Is hunting a popular activity in your nation's culture?
It is very common, and many people enjoy hunting

What types of animals are hunted in your nation? What is the purpose of hunting - for meat, fur, or sport?
Deer, rodents, woodland creatures, reptiles, and avian animals are hunted mostly and people hunt for all three reasons

What is the legal status of hunting in your nation? Is a license required? Are there certain methods of hunting banned?
A license is required for all kills, unless the hunter is attacked by said animal, which then the carcass can and must be taken by the hunter. Firearms, Bows and crossbows, knives and spears (Not at all common) can be used, but hunters cannot use incendiary devices, such as grenades, flamethrowers or bombs to kill an animal. Hunters cannot also hunt in an urban or residential area, for fear of accidental injuries or deaths.

Are any species of animals off-limits for hunting? Are there periods of time (hunting seasons), outside of which hunting a species of animal is prohibited?
Any animal on the Bjorkan Endangered Species List is off limits, unless the hunter is given special permission to hunt the animal, and any offspring under 1.5 years old are not allowed to be hunted. Some examples of animals on the Endangered List are: Salt Water Crocodile (found in the very southern edges of the country), Great Gray Bear(Extremely endangered, no hunting of this animal is allowed at any circumstance), Perry's Grouse, Pygmy Eagle, and Bjokals (A mix of a feral dog and coyote, which is seen as a symbol of the country.)
Mostly represents my real life views.
Pro: States rights, conservativism (Economically and Socially), Gun rights, Christianity, Russia's anti-LGBT laws and annexation of Crimea, Capital Punishment, Brexit, Independent Texas, Russia.

Against: LGBT rights, Liberalism, illegal immigration, atheism or agnosticism, Globalism, the EU, the UN, Communism/Socialism, Democrats, Social Justice Warriors.

Is hunting a popular activity in your nation's culture?
It plays a central role in our culture , hunting is our preferred method of obtaining food. And hunting reserves can be found in every major city and town that are maintained by the hunt mistresses.

What types of animals are hunted in your nation? What is the purpose of hunting - for meat, fur, or sport?
We will hunt literally any non sentient being for food (and we can eat almost anything organic) , it is a mixture of a fun activity , a sport and gathering food, and for some a religious observance.

What is the legal status of hunting in your nation? Is a license required? Are there certain methods of hunting banned?
Hunters must be licensed by the hunt mistresses and demonstrate an adequate understanding of how to make a clean and efficient kill for the species in that park, they will accompany new hunters on their first trip into the reserve to observe , instruct and grade them. In addition to a hunting license a firearms license is also required for any weapons that the hunter plans to use. Weapons that will destroy the meat value of the beast or damage the reserve are prohibited.

Are any species of animals off-limits for hunting? Are there periods of time (hunting seasons), outside of which hunting a species of animal is prohibited?
Hunting sentient beings is forbidden and highly illegal. Hunting juvenile beasts or beasts caring for their juveniles is strongly frowned upon as seen as dishonorable , but it is not illegal (although with our honor it may as well be illegal)
Hunting reserves are managed by the hunt mistresses who monitor the stock level of the animals inside the reserve and if levels fall below a sustainable threshold number they will close the season for that species until fresh beasts are brought in or they breed to acceptable levels again. There is no set open and closed season for hunting as this is at the discretion of the hunt mistresses.

Is hunting a popular activity in your nation's culture? Yes, although not in a sporting sense. It's popularity steams from its cultural links and many people see it as a link to the past often making hunting a very personal endevour between the hunters acting as both an opratunity to bond and as a right of passage.

What types of animals are hunted in your nation? What is the purpose of hunting - for meat, fur, or sport? A bit of all. While most people don't need the meat but the concept of wasting the meat isn't something that is culturally unaccepted. So in that sense it is for meat, for sport, and for fur.

What is the legal status of hunting in your nation? Is a license required? Are there certain methods of hunting banned? Hunting is legal and loosely regulated with rules aimed at keeping animal populations stable. Aside from that most any method is viable for hunting with exceptions to Fully Automatic weapons and any weapon that fires a bil let larger then a 13mm.

Are any species of animals off-limits for hunting? Are there periods of time (hunting seasons), outside of which hunting a species of animal is prohibited? Very few animals are off limits to hunting with some enlarged bird speacies. There are no laws regarding seasonal hunting so the basic rule of thumb is "If you can see it you can shoot it" but the government does enact strict quotas for the number number of animals someone can kill unless you have a specific licinse which states you have no other means of nutrition wether it be by lifestyle or not.

