In high capacity mode, the model 115 seats 180 economy-class passengers (30 rows), six seats across with a single aisle. Fitted with four onboard lavatories, two crew galleys, four doors with emergency airslides and four window escape hatches, the airliner operates with a flight deck crew of two and up to four aircraft stewards (with jumpseats for six additional airline employees). All seats are equipped with tray tables, recline, passenger light and air, emergency oxygen masks and personal entertainment unit with onboard wifi and satellite television.

This is very nice! That also reminds me, I need to finish shading my Not!JANET Airlines Not!737. :)

So, here comes something inspired by the real life Janet Airlines 737.

Image

Click for fullsize! I worked hard on this one. :)

What/who is Janet Airlines?
Well, Janet is the de facto name for a small fleet of passenger aircraft operated for the United States Air Force. Their aircraft transport military and contractor employees and currently serve mostly the Nevada National Security Site (most notably Area 51) from their terminal at Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport. In common parlance, JANET is said to stand for 'Just Another Non Existent Terminal'

Supposedly, Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport's terminals for these are high-security, every weekday morning, about 500 people arrive at the guarded terminal with one destination, Groom Lake (Area-51). The aircraft are easily identifiable; they are white with a red strip running the total length of the plane. They fly out to Groom Lake about every half hour in the morning but things slow down in the afternoon with about two to three aircraft always sitting outside. Starting in the late afternoon), the 737s start coming back to Las Vegas.

Here's some links, if you'd like to know more:

On a side note, for the past page or two I seem to be spamming my art, I apologize.

On Government: Checks and balances and ways of stopping things from happening are the only things that provide a stable government and a stable society.

On Democracy: It is a very neutral thing. It can be the best way of ensuring a reasonable government, or it can lead to genocide in the name of 'the people'.

On NSG: I believe the technical term for you people is "malformed conscience".

On society: Until reason and science become cool again, the "enlightened" who profess both but practice neither will continue to gleefully chip away at the bedrock of human society.

Another big image - full JG scale

Click here to see the full size plane

A big brother to the ComJet 115, the ComJet 121 medium range airliner has also found use as an airborne early warning and control aircraft for the military. Heavily modified for Air Force service, the E-121A operates with a flight deck crew of three (Pilot, AC Commander and Navigator), two reserve pilots, and a mission crew of up to 30, including bunk space for duty rotation on long patrols. With air refueling, the E-121A can maintain station for up to 72 hours, as it has sufficient facilities onboard for meals and crew rest.

These are incredible, Elektro! Though it seems like you've left pixel-art style and went to more of a Photoshop style of shading. ;)

Just thought I'd post some WIP Vietnam/Cold-War era Paraganian troops. Totally not ripped-off inspired by U.S. troops in Vietnam. :P

The Republican Guard of Yugo-Austria
Image
The Republican Guard is the ground forces of YA.
Their armor(helmet, breastplate, shoulder pads) is made of thousands of layers of graphene, bonded carbon atoms in sheet form one atom thick, and the under-suit, mask, and beret are made of nanocomposited kevlar and titanium.
The weapons are the GNKT-6 Plasma Assault Rifle, and GNKT-2 Plasma Sub-Machine Gun.

Edit:Does anyone have any tips on how to make them look better?
FYI, this is from scratch, aside from the pose.

What do you mean?

If you want to post art that is more detailed than the JG scale soldiers in the original post, that is perfectly acceptable here. You can draw in any scale you want, or even mess about with 3D modelling if that's your cup of tea. If you wish to describe aspects that cannot be drawn, such as training and recruitment, then there is always the military realism and the infantry discussion threads.

I'm sorry. I mean I want to help the community out with more detailed art that is bigger then JG and allows for more things to be put on uniforms. Accepting requests aswell.
