Ok choice, except for the P90. I would reserve PDWs to vehicle crews like Tankers, Military Police, Special Forces.

As a standard service rifle for your troops, I suggest something chambered in a intermediate cartridge or full powered.

My men field the FN FAL, a full powered rifle sending 7.62x51mm cartridges downrange. 8)

What does being a "standard trooper" entail?

If this is for something like security or similar thing, then this is fine.

Aqiz, should all my cohorts have equal numbers of spear and heavy infantry or should I have six centuries from two cohorts as spears and three centuries from one cohort as heavy?

I imagine that each cohort having two centuries as spears and one as heavy will make them more versatile and less dependant on other cohorts in a pickle.

I'd make each cohort only one type of soldier. It makes assigning them to the battlefield easier (presumably the spear infantry are up front and the heavy infantry are for the flanks or reserves) and your cohorts don't lose their strength on being deployed.

That makes sense. In that case I might add three more cohorts so that the regular infantry isn't almost matched in numbers by the elites. The elites will be restricted to two spear cohorts and one heavy. That would take the total number up to 6600.

It looks like my legions will be pretty big after I add cavalry.

The standard issue armament of an Army soldier consists of a domestic AKM rifle with three magazines, two shrapnel grenades, a rudimentary steel helmet and a makeshift combat knife.

Yeah, it's looking pretty fat, but still within manageable levels.

Looks pretty good in my eyes honestly, I would suggest because of the large size of your legions maybe making it so that rather than simply having one single officer per unit instead making it so that you have say have a couple of officers commanding a single unit, say 1 Senior-Officer in overall command with a couple of Junior-Officers who assist and aid him. Say for a century you have 3 Centurions 1 will be recognized as Senior while the other 2 are Juniors. That or you can have a stronger NCO force among the regular enlisted and give them some independence and power to assist the Commissioned Officers of the Legion. Just some suggestions.

So, I need a good pistol either in 9mm or .45 ACP. My requirements are primarily are a rail system, a threaded barrel (preferable), and mostly ambidextrous features.

Any suggestions?

I mean, are you looking for an actual pistol to buy in real life or are you looking for a pistol to use in NS for your troops/police/whatever?

if the latter, I humbly suggest my USP10, in a 9mm version.

I was thinking of having each Tent Group led by an NCO or whatever the equivilant would be. They may not have much command ability, but they would do well relaying orders and moving just 9 other men. I might have one Junior Centurion though, just in case shit goes tits up.

Well if we are throwing hats into the ring there is my "alternative" solution:

http://z8.invisionfree.invalid.com/Crookfur_Arm ... wtopic=110

RL wise i'm not really up to speed on current pistol but the Wilson combat protector series look nice and i've always had a thing for HK pistols of which the VP-9 seems to be getting a lot of good reveiws. Of course out of the HKs only the USPs seem to have a tactical (threaded muzzle) version at the moment. Turns out i suck and the HK site hates me, a quick google shows lots of threaded VP9s.

Another nice one.

Well, I mean, the HK-45T and the HK-45CT both have threaded barrels but lack the ambidextrous features I'm looking for. But I'll be sure to look into the Protector.

What do y'all think of the M9A3?
