we use the American Calendar, which has its start on July 4th 1776.

The current year is 238 Anno Liberatis, which means year of freedom

We use both the American calendar, and the Pagan Calendar. Just depends on what part of our Nation you live in.

We use the Gregorian calendar, with the start date being 753 B.C. (the founding of Rome). This is called the Roman calendar.

Another variant that is used often is the Scientific calendar, which is basically the Roman calendar, but it begins at the very beginning of the universe (being the begin of the Big Bang). This is explicitly used in science.

[Kanoria]

In Kanoria, and associated territories, a long calendar cycle-known as an Arndcaer (from the Latin Indicere) lasts 16 solar (Mediterranean) years, known as Arnikaerae. Each of which is constituted by seven months- Mardgar. A week-Arvikkan, is five days- or Dagr, each of ten Stilarnd. A Stilarnd is one hundred Smenaren, and a Smenaren one hundred Artaka.
The names of the Mardgar are as follows, with brackets showing the number of Arvikkan in each.

Leap days are not considered to be a part of any year, but a day of reflection. Each year is given a unique name based upon what happened in the preceding one, decided upon and announced by the monks of Aes-Morra, following an ancient tradition.

Territories in the TL do not make use of timezones, but instead have one fixed clock.

In Gandoor, we utilize the Gregorian calendar. In addition, from 1603 until 1902, we also used a Royal Calendar which was dated starting with the reign of the first Monarch, in addition to the Gregorian calendar. The Royal Calendar was virtually identical to the Gregorian calendar, as far as months and such went, but the first year was the year 1603 (which was designated as year 1).

The way you would mark dates during the period of the Royal Calendar's usage (which was primarily used for official dating and such, in common usage, the Gregorian year was prevalent) was like so:

Usage of the Royal Calendar was officially ceased following Nzard William II, the last monarch of Gandoor, stepping down and officially abolishing the monarchy of Gandoor. The last document to be dated with the Royal Calendar was the document that he signed which dissolved the monarchy and officially transferred control of Gandoor to the interim revolutionary government. The document was dated 299 RC.

Besides the Gregorian Calendar used most commonly, there is the Imperial Calendar based on the years of the current Emperor or Empress' reign. These use an adjective from the Imperial language, followed by the year of the reign.
For example, the current Imperial Calendar date is December 21, Odayakana Jidai no Sannen, or Year Three of the Calm Era.

There are also some calendars, mostly religious, that are used by churches.

The Glorious Republic uses its own version of the French Republican Calendar. Instead of the weather, the 12 30-day months are named after plants and animals native to the Republic. After the last month, there are 5 extra days, and these are named after different values of the Glorious Republic: Orden (order), Trabajo (work), Patria (fatherland), Progreso (progress), and Paz (peace). On leap years, there is an additional day, Revolución (revolution).