Is hunting a popular activity in your nation's culture?
Somewhat. It used to be one of the ways of putting food on the table but these days, it's mostly for recreation, conservation and filling the upswing in demand for non-farmed meat.

What types of animals are hunted in your nation? What is the purpose of hunting - for meat, fur, or sport?
The types of animals hunted depends on the kind of hunting in question. Hunting for food usually sees deer, rabbits, wild goats, pigs and other creatures like those hunted, primarily because they're abundant and their meat is in demand. Hunting for fur isn't really that big in Valcluse. Sport hunters usually go after deer and wild pigs and possibly elk. Conservation and population management as well as livestock protection generally try to contain or manage the populations of foxes, rabbits, various species of birds and other pest animals.

What is the legal status of hunting in your nation? Is a license required? Are there certain methods of hunting banned?
Hunting is legal in Valcluse. In order to hunt, you need a firearms licence and a hunting licence. Hunting licences have three categories: recreational, sport and wage. Both recreational and sport hunting licences are limited to hunting reserves and private property, with wage hunting allowing hunting in national parks and reserves, provided that the applicant has a contract of employment. Unlike the other two categories, wage hunting licences are temporary and last as long as the contract lasts.

Hunting weapons are limited to those allowed by firearms regulations. This includes the types of ammunition that can be used.

Are any species of animals off-limits for hunting? Are there periods of time (hunting seasons), outside of which hunting a species of animal is prohibited?
All endangered species which have legal protection and species not designated to be "legally culled" are prohibited from being hunted. There are no official hunting seasons, although hunting is usually more of a spring and summer pastime.

Is hunting a popular activity in your nation's culture?

Hunting is a necessary activity in Brellach's culture. With around 60% of people living among one of the thousands of nomadic tribes that roam the Holy Queendom, many of them - particularly in the central Aichan Savannah and the northerly regions, where foliage is scarce - rely on hunting to survive.

In accordance with their beliefs, however, they hunt only what they need, use what they kill, and prefer vegetarian options where available. This is more practical for tribes operating principally in the western, eastern and southern regions, where vegetation is more abundant. As animal life is a part of their goddess' creation, it is treated with respect, with blessings offered to the deceased animal, and hunting for 'sport' is unheard of.

What types of animals are hunted in your nation? What is the purpose of hunting - for meat, fur, or sport?

Most edible animals are hunted by those tribes that elect to hunt. Deer and smaller animals such as rabbits are predominantly hunted in the south and west regions. It is not uncommon for insects to feature in the diet of tribes operating in the savannah. Only in the chillier northern regions, where clothing is required for survival, is hunting for fur undertaken, and usually the meat is used too.

What is the legal status of hunting in your nation? Is a license required? Are there certain methods of hunting banned?

The Holy Queendom, as per the terms of The Compact, cannot attempt to alter the way of life of the tribes, and as such there is no legislation around hunting.

Are any species of animals off-limits for hunting? Are there periods of time (hunting seasons), outside of which hunting a species of animal is prohibited?

Horses, the national animal which is believed to be their goddess' favourite 'lesser creatures', are not hunted nor are captive horses consumed, but there is no legislation to prevent this - only theological rules and cultural taboos.

The tribes are generally skilled at maintaining the populations of the animals they hunt in their regions, having thousands of years of knowledge to draw upon. Over-hunting is rare, though has happened in the past - principally due to unusual circumstances due to poor weather or disease.

Due to environment protection program in 2008 , Our leader published the new way of life that may preserve our nature. From science we know that
emissions from beef amount to 16 kg CO2-eq/kg beef compared to 0.8 kg CO2-eq/kg of wheat (Garnett 2009). other study said that the total GHG emissions for beef summed up to 30 kg CO2-eq/kg beef , In terms of GHG emissions “the consumption of 1 kg domestic beef in a household represents automobile use of a distance of ~160 km (99 miles)” (Carlsson-Kanyama and González 2009).

After some studies our authority especially our emperor decide to apply compulsory vegetarianism program and vegan program every monday . as the impact of that regulation in February 2009 every livestock industries are abolished. in 2010 as the part of program our government banned hunting and fishing activity at all. Fishers are switch their activity to plant seaweeds with government support and assistance in technology and marketing aspects. For foreign embassies , due to their daily need to livestock products we encourage them to provide it by they self :) :)

No.

