Swear words are not considered taboo here, partly because people are not taught to be offended by them. However, racist and homophobic slurs are banned.

Swearing is considered to be commonplace and is acceptable among informal conversation. It's no big deal.

Swearing is actually illegal in Alizeria under the Vulgarity Act 1979. There is a register of swear words kept by the government, and people who use them in public can be fined for doing so.

There is no real taboo against swearing nor is it illegal or anything like that in Aikoland.

We support your nation for that.

Swearing is taken very seriously.

Profanity is not.

...think about it.

Swearing is illegal in public and is issued for one Re-Education Credit, where a member of the Justice Affiliate will determine your psychological stability. If you pass you are fined, if not, you are held for further questioning and determinations.

It is usually frowned upon. Most of us are very nice, but some Chinese here may swear 1 or 2 a day. 80% of all swears occur when people are playing Minecraft. 89% of that 80% are in the chat function.

There are more swear words in the average sentence in this country than normal words, but god help you if you call someone a 'communist'...

While we tend to be polite, we don't have any real taboo towards swearing, they're just words.

We don't really have an issue with most "bad words" being occasionally used in informal conversations, but we don't like it when people use "damn" or "hell" in non-religious context or use "God" as an exclamation rather than a noun.

*Note that pre-Christian/ pagan deities who are no longer worshipped by Tatrans are sometimes used as a substitute for "God" as an expletive (for example, "may you struck by the axe of Perun").

Bad words are basically nonexistent, but discrimination is heavily frowned upon and should never be used in dialogue.

Swearing is allowed, unless it is directed at a police officer.

Swearing is quite acceptable in informal settings, and under special circumstances, in formal ones all the way up to the leader's speeches to the nation. These "special circumstances" almost always involve a state of open, hot warfare against an enemy, but they also apply to past foes that are especially despised.

The enemies of the Decepticon Empire are not worthy of polite speech and instead should be referred to as what they are. In fact, it would be seen as outright unseemly and cowardly if Leader Megatron did not disparage a national enemy by cursing it out with very colorful words on interplanetary holovision.

Swearing isn't much of a taboo in Arkiasis. Of course there are inappropriate times where one shouldn't swear. But generally if it's done out of frustration, used as an adjective, verb or to imply emphasis it's fine, if it's directed at someone else then it's frowned upon and can be viewed as "offensive". Swearing is not censored on television.

Considered to be vulgar and taboo when in public, in private it is discouraged but allowable. There are no laws banning it specifically though and we have freedom of speech for the most part, and things like defamation of character seen in other places do not exist here.

Curse words differ in Gymnostan.

Many of the common curse words heard on TV are allowed, but may be considered impolite. However, curse words that imply hate speech will receive significant punishment in many venues; these include curse words that discuss gender or natural sex, sexual orientation, race, religion, etc. The most vile curse word that doesn't discuss these is the common language word for coprophagia.

The most popular curse word is for someone with a severe Oedipal complex.

Curse words that are common English language words that are considered curse words in Gymnostan include cancer, brony, and sparkle.
