suffice to say its the most terrifying thing in the world a 20-something could go through and you never go back to normal really and it will perminatly destroy your perception of danger forever.

The Great Nation of Dan wrote:Oh on the topic on mortars and artillery stuff would it be reasonable to have a 8 gauge pump shotgun to act as in close-range mortar support. Not expecting to use in direct fire but just a small group firing toward a general direction. I kinda got this idea from slugs and expressive bullets I saw for .223 ars and figured why not.

bro, just fit the mortar with a breech gate and a long-travel recoil buffer; fire from shoulder. done.
Edit: Not like you can get any useful payload out of an 8 gage.
Naturally the aforementioned shoulder-fired mortar can have a baseplate and bipod fitted to fire in a conventional mortar way.

Isn't a mortar. Is a pump-action 40mm shotgun.

For want of real weapons, they lost the war.

I find your statement inaccurate and vaguely racist.
I was thinking of issuing something similar to Azurgan light infantry, but decided to do a trio of 81mm mortars instead and platoon mortar squad instead.Kheyot wrote:I had a tried at this innawoods game and below is the standard Kheyoti infantryman. (note that desert camo is also used)
Looks a tad sparse, his kit.
