The Empress of the Chrorhid Hives has deemed fit, in her infinite wisdom, to grant permission for other states to establish embassies within her own hive as well as the surrounding hives. All hives are subsurface and the ground above is given over mostly to farms but there are large landing zones for air/spacecraft. Embassies would be located near the centre of each hive and all service roles will be filled by the drone caste unless other wise stated as a special requirement.

All embassies are sovereign ground of their respected owner and as such are exempt when facing Chrorhid law, ambassadors are granted full diplomatic immunity except in certain circumstances. We wish you the very best of fortunes and hope you choose to establish an embassy with us.

Head of state if applicable: Aranea don't have names, but outsiders often call her The Black Widow.

Tech level: FT/FanT... we're magic-using, spacefaring intelligent spiders who use silmarils to power our technology.

Attitude towards slavery: For-profit slavery -- the buying and selling of sentient beings -- is frowned upon to say the least, but dedication to the greater good is a citizen's duty and if that must be enforced then so be it.
Attitude towards non-state religions: See above... not big fans of religion, period.
Attitude towards homosexuals: An aberration we don't entirely understand, which appears to not occur in our species. We feel it isn't our place to judge since none of our people have ever experienced it.
Attitude towards women: They tend to wield the power in our society... the Hive is ruled by a Queen, not a King.

Full name of ambassador: Outsiders refer to him as Metaphid... as was mentioned before, though, Aranea don't actually have names.

Criminal history: Of course not. We find it highly amusing that other nations might send criminals to run embassies, but we've never left a criminal alive long enough for that to happen in our country.
Bio (optional):
Languages spoken: Aranea, English, Elvish, Spanish and a smattering of Gobbledygook (the Goblin language).
Medical Conditions: He's in extremely good health for his age.
Special requirements: Aranea are not normal-sized spiders to say the least... we need the embassy constructed to accommodate a creature of vast width (about 2 meters across, and the same measurement lengthwise).

Weapons (no weapons larger than a sidearm): We are our own weapons... powerful spellcasters with well-above-human strength and natural body armor who can liquefy the organs of enemies and then suck them out like a milkshake don't need conventional weapons.
Vehicles (max of 12 non-combat ground vehicles as well as 1 space vehicle): 1 shuttle (space vehicle), 6 unarmed transports (each can only accommodate 1 Aranea)

We dislike slavery, but we have developed a way to deal with it without resorting to violence (Which we despise in all of its forms). We simply purchase the slaves off of those who own them, and then grant them complete citizenship in our nation. Everyone wins. We get new citizens, the slavers make money, and the slaves are now completely free.

Attitude towards non-state religions: N/A

Attitude towards homosexuals: Aeiouia makes no distinction between different genders and sexualities. Treated completely equally.

Attitude towards women: Our leader is female. And our Military Overseer, by far the most powerful being we have ever discovered, is female as well. So, guess.

3561-C is the third copy of citizen 3561-A, who was programmed over 5,000 years ago, with the focus of being an atmospheric drone pilot.

Although, 3561-C eventually deviated from the interests of those that they were copied from, and instead decided to become a xenological researcher, after witnessing a rather majestic natural alien lifeform that was capable of atmospheric flight on its homeworld.

Since then, they have aspired to become a diplomat representing Aeiouia to other civilizations, as they are fascinated by and very respectful of other sapient species.

Languages spoken: Like all of our diplomatic AIs, 3561-A has access to our language databanks, and can encode their transmissions in any one of millions of languages as a result.
