Thylacinia is an aristocratic democratic republic with a federal division of powers. It utilizes a parliamentary system of government in which the apex of executive power is vested in the President as both head of state and government, unlike in most parliamentary republics, wherein the two roles are vested in separate offices. The power to legislate is vested in the Parliament, a bicameral institution consisting of the seventy-six member House of Lords (Thy: Adelhuis) and the one-hundred-fifty member House of Commons (Thy: Volksraad). The Supreme Court is made up of eleven justices appointed by the President and approved by the Parliament.

Parliamentary elections in Thylacinia are conducted by instant-runoff preferential voting. Following each election, the House of Lords elects the President from among their own ranks; therefore, the President is also simultaneously a member of the House of Lords from a particular province (as are all members of the Cabinet). Members of the House of Lords are elected to six-year terms in two overlapping classes consisting of 38 members each; members of the House of Commons are elected to terms of two years.

We are an aristocratic republic in the senses that political franchise is limited based upon social class, and that only members of the nobility may serve in the House of Lords; therefore, the President, and, by extension, the entire executive cabinet, are all members of the noble class.

What type of government and process of governing is present in your nation?
I'll start with mine as an example:
The Dominion is a hereditary monarchy with an elected parliament, but supreme power rests in the hands of the nation's king.

Fascism.
The Fascist regime is an authoritarian Regime where intermediate association, i.e. social organizations like trade unions, borough association, sporting clubs, etc., are represented at their own level, and provide consultative suggestions to the government authority. Every lower level is integrated into the upper level and into the whole nation. Of course, this is a Fascist dictatorship, meaning that every social body must be in line with the provisions and ideal standings of the National Fascist Party.
The organization is similar to semi-presidential republic: the Duce of the Republic and of the Fascism (Italian: Duce della Repubblica e del Fascismo) holds the supreme executive, legislative and judiciary power, as well as the leadership of the single party, but he appoints a Chief of Government (It: Capo del Governo) which runs the day-to-day executive operations without need of confidence votes; economic associations (unions and entrepreneur associations) are represented in the lower house of the Parliament, while the upper house consists of the central committee of the PNF.

Arvenia is a federal hereditary semi-parliamentary democratic monarchy ruled by both a royal family and a parliament, namely a Monarch and a Prime Minister.

Military Autocracy. Elysia is divided between 3 main powers.

The Protostrategos who is the supreme commander of the armed forces.

The Hypostrategos who is to be the successor to the Protostrategos upon his/her death.

The Assembly of Kentarchs which is a body of 12 military commanders (Kentarchs) who handle the day to day running of Elysia. The Kentarchs have their own powers but together they are the third strongest force in Elysia.

The position of Protostrategos is hereditary, having been held by House Hymenaios for almost a 1,000 years.

The Hypostrategos is either the child, sibling, or spouse of the Protostrategos and is appointed by the Protostrategos.

Each Kentarch is appointed to the Assembly by the Hypostrategos and can only be dismissed by him/her. The position is for life unless removed.

Effectively the Protostrategos can override both the Assembly and the Hypostrategos (who chairs the Assembly).

The Hypostrategos can override the Assembly.

And the Assembly can override both of them if most Kentarchs attending the Assembly agree to it. Normally that is 10 out of 12 of them but sometimes Kentarchs do not attend so it is then transferred based off of how many are there. A basic principle though is that the Assembly is full of people who do not get along so that majority is nearly impossible.

At the end of the day all power is held by the military.

Albaie is a feudal imperial federal empire ruled by an autocratic Emperor with assistance from both a chosen military junta and a parliament made up of every member of the High Aristocracy.

Structurally, the government of the Democratic People's Republic of Laneia is a unitary parliamentary republic, with the Supreme Council as the national legislature and the head of state and government being combined in the office of Premier, the head of the largest party in the legislature. Elections take place every five years, two weeks after the Communist Party conference. Only Communist Party candidates are allowed to stand in each seat, with voters offered the choice only to accept or reject their candidate. Currently, the head of Party, State and Government is David Owen, who has been in the position for twenty-two years.

The official ideology of the Communist Party of Laneia is "Laneian Socialism", also called "Marxism-Leninism-Owenism", "Socialism of Our Style", "Socialism with Laneian Characteristics" and "Owenist Communism". Laneian Socialism builds upon traditional Marxism-Leninism, and emphasises three key points: Political independence (refusing to take sides in the struggle between rival power blocs), economic self-reliance (fulfilling our needs ourselves as far as possible, to aid in furthering our political independence), and self-reliance in defence (refusing to rely on any other nation(s) for our security and pursuing an independent defence policy that suits our own needs).

Acratania is a de facto limited monarchy, which has legal limits placed upon the king despite a lack of a formal constitution. In practice, the king's power is constrained by the General Parliament and the judicial system, though the existence of both is determined by acts of royal law rather than a constitution, and thus could theoretically be retracted by the monarch at any time. As such, the King of Acratania retains significant executive and legislative powers. Acratania's throne, unlike most monarchies, is not passed on by heredity. Since the 17th century, upon the demise of a sitting king, the next king is chosen by the Ducal Council, composed of the leaders of Acratania's nine duchies.

We are officially a "single-party socialist constitutional dictatorship". There is only one party, the Partido Popular Paraguayo or PPP. The party decides its leader through an internal vote, and the party leader is the president of the nation. The president is both the head of state and the head of government, and makes all of the laws. All new laws must be approved by the constitutional court, to ensure that they do not violate the constitution. Essentially, we have the same rights as democratic nations, except the people don't choose their leader. We believe that running a nation is not supposed to be a popularity contest, but rather getting things done.

Nationale Einheit is a Constitutional Confederacy with an elected Chancellor and one-hundred member Senate. All governments have been Conservative and far-right with the current government of Chancellor David McGarry coming in with their own Country First party that is more conservative than the Conservative party that ran the country for many decades. Country First presently holds 71 of the 100 available seats in the Senate with the far-left National Reformists carrying only 29 seats. The far-right also holds most of the power nationwide. Country First supports open carry gun laws, less corporate regulation, a strong military and space fleet, an infrastructure revival program and other issues that keep the country strong. They also want to take out property and income taxes in favor of a flat national sales tax that would be determined by a three thirds majority of the Senate and approval by the Chancellor that is to be done next year.

Our Forum is single-chamber and consists of 1000 people, most of which are members of the Communist Party (despite the name, they support democratic socialism, not communism) and the New Democratic Party (who supports social democracy).
