What are your nation's views on Socialism? Is it your current leading political government policy? Has it ever been? Could it be? What makes it good/bad?

Since we consider socialism the opposite of individualism and personal isolationism and not capitalism, we fully embrace socialist ideals in Themiclesia.

Socialist implementation leads to Socialist States and Communist States, but not a state of Communism. These things dehumanize and exploit people, just like how Capitalism alienates and exploits. And worse, power gradually becomes centralized and services turn incompetent. Bottom-to-top planning results in a failure to follow necessities as well due to human egoism, due to a lack of resources as well.

Hence, socialist implementation has been abandoned in favor of a free market, however the Constitution of the People's Republic holds this as part of the 100-250 Year Plan; In which the means of production will be bettered through social competition, and this hypothetically could lead to advanced technology (like fusion power and printers) that could result in a theoretical state of Communism; effectively bypassing deficient Socialist planning.

An idea that ultimately fails, and is based on incompetence and envy.

Only works in small amounts in a capitalistic society. Pure socialism is dangerous to everyone's way of life here.

It is the dominant ideology, and the nation is based upon socialist principles. The faults of capitalism are no more.

One of our main ideologies is Social democracy and we are a social democratic republic. The party in power is the Democratic Socialist Party. Socialism is liked by most people, as long as it's social democracy, but not communism. Most people aren't too fond of communism or 'heavier' socialism.

Being a socialist is perfectly legal in Welskerland, but socialists lack national representation and the ideology is not viewed so positively by the populace.

Socialism is considered a bit of an old-fashioned ideology, though some people still support it. These days, the Geadish left tends to focus on equality rather than public ownership of industries. The Socialist People's Party currently hold just under 5% of the seats in the House of Representatives.

We are Prussian Socialist's. We do not like the so-called 'Socialism' told by Liberals. We retain values, at the same time push for a progressive society.

It is viewed as a flawed ideology.

Though we currently don't have negative views on Socialism, we are definitely not switching to it anytime soon. It only seems to work with small, more underdeveloped societies.

We are working through state capitalism (or lemon socialism) in order to reach socialism, and, eventually, communism.

Are nation has the 'United Workers Party', a Socialist paty who hold 3 seats in the house of parlament.
Are country has long leaned to the left side of the political spectrum, with communism being influential in the 1940s-50s when our democratic nation was in its infancy.

Socialism is tolerated by most YellowApplans, even though YellowApple, Inc. is the embodiment of ultimate capitalism. YellowApple, Inc. does demonstrate some socialist tendencies, however (like free healthcare, free mass transit, free education, and free housing, though YellowApplan citizens may opt out of these things, subsequently losing the benefits they'd otherwise be paying for).
