Oh on the topic on mortars and artillery stuff would it be reasonable to have a 8 gauge pump shotgun to act as in close-range mortar support. Not expecting to use in direct fire but just a small group firing toward a general direction. I kinda got this idea from slugs and expressive bullets I saw for .223 ars and figured why not.

Just give one or two men in each squad an underbarrel grenade launcher. Or give everyone rifle grenades. Or give one man per squad a ~50mm mortar. Or do all three

Yes, I mean like the HIWS, but fit a baseplate and bipod to use it as a conventional muzzle-loaded mortar, with a special case in the breech.

Doesn't look like the recoil of that French lance mortar whateverthefuckit'scalled is too heavy. There's a helmet cam of one being shoulder-fired in combat on liveleak.

I was thinking of issuing something similar to Azurgan light infantry, but decided to do a trio of 81mm mortars instead and platoon mortar squad instead.

We are a really hot nation so I tried reducing luggage while keeping realistic, cos it gets like 40 degrees celsius here on average.