What types of animals are hunted in your nation? What is the purpose of hunting - for meat, fur, or sport?
Hunting is restricted to a few license holders and they may only hunt with limits what the Martinique Department of Wildlife Services has declared overpopulated.

What is the legal status of hunting in your nation? Is a license required? Are there certain methods of hunting banned?
A license is required. Bow, spear, and hand-to-hand methods are the only legal methods.

Are any species of animals off-limits for hunting? Are there periods of time (hunting seasons), outside of which hunting a species of animal is prohibited?
Hunting is only allowed for overpopulated species.

Is hunting a popular activity in your nation's culture?
Somewhat. It certainly used to be - for sport and for sustenance, usually dependent on social class. In modern practice, hunting for sport is rare, though hunting for food is not uncommon in rural areas.

What types of animals are hunted in your nation? What is the purpose of hunting - for meat, fur, or sport?
In modern times, hunting for meat and fur are the most common reasons, followed by animal population control (through the issuance of licenses).
Deer, boar, and game birds are the primary targets.

What is the legal status of hunting in your nation? Is a license required? Are there certain methods of hunting banned?
Licenses are required, unless it can be shown the individual in question has no other means of sustenance (i.e. being stranded or choosing a hunter-gatherer lifestyle). In any case, guns may only be used by gun license holders and only gun license holders may legally acquire guns.

Are any species of animals off-limits for hunting? Are there periods of time (hunting seasons), outside of which hunting a species of animal is prohibited?
It largely depends on the animal and any applicable wildlife management strategies. Animals with low populations must not be hunted.

Is hunting a popular activity in your nation's culture?
Its mostly popular with citizens who live in more rural areas, all though some city dwellers like it too.

What types of animals are hunted in your nation? What is the purpose of hunting - for meat, fur, or sport?
Anything that's not on the Endangered Animals List (EAL). The purpose varies.

What is the legal status of hunting in your nation? Is a license required? Are there certain methods of hunting banned?
Each animal requires a unique licence, unless you live in "Free-Hunting" zones (Places that are quite far from civilization), then you just need a single licence. As for the methods, anything that can cause harm to anything other then what you are hunting is banned. So, no poisons, explosives, ect.

Are any species of animals off-limits for hunting? Are there periods of time (hunting seasons), outside of which hunting a species of animal is prohibited?
Any animal on the EAL may not be hunted. There are no seasons, although licences due vary based on the time of the year.

Is hunting a popular activity in your nation's culture?
Hunting was historically a necessary activity in the Koshkarusian SFSR, until we started farming food animals.

What types of animals are hunted in your nation? What is the purpose of hunting - for meat, fur, or sport?
Small mammals and reptiles were once hunted for food. We now farm these animals, making hunting unnecessary. Hunting for sport was unheard of.

What is the legal status of hunting in your nation? Is a license required? Are there certain methods of hunting banned?
It is illegal to kill any living animal except for farmed food animals and humans. Food animals must be killed as quickly as possible.

Are any species of animals off-limits for hunting? Are there periods of time (hunting seasons), outside of which hunting a species of animal is prohibited?
Food animals cannot be anything other than small mammals, reptiles, or fish. But meat from other animals (for example horse meat) is still legal, and can be imported.

What types of animals are hunted in your nation? What is the purpose of hunting - for meat, fur, or sport? All three.

What is the legal status of hunting in your nation? Is a license required? Are there certain methods of hunting banned?

Hunting is banned in National Parks to protect the wildlife and landscapes, and in urban areas for safety reasons. Trapping is banned as too cruel, and AK47s and explosives cannot be legally used either. Rifles, shotguns, pistols, bows, spears, swords, tridents, daggers and nets can be used.

Are any species of animals off-limits for hunting? Are there periods of time (hunting seasons), outside of which hunting a species of animal is prohibited? Hunting in the breeding season is banned. Hunting of changelings and sapient ponies is considered to be murder.

Is hunting a popular activity in your nation's culture?
Yes hunting a deeply ingrained into our culture and ways, even in apart of our religion sort of, the national religion is part nature based.

What types of animals are hunted in your nation? What is the purpose of hunting - for meat, fur, or sport?
normally hunt deer, bear, fox, just about anything really so long as its not endangered or anything, and the purpose is meat and fur, its a law that when you kill an animal you must use everything of it, let nothing go to waste of it, that is an insult to the animal and nature to let it waste.

