Yamatai has Yamataigo, which is basically future Japanese. It's one of the official languages in the Yamatai Star Empire. The other major one is Trade, which is like English.

Are either Korean, Chinese, or Japanese widely spoken?

Yamataigo is widely spoken. Chinese is spoken much less widely but is common. Korean is very rare in Yamatai.

Are there small or large communities of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese-speaking people in your country?

Yes. *grin*

What percentage of your population speaks
- Korean: Unknown
- Chinese: Estimated 10%
-Japanese (Yamataigo): Estimated 75%
-Trade (English): 90%
-Seraphim: 10%

Are Korean, Chinese, and Japanese learned as a foreign language in schools?

Chinese is, along with a variety of alien languages like Phodian.
The Star Army is the military arm of the Yamatai Star Empire (FT, RP).

Do Korean, Chinese, and Japanese have official statuses in your nation? If so, which ones?: No

Are either Korean, Chinese, or Japanese widely spoken?: No

Are there small or large communities of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese-speaking people in your country?; There are a number of small communities of "natives" or "enclaves" but Eeri is essentially made up of all Japanese people who immigrated over 100 years ago. The old national identities were discarded and Eeri became it's own identity.

What percentage of your population speaks
- Korean: Less than .01%
- Chinese Less than .01%
-Japanese 01%+ but less than 1%

Are Korean, Chinese, and Japanese learned as a foreign language in schools?: Yes most major schools do offer these languages to learn, smaller rural schools don't.

Do Korean, Chinese, and Japanese have official statuses in your nation? If so, which ones? No. The languages of the Orient have no standing in the Empire.

Are either Korean, Chinese, or Japanese widely spoken? No.

Are there small or large communities of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese-speaking people in your country? There are no such communities. All members of those ethnic groups abandoned their tongues upon being brought into the Glorious Empire.

What percentage of your population speaks the aforementioned languages?: Little to none.

Are Korean, Chinese, and Japanese learned as a foreign language in schools? Why we would want to learn the languages of those who have yet to be conquered?

We are the Glorious Empire of the Scandinvans. Surrender or be destroyed. Your civilization has ended, your time is over. Your people will be assimilated into our Empire. Your technological distinctiveness shall be added to our own. Your culture shall be supplanted by our own. And your lands will be made into our lands.

"For five thousand years has our Empire endured. In war and peace we have thrived. Against overwhelming odds we evolved. No matter what we face we have always survived and grown. We shall always be triumphant." -Emperor Godfrey II

Asian humans sell for- Oh, we're talking about languages. Okay. Apologies.

Do Korean, Chinese, and Japanese have official statuses in your nation? If so, which ones?
No.

Are either Korean, Chinese, or Japanese widely spoken?
No, these languages are not widely spoken.

Are there small or large communities of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese-speaking people in your country?
Yes, there are moderately large, uh, 'communities' of all three. The languages are not very high-demand though, English-speakers being the most valuable. Of the three, Chinese is valued highest.

What percentage of your population speaks
- Korean (6.2%)
- Chinese (18.8%)
- Japanese (10.7%)

Are Korean, Chinese, and Japanese learned as a foreign language in schools?
Yes. Mostly amongst demons however. Fox-demons in particular are rather enthusiastic about Korean and Japanese.

Do Korean, Chinese, and Japanese have official statuses in your nation? If so, which ones?
No such thing

Are either Korean, Chinese, or Japanese widely spoken?
Spoken by tourists, immigrants (rare), and used in diplomacy, commerce, and science and technology sometimes. Much of the diffusion of the Korean and Japanese language however can be blamed on Japanese and Korean entertainment and popular culture.

Are there small or large communities of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese-speaking people in your country?
Small communities of Japanese, Korean and Chinese-speaking people and also rare.

What percentage of your population speaks
- Korean
- Chinese
-Japanese
-All 3 too small to count, perhaps lesser than 0.1% (not counting anime and K-POP fans)

Are Korean, Chinese, and Japanese learned as a foreign language in schools? - Schools do not offer foreign language lessons in the 3 said languages
