This is a vehicle in which officers and sherrifs can communicate and all.
Its like the one the N.Y.P.D uses.


A larger ambulance, based on the American types with a Dutch color scheme.


This is a smaller and faster ambulance common in the Netherlands.


A Fire truck Ladder type, based on an American Fire truck ladder, G.F.D means Gelre Fire Department, and its 112 for the emergency number.

Why are the wheels pointy?

Because they are too small to make a perfect round maybe?

Nobody said planes had to be pretty.


It's very flat and has plenty of engine. I'm pretty sure it can.

Usually when a plane is ugly it's "functionally elegant" and the ugliness serves a purpose. The harsh angles and bizarre shape here don't seem to have any purpose at all.

Aerodynamically, it's a nightmare, sorry.

Perhaps you should have mentioned this the 4+ times I posted WIPs of this here and in the air force thread over the last few days. I'm not changing it now. Partly because it would be a pain in the ass now I've added detail, coloured it, and mirrored it, and partly because every response I did receive to the WIPs said it looked just fine.

I was never really content with the look of the Panda main battle tank which I drew some time ago, so I decided to draw a new tank for my reserve forces in a new scale. The arrangement of the road wheels looks a bit odd, but I am happy with the rest of the tank.

It is inspired by that, yeah.

Also, the redrawn tank looks great.

I don't know if this is really the right thread, as this seems to be more about lineart and such, but I'll give it a go. I've been trying to make currency and I've hit a stumbling block in that it looks kinda pants. I've managed to make a coin with a variety of emboss and shadow effects, but I can't really figure out how to make it look 'metallic'.



I also have no idea how to go about making a note at all without it looking like a series of images pasted onto a rectangle.

Anybody know of any handy guides that might help, or have any tips themselves?

Play around with gradients. Making notes is complicated and involves a lot of guilloche patterns, textures, and overlays.

As I said, the arrangement of the road wheels does look a bit odd. I might modify it later. Only torsion bar suspension is used. In theory, there is a larger space between the front road wheel and the one behind it than the other road wheels on the left side of the tank. On the right side of the tank, the larger gap is between the rear road wheel and the one in front of it. This means that the position of the two front road wheels and two rear road wheels is symmetrical, and also allows for the torsion bars to be offset on each side.

It is inspired by that, yeah.

Also, the redrawn tank looks great.

Instead of making pixel art, you make art with lines and curves, and the file stores those lines and curves as their shapes instead of pixels. What this means is that it's infinitely zoomable without losing resolution. Use inkscape or flash or illustrator to make.