What is the legal status of hunting in your nation? Is a license required? Are there certain methods of hunting banned?
a license is required, and nothing too cruel, anything that makes the animal suffer for extended periods of time can bring a heavy fine, or even jail time, and Vandarian jails and prisons aren't nice, generally, make the kill quick and clean as possible, and use everything from it, as well don't hunt animals that are on the endangered list, and don't use methods that bring great prolonged suffering.

Are any species of animals off-limits for hunting? Are there periods of time (hunting seasons), outside of which hunting a species of animal is prohibited?
Yes there are laws that make it off-limit to hunt certain animals, normally those that are endangered few wolf breeds, and some bird breeds, their are hunting seasons for certain animals and even breeds of animals specifically, recently boars have become overly populated, and a problem so there is a open season on boars meaning can hunt them when ever you want, kill as many as you want, and more lax on having to use everything of the body for them.

Is hunting a popular activity in your nation's culture?
Recreational hunting (mahtawaiþei) is permitted only as a means of overpopulation control, and only direct kills are permitted. Survivalist hunting (aflibainiwaiþei) is permitted, within logical boundaries.

What types of animals are hunted in your nation? What is the purpose of hunting - for meat, fur, or sport?
Bear (baira), wolf (wulfs), deer (hairuts), and fowl (fugl), mostly. The purpose, as stated above, is for meat and fur (either both or meat alone).

What is the legal status of hunting in your nation? Is a license required? Are there certain methods of hunting banned?
No license required, but any method which would cause pain to the animal are forbidden (i.e. purposefully targeting a single body part, traps, etc, also known as skaþiwaiþei).

Are any species of animals off-limits for hunting? Are there periods of time (hunting seasons), outside of which hunting a species of animal is prohibited?
Recreational hunting is permitted only within specified hunting seasons. Generally, ravens (hrabns) are off-limits for hunting.

Is hunting a popular activity in your nation's culture?
Yes. Across the entirety of the Federation, hunting is a common sport, though it is heavily regulated to keep certain endangered animal species safe.

What types of animals are hunted in your nation? What is the purpose of hunting - for meat, fur, or sport?
Animals that are hunted legally are deer, moose, water-fowl, bears, and similar animals. Sport hunting is regulated so that any successful kill in sport hunting is then used by the govt. to be used by different industries. Otherwise, hunting is done mostly for meat.

What is the legal status of hunting in your nation? Is a license required? Are there certain methods of hunting banned?
In order to hunt a regulated hunting zone, you must be at least 18 years of age, and must mark any creature that you kill so that it can be found. Hunting weapons that are legal to use are pistols, revolvers, bolt-action rifles, semiautomatic rifles, bow-and-arrows, and pump-action shotguns.

Are any species of animals off-limits for hunting? Are there periods of time (hunting seasons), outside of which hunting a species of animal is prohibited?
Any creature that is listed as an endangered creature is illegal to hunt and you can be criminally charged appropriately according to what creature is killed.

Is hunting a popular activity in your nation's culture?
Hunting is very popular in the more forested and rural interior of the nation and has long been an integral part of culture of the rural interior.

What types of animals are hunted in your nation? What is the purpose of hunting - for meat, fur, or sport?
The most popular hunted animals are deer, vermin, pheasants and water-fowl. Hunting is usually done for sport and sometimes for food, hunting for fur generally isn't done much anymore in Arkiasis. Hunting of animals is also done as vermin control, conservation and to protect livestock, particularly predator animals, rodents and lagomorphs, birds and other pest animals.

What is the legal status of hunting in your nation? Is a license required? Are there certain methods of hunting banned?
Legal but regulated. Hunting inside National Parks is banned and a hunting license along with a firearms license (with the exception of 5.6x15R rifles which don't require a license) is required. Only firearms with a hollow-point ammunition can be used to hunt and ammunition that otherwise is more likely to wound than kill is illegal to use. Hunting licenses also distinguish between large game and small game which dictate which type of ammunition is allowed to be used. There are also bag limits on certain species of animal to prevent over-hunting of aniamls.

Are any species of animals off-limits for hunting? Are there periods of time (hunting seasons), outside of which hunting a species of animal is prohibited?
Any species that is listed as endangered is illegal to hunt. Hunting seasons are also used to anticipate when a species' population is at its maximum in a year and is also used to protect migration periods of birds and to protect animals during their mating season.

