No one is saying carry a machete rather than more ammo, rather you can carry both.

I see that the super-shorty shotgun is on the belt slot. Do they carry it on their belt? Do they have some sort of specialized leg-holster?
Also, It's probably just the program, but did you intentionally put the sapper-axe and the e-tool on-top one another? Is it some sort of horrifying axe-shovel combination?

Yet on another note, why does he carry extra clips, as well as magazines? Does he also have an older bolt-action rifle that he needs those for?
Sorry, I'm not trying to sound overly negative. I like the way he looks, and the idea of trenches and tunnels being utilized to the point of requiring their own MOS in the modern setting is a very interesting idea.

So, they're more speed-loaders than clips? Wouldn't be more practical to carry more magazines in their place, and maybe carry one for when you need to reload on the field in a slightly quicker fashion?

Think Lee-Enfield. You have your specialist speedy magazine and most of your ammunition is in stripper clip form. In this case a troopers will receive extra ammunition in the form of 2 stripper clips and 1 magazine.Nirvash Type TheEND wrote:ly have it as an MOS to begin with, but oh well.
True the role had also taken a major role in urban combat since it's formation (not gonna mention dates since I'm gonna make an idiot of myself).
What would you suggest?

Pity that he doesn't live in Freedom-Land, but I suppose we can't save everyone.

I'm getting my PAL in about a month.
Stoked for my first firearm purchase, probably some sort of SMLE.

Now that is a fantastic idea!

A friend of mine requested that I do a gear config chart for his nation's infantry, and I'm pretty pleased with what I've got so far (WIP!). He also requested that it be in Rhodesian Brushstroke, which was a bit difficult for find a high-quality pattern image for, but I think the end result payed off.
Working on his infantry has also given me more confidence to draw more of my own gear and apply it to the templates, as he has very spefiec gear requests for his line-art. The FLYYE Armor Chassis with shoulder-pads and crotch-pad, Bijan knee-pads and elbow pads, battle-belt, helmet and goggles, helmet visor, and throat-mic are all made to order, so to speak. It's been tiring to look up and duplicate all these specific pieces of gear, but it's definitely becoming a learning course in the process.
