In the name of Harjaswintha III, Queen of Bastarneia, I extend to you my warmest welcome to our great nation, in the spirit of mutual respect and good will between brothers and sisters. With amity in our hearts, we open our capital cities to you, that you may build embassies to represent your various homelands in the eyes of the Bastarneian people and government.
But, Capital Cities, you may ask? It may come as a surprise, but the Bastarneian realm is in reality a union of three semi-autonomous nations joined under a single monarch — each of which hosts its own embassies and international relations separately from one another. We invite you to establish an embassy with all three, although it is certainly not an obligation.
As a small tip to incoming ambassadors, the official language, Bastarneian, can be learnt through an online training course. Alternatively, Russian is commonly used in the Department of Foreign Affairs, and the ability to speak it may well be an acceptable substitute. Failing these, translation staff may be hired for a reasonable wage.
With regards to amenities, all of our capital cities are fully outfitted with modern hospitals, public transportation, usw.. For those coming from what may be called more 'progressive' or 'westernized' nations, you will not be disappointed or forced to live without the comforts of home. With regards to security, you may place your trust in us — our police force is fully equipped to handle any threat you may percieve.

Embassy Regulations
The Bastarneian government respects the following commonly accepted definitions of diplomatic immunity:

- In cases where the residence is located within the official consular premises, only the official office space is protected from police entry.
Other regulations to be noted:
- Armoured vehicles are acceptable; however, any vehicles traditionally defined as military vehicles (e.g. tanks, or any vehicle with a mounted weapon) or vehicles capable of flight are not permitted.
- No weaponry outside of small arms may be employed by embassy security staff or any member of the embassy. Fully automatic weaponry is forbidden.
- Ambassadors are preferred to have a professionally applicable knowledge of Bastarneian, or, failing that, Russian. Translators are available for hire, but at the cost of the Ambassador or his represented Government.
- All foreign medicines must be declared upon arrival. NOTE that cannabis is not considered to be a medicine by the transitional government, and will be confiscated upon entry.
- Although diplomatic immunity is extended to diplomatic staff, repetitive disrespect for Bastarneian law within immunity's reach can result in the closure of the embassy and the deportation of its staff.
- Bastarneia is a Modern-Tech nation, but we will hold embassies with other techs on a case by case basis.