Is hunting a popular activity in your nation's culture?
If by popular you mean common then yes. While archery, marksmanship, and similar skills are often considered sports, most Ilticans do not think of hunting as a sport any more than farming is. While most meat comes from livestock, many people in rural or remote areas still rely on hunting to feed themselves.
What types of animals are hunted in your nation? What is the purpose of hunting - for meat, fur, or sport?
Mostly meat, but on rare occasion fur for traditional reasons. There are many possibly edible animals around but the most recognizable are buffalo, fish, large non-predatory birds, snakes, and sometimes even lizards.
What is the legal status of hunting in your nation? Is a license required? Are there certain methods of hunting banned?
You usually only need a license in certain areas, such as near cities. some nature preserve areas are off limits entirely but generally if you're not around a town you can hunt
Methods deemed overly destructive such as dynamite fishing, large packs of dogs, bear traps, vehicle mounted shooting, and anything using explosives or gasses are prohibited. Rifles are allowed but are seen as lazy by many and often come with lots of red tape on their use so bows are far more common.
Are any species of animals off-limits for hunting? Are there periods of time (hunting seasons), outside of which hunting a species of animal is prohibited?
Anything that's on the endangered species list is off limits, and seasons are often used for animals that aren't endangered but are considered to be at risk.

Is hunting a popular activity in your nation's culture?
Yes, in older fokelore is was commonplace but hunting for sport today is declining

What types of animals are hunted in your nation? What is the purpose of hunting - for meat, fur, or sport?
Deer, rabbits, and foxes are mainly hunted. They are mostly used for meat however many people still do hunt for sport.

A licence, which requires the bearer to be at least 18 and have an arms permit (which requires passing a gun safety test) is required; although children 12 and over can hunt if they are accompanied by a licences holder. Under current firearms laws, people are not allowed to keep guns in their homes and therefore must be either rented before hunting or stored at an authorized business.

Are any species of animals off-limits for hunting? Are there periods of time (hunting seasons), outside of which hunting a species of animal is prohibited?
It is illegal to hunt any native animals classified as (critically) endangered. Hunting seasons generally last from October to early December, and March to April.

Is hunting a popular activity in your nation's culture?

It's been popular historically, but now is only popular among the aristocracy.

Anything that can run and be shot; mostly sport and fur.

Hunting is in part legal. To hunt in Ludania, you need to own the land, have a license to hunt and a gun license which are extremely rare and difficult to obtain.

Hunting "Nationally Significant Species" and rare or endangered animals is illegal. All kills must also be recorded and submitted in a report. Hunting animals during their mating season and birthing seasons is illegal.

Is hunting a popular activity in your nation's culture?

Hunting is fairly popular, especially in the Aterandic and Westeron Mountain regions and other parts of Western or South-Central Kiravia, where is is frequently a mainstay of the rural diet.

What types of animals are hunted in your nation? What is the purpose of hunting - for meat, fur, or sport?

Primarily birds and ungulates hunted for meat.

What is the legal status of hunting in your nation? Is a license required? Are there certain methods of hunting banned?

Hunting regulations vary by state and locality. The more densely populated ststes require licences, while others do not, and each state sets its own licencing criteria, hunting seasons, and restrictions on where hunting can take place. Nonetheless, the freedom to hunt on one's own land without a licence is virtually universal.

Are any species of animals off-limits for hunting? Are there periods of time (hunting seasons), outside of which hunting a species of animal is prohibited?

The federal government maintains a list of animals that cannot be hunted for conservation reasons, and many states have their own supplementary lists. As mentioned above, each state sets its own hunting seasons for particular game.

Is hunting a popular activity in your nation's culture? Yes

What types of animals are hunted in your nation? What is the purpose of hunting - for meat, fur, or sport? All traditional game animals are hunted (deer, moose, etc...). Mostly, animals are hunted for meat or furs. However, hunting solely for population control sometimes results in many animals being killed without being eaten or used for their furs. Hunting as a sport is reserved to the upper classes.

What is the legal status of hunting in your nation? Is a license required? Are there certain methods of hunting banned? Hunting can be practised by anybody over 21, people under 21 can hunt only when accompanied by at least one person older than 21. Of course, a gun license is required for this activity.

Are any species of animals off-limits for hunting? Are there periods of time (hunting seasons), outside of which hunting a species of animal is prohibited? "Hunting Seasons" or "Extinction Danger" only apply in special "reservations" - areas of forest that are enclosed by a fence and that are not accessible without a license. This means that if an animal's population must be preserved, as many specimens as possible are caught, put into cages, and then released into the "reservation" (which can be as big as 100 kilometers). Outside of those reservations, any animal is free to be shot down on sight.
