One day I'll get around to exploring the Jeobseoni Dialect, which should be a mixture of Korean and Japanese. The Korean elements were originally used as an underground language but eventually filtered into normal speech as local slang until the ethnic cleansing policies ended, after which they merged into the local Yashimese as some kind of weird "combined language", with its own odd quirks. Singlish with Japanese and Korean? Something like that.

Link to map claim (optional): I'd like a small area, preferably on a peninsula. The nation is meant to be somewhat a city state (with some land and a few smaller cities around it); the peninsula south of Hasumin would work.

Hey! Just wondering, but are you someone's puppet? This isn't a bad thing and puppets are totally allowed, but it's easier to contact people through mains, since that is what people generally log into while using NS.
Can you explain the Sukyuran language to me?
45 million for something of a city-state? Haha. Other than that and the claim peninsula south of Hasumin being roughly the size of Germany, the app seems fine (I can create whatever kind of density you'd like).

I am, and I didn't mean the whole peninsula. One of the smaller peninsulas off of that peninsula. I based the region loosely off of the Greater Tokyo region, which has 37 million people. Sukyuran will probably be a weird mesh of Japanese and Chinese, not sure entirely.

It does not have many cities, but the ones it does have are quite massive, most settlements are, at best, small towns. Most of the nation is rural, with most urbanization being on the coastline, especially around the capital.

Real life culture influence: Ethnically and Linguistically (and to an extent, culturally) Han Chinese, but also culturally (again, to an extent), and architecturally Korean. There are some original elements.
Real life culture of former colonizer: (if applicable)
Population: 6 Million
GDP (PPP) per capita: $15,368
GDP (nominal) per capita: $10,118
Military manpower (active/reserve): 25,000/50,000
Language(s): Mandarin (second largest is Korean)
Nation description: Hanchaoguo is a small, ancient nation. It was initially formed following the so-called "Rice Wars" in the 1000s BCE, when King Si Ling united (aka conquered) the surrounding kingdoms. Over time, his sons used their power and influence to buy and conquer most of the surrounding land. By 500 CE, what is now Hanchaoguo was divided between two kingdoms: Hanqi in the South, and Ani-Guk in the north. The next 600 years involved many minor conflicts between the two nations. The year 1150 saw the union of Hanqi and Ani-guk, this union may or may not have happened because of economic problems in Ani-guk. Regardless, they came together to become the Kingdom of Hanchaoguo. Due to the mountainous terrain along their borders, they did not have much contact with the outside, save for the odd ship that would come by. They remained much like this until the 1400s, when they built a fleet of merchant ships to sail to the foreign ports they had learned about from maps from ships that had come by. This trading went on continuously, until the kingdom was overthrown in the 1834 revolution. The Hanchaoguoan Republic that was formed restarted the trade routes very shortly after forming. All was calm and very good until the corrupt republican government was overthrown in 1931 in favor of a smaller, less powerful government, thus becoming the Free State of Hanchaoguo (HZZ). Nowadays, the people don't care very much about the state, as it has little influence on their lives. It still has a mainly trade-based economy. Some things just never change.
