The largest armed conflict (wars declared and conflicts undeclared) that has befallen China is the Conflict of Communist Rebellion in the late '40s. At least 600 thousand lives were lost as a result, and over 20 million have been forced to relocate from their domiciles.

Over 18 million men of service age have been conscripted to serve in military capacities between 1947 and 1950.

The conflict was initially in the favour of the Chinese Communist Party, who obtained the trust of the masses by a promise of a utopian vision and an end of armed conflict, but as foreign aid gradually replenished the armoury of the government, the Communist faction lost ground and agreed to a truce in late 1949. An agreement was reached between the KMT and the Communists, that the latter would end the insurrection and hand over their arms, for the legalization of the party in national politics. Despite these conflicts, the Communist party remains a major political force in China since the war, and has unequivocally opposed the KMT in most policies.

However, in the early 1960s, a larger conflict seemed to be brewing between China and the USSR, the latter stationing an alarming amount of munitions along the Sino-Soviet border since late 1958. This act altered the international power alignment. Prior to that time, China was closer with the USSR than Germany, but since then Germany has offered China lots of benefits, since Soviet attention in China would necessarily detract from its efforts in opposing German colonial rule in Eastern Europe. In the immediate post-war period, China abolished universal conscription in an effort to professionalize its army during peacetime; this reduced the total strength of the armed forces to 3 million in 1952. In response to the Soviet threat, conscription was reintroduced in 1963, from all able-bodied males aged between 20 and 35. China's population growth was explosive in this period, which resulted in an army with a theoretical strength of over 21 million, but not all units have been formed before the threat abated in 1965.

The massive size of the conscript army posed new problems for the higher echelons of the defence command structure. Defence cuts in the '50s had rendered the state machine unfit to handle such a populous army. For example, the chain of command progressed through the cabinet, the Ministry of Defence, the Department of the Armed Forces, and only then to the headquarters of the armed forces; these measures existed to prevent warlordism. The military staff was relieved of its duty to command the forces, and remained only as an advisory body. Instead of having a single commander of the armed forces, that power was now divested of its former professional holder (the President remained commander-in-chief ceremonially), and split into seven people, who jointly advised the Permanent Under-secretary of the Armed Forces. This was a civil servant. The unified department for collection of intelligence once belonged to the Ministry of Defence, but was moved to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1951. Since departmental procedures prohibited direct communication between ministerial borders, intelligence would file through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Ministry of Defence, and then from the Ministry of Defence Secretariat to the Department of the Armed Forces, where it would be further processed by a dedicated section.

War for the area of Mtwara (2010-2011)

It was early morning. 5th and 6th Army Corps of the Masombiquean army crossed the border. They were supported by 1st Air Division. Tanzanians were taken by surprise. In 2 days the whole region of Mtwara was seized by Masombiquean Army.

The casus belli for the war was when ethnic Masombiqueans who escaped from Tanzania claimed that they faced racism and violence from Tanzanians. At some point these claims were confirmed and the DFOM got permission to seize Mtwara. The war started in 23.1.2010.

After Mtwara was captivated, a year long trench warfare began. Tanzanian army tried to take Mtwara back furiously, but Masombique's fortifications were just too strong. Gradually The Tanzanian Airforces were wiped out and the road was open to the capital city. But DFOM didn't take the risk, as they feared that US with her allies would intervene. So they decided to stay in their fortifications and demanded Tanzanians to give up. Continuing airstrikes damaged the morale of Tanzanian people and the army.

In 21.2.2011 UN intervened. UN diplomats demanded peace between Tanzania and Masombique.

In 1.4.2011 Tanzanians succeeded at breaking through the weak spot in Masombique's fortifications, but they were quickly driven back. One Army Group got too inspired and attacked their way to Dodoma. Then UN directly attacked Masombique.

This lead to nothing and in 15.6 a ceasefire was signed. Masombique annexed Mtwara and UN guards the borders of Tanzania and Masombique. This war proved that Masombique is one of the big military powers in Africa.

The Tolmakian Civil War remains the nation's deadliest and most destructive war, and the only one where Tolmakians fought each other on their own soil. After independence, conservatives/monarchists and republicans fought each other, destroying most of the new nation and causing 5,000 to 11,000 deaths in one week. These deaths were also caused by famine, which also caused virtual anarchy.

