floating platforms above the city instead, if they wish. Current Allies and relations are also granted this privilege, regarded of technological level. In the case a floating platform is desired, Auricium will construct one to your specifications, following the architectural laws of the Empire.

- Nations that desire to partake in a Scientific Advancement Programme should indicate so in their application. Once an application is submitted, it will be reviewed for consistency and accuracy. You can expect to get a response in 0-5 business days, unless otherwise specified.
- Rejected applications will explain why the reasons why the application was rejected. You can submit another application, however, if the reasons are not rectified, it will ultimately be rejected again. Auricium will prioritise new applications over rejected ones, should the issue ever occur.
- Psionic organisms are asked to complete an Aurician Technology Training Course for Tier 5,4 and 3 nations.
Life in Auricium: Using Technology
This is because the technologies are psionically activated. Aurician computers and technologies consist of three parts: an extradimensional data-crystal, a manipulator, (input and output) and most importantly a user. Users can use their thoughts to control teh technology.
Auricians lack your liquid appliances such as toilets, showers and sinks. Also, residences and embassies do not have fridges, stoves, microwaves, toasters or conventional dishwashers. In your embassies and residences, you may wish to make it more like "home." To do this, first activate the Home Interface, which can be done through voice commands or by touching one of the appliances. Aurician technology uses hard light or holographic user interfaces. They will automatically be activated with a touch of the hand, and with the right devices, can be activated and controlled with thoughts. These devices are provided automatically, so that you can access the Holonet.
Your windows can be changed to display any setting you want. Simply activate the Home Interface by placing a hand on the window or accessing the Central User Interface. Use your device to translate exactly what you want to see into reality. You can also change the temperature, smell, room color, texture, and lighting this way. Particulate matter is automatically teleported out of your home. Your residence will be preset to "Aurician Standard"
Appliances have no physical input devices. If an appliance is damaged for greater than 2 minutes, please contact the Imperial Bureau of Foreign Affairs. This means that the self-repairing nanites have been disrupted. We assure you that voice commands are well past your level, and are able to not only analyse the tone of your voice, but your non verbal gestures and positions as well. If you feel uncomfortable with this, please notify the Imperial Bureau of Foreign Affairs immediately, so that we can help you. The internet can be accessed upon request. Auricians use the holonet, a more advanced form of the Internet, capable of instantaneous communication. Holonet access is provided automatically.
If you need to use the toilet, make use of the teleportation tubes instead. Teleportation tubes are able to extract any waste out of biological organisms, including diseases and unwanted particles. The teleportation tubes can also heal certain and repair organic tissues, as well as cure certain diseases. Teleportation tubes, on top of extracting waste, are used to clean oneself. This can be done fully clothed, and if it is, clothes will be cleaned as well. The tubes are also able to teleport clothes off and on the body. Please store your clothes in the closet if you have already done so. The teleporter automatically analyses clothing and organises them into different categories, such as formal, casual, business etc. You can change these via voice command.
Surfaces also clean themselves, as surfaces are made to teleport waste and particulate matter outside. Material Fabricators automatically create perfectly cooked food for you. You can indicated to the stove what food to materialise with a thought. If you have waste food, please use the teleporter bin or another waste disposal device. Glassware and utensils can be created for you if you did not bring your own. There is storage space available, and dishes can be automatically teleported out to counters or even your hand. Please note that there is a limit to the amount of glassware and utensils that can be produced for you at any give time. Atoms cost money. Any large pieces broken glassware and dishes may be disposed of in the teleporter bin, or another waste disposal device. Small pieces will be automatically warped out.
Dishes can be automatically washed with the telewash. Waste and particulate matter are automatically teleported out. Alternatively, you could make use of Aurician hard-light technology. Solid light gives you the look and functionality of materials without the cost. If you would prefer solid light resources, they can be made available upon request.
If you wish to be cured of any disease, please file an application with the Imperial Bureau of Health, notifying them of your disease, and any other medical history. There is no guarantee that the Disease you have may be cured.
