Updated spear infantry. I guess I should make the tower shield standard and replace the round shields of the other infantry types, otherwise they would make pretty a pretty shit testudo.

Czechnology is best technology. Look at the 38(t), it was a light tank and was pretty much as effective as the early Panzer III medium tanks. Same armor, same gun, even faster speed, smaller profile...Why didn't the Germans just adopt all the Czech designs? T-25s instead of Panthers would be so much fun!

For the same reason they could not just churn out T-34 clones. The choice of what weapon you use is not just about performance but about what your industry can deliver. If a 38(t) is say 10% more effective than a Panzer III that only means that for each 10 38's you'd get the equivalent of 11 III's. Contrast this against the cost and production delays involved in retooling all your factories and you end up with a ration that is no longer favorable. No amount of the "new and improved" tank are going to equal out the number of old tanks you could have built whilst doing so. And that's before we even get to the big deal. German tanks were designed to take advantage of the machine parts, weapons, munitions and other things that Germany could build. It's the same with every other nation. Just switching over completely to a new design would mean retooling more than just your tank factories. So the costs go up massively.

Germany already had issues with the fact they used every rifle, field gun, tank, aircraft and anything else they could capture. The last thing they need is even more logistical nightmares.

Purpelia does not reflect my actual world views. In fact, the vast majority of Purpelian cannon is meant to shock and thus deliberately insane. I just like playing with the idea of a country of madmen utterly convinced that everyone else are the barbarians. So play along or not but don't ever think it's for real.

The above post contains hyperbole, metaphoric language, embellishment and exaggeration. It may also include badly translated figures of speech and misused idioms. Analyze accordingly.

Except it's not really any of those things.

Tubular receivers were an SMG thing all the way back to the MP 18 and the lower/grip has far more CZ. 52 about it than anything else.
It's pretty clear where they were going with things when they were working on the first production smg to use a magazine through the pistol grip.

I live in Vietnam and the rifle was carried by a policeman. Some kind of black uniform, helmet-wearing, assault rifle-carrying policeman at that. I wouldn't see why he would have a Draco.

Edit: Speaking of which, if anyone knows who those guys are then please tell me. I see them around these parts every once in a while and they always carry assault rifles. I have never been able to find any information about them online.

AK Draco is probably available because of its civil market existence in the US. It's entirely possible it's an AKS-74u (which has a metal folding stock rather than no stock) or it could even be an AKMSU kit (AKM kitbashed into a weapon resembling an AKS-74u), that India sometimes produces.

Now that you mentioned it, it might of been the latter. It looked a little off, but I just chalked it up to lighting (it was nighttime).

Edit: I was reading about the Vietnamese K-50M on Modern Firearms. It's says, and I quote, "use of 71-round PPSh-41 drums is possible only if the telescoping butt is retracted." Why would the drum magazine only work if the butt is retracted?

Anyway the easiest way to tell it's a Huey is by looking at the twin rotors.

It does indeed.

I managed to misread your post, thinking you were instead asking how the retracted stock could interfere with the loading of a drum.

That was what I was asking, but I misunderstood the sentence that I quoted and thought that the stock—when extended—prevented a drum magazine from being loaded into the gun.