The next largest post-independence war of Tolmakia would be the Second Pejite War, fought in the Middle East as part of an international coalition force, but participating heavily. Around 3,000 to 5,000 soldiers were killed in the four-year war (including from post-war injuries and PTSD induced suicides).

The first war would lead to us being the modern republic, and the second making us the somewhat pacifist state we are today.

The war was fought during 1899-1909
At the time a small part of Eastern Urmealan wanted to secede because the part had different beliefs and philosophy. Urmealan ignored their propose which led to may Eastern politicians to rank up in the government which led more control to eventually changing laws. It ignored the lower class and deemed the higher wealthier class "more civilized and the only ones who should live in society". This lead to a huge gap between the poor and the wealthy. The civil war sparked because of the government banning religion, which the penalty was either prison or death(mostly death). This led the Western part of Urmealan to form a rebellion against the civilist government, which was lead by Urmealan legend Boomscuis. Long story short, Boomscuis becomes leader of the RU, the Rebellion of Urmealan, later on takes over the Urmealan Civilist capitol and takes control of the government once more. Some points to know from this...
-The fight lasted 10 years.
-2/3 of Urmealan's population died during the civil war.
-It wasn't until recent that Urmealan's population went back up to what the population size was supposed to be.
-The East and the West still are rivals culture wise and are racial towards each other.

Well.. Its debatable.

Since our independence in 1991, we've fought in three bloody conflicts: the Tajik Civil War, the Kyrgyz Civil War, and the Badakhshan Rebellions (1991). The Badakhshan Rebellions did the most damage directly to Badakhshan, while the Tajik Civil war took over 120,000 lives in total.

Before independence, we were split between Afghanistan and the Soviet Union, and before that, the Russian Empire; soldiers from Badakhshan fought in World War 1, the Russian Civil War, World War 2 and the Invasion of Afghanistan. The largest war ever to directly involve Badakhshan would most definitely be the Afghan-Soviet War, which coincidentally layed the foundation for independent Badakhshan, with the USSR annexing Badakhshan Province from Afghanistan and forming the Badakhshan Soviet Socialist Republic.

So in short.. It depends who you ask, and what you're asking specifically.

The largest war (to the MT date) that Slavia had to fight in was World War Three, circa. 1985. It was directly after the Sino-Mongolian War, where China unsuccessfully attempted to subjugate and take over the Slavian sphered nation of Mongolia.

World War Three started when China and Japan cooperatively landed troops within Slavia and Koryo (Korea). Right after that, the Caliphate began to attack British Palestine and Transjordan, and the Shi'a Empire of Persia raided British India. Japan also began to invade British India, Roman Indonesia, and British Australia.

The Caliph of Arabia called for a Great Jihad against the European powers in Colonial Africa, sweeping over the African continent before being repelled by Byzantine and Spanish armies.

At this time, Gran Columbia and the Confederation of Central America began to raid Spanish territories in the Caribbean and South America. The United States invaded Cuba as well, seeing a chance to finally gain new land.

As such, this devolved to two sides of the war: The Eurocentric Powers, and the American - Asiatic Collective.

The Origins of the Two Hundred and Twenty Year War lie in competition between the Ardokian Confederation and the Kingdom of Aanglandia over trade routes in the region. In 1632, an Aanglandian fleet sailed into the Ardokian sea (now the Confederal Sea) and sank the Ardokian fleet in harbour. Aanglandia then invaded the south-west of Ardoki, and what followed was a two-hundred long year war which finally ended in 1852 when Ardokian forces captured the Aanglandian capitol of Landintown. The largest war the kingdom ever had to fight was the Unification War in 1543. Back then, what is currently Dtin was made up of the Chao Phraya Kingdom, its vassal states the Bahchoeng Kingdom and the Annam Kingdom and the Pamma-Maung Kingdom. The war between Chao Phraya and Pamma-Maung lasted for 18 years, before Chao Phraya finally defeated Pamma-Maung. In all, there were 76 million deaths, making it the bloodiest war in Dtien history.

The largest war fought by Carolina was the Sino-Carolina War. In 2071, the People's Republic of china attempted to invade Alaska in order to get resources for their failing economy. They were quickly pushed out and the Chinese mainland was invaded by our forces. By 2073, the Chinese Communist Party fled to Siberia, and local democratic forces took over. A peace treaty was signed December 15th.
